The owner of this cleaning service came over and yelled at a poor girl for getting a sip of water! She told her boss she was dizzy, the owner proceeded to tell her she needed to eat in the car between houses! I talked with one of the girls and she said they are not allowed to drink water, must eat between homes, not wash their hands at the home they are cleaning! They are not given gloves, mask just the cleaning supplies. Then she tells me they think their tips are being stolen we were shocked. The next few weeks these poor girls told me they don't get breaks or a lunch! The first girl I talked to I hadn't seen so I asked what happened and learned this owner fired the girl for something someone else broke in a client's home. We kept track of the tips we gave the girls they never got them! This owner is terrible I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy!! Shame on you Jodi for taking advantage and abusing those poor girls may every thing you have done to them fall on your head you evil woman shame on you!

We wanted to hire her to do a deep clean and then clean the whole house every week. She gave us a quote, which we thought was high for the weekly clean and negotiated it down a bit. The deep clean went well, although, it took a bit long as the girls were just getting to know our house, the layout etc. (My husband and I have learned from having paid professional housekeepers for the past 20 years, that the first couple of cleanings take longer than usual.) Jodi sends her girls back the following week, and when they show up...they have a list of a very limited amount of rooms that they will clean every week AT the SAME pay that Jodi quoted us for the ENTIRE house! What! My husband calls her for an explanation. Jodi told my husband very curtly that this was nonnegotiable. He explained the amount of time that we know our house takes to clean from experience, and understands that it will take the girls a few cleanings to get their routine down. BTW: My husband and I are both neat freaks, our house isn't that dirty, and we only have two 5 pound Yorkies. We have the normal/typical amount of dust/dirt from normal daily living, and we tidy up constantly. Our house cleaning didn't even require making beds or picking up any clutter etc. So, the phone call about this matter did not go well. She called my husband a liar (because we had to do additional detailed work after the "deep clean"). She was snotty, condescending, and unprofessional on the phone. She told us that she cleans hundreds of houses per week (which can't be true, because one of the girls that helped with the "deep clean" told me that Jodi only has four house keepers currently). She continued to say that if we wanted our whole house cleaned every week, she would have to charge us an additional $175! We were already paying her $325, which we thought was high, but wanted the detailed work that she promised. I don't understand how a person who is supposed to be very knowledgeable about cleaning homes can give an exact quote after a thorough inspection of every room in my home, and then increase her price without notice. After being completely insulted, and then duped, we promptly fired her service. I highly recommend that you do not waste any time with Jodi's Cleaning Service.

Note: they hire contractors and they don't employ ACTUAL professional cleaners. Extremely disappointed. I was really excited for this because I am redoing my apartment and wanted a deep clean before I move things around, etc. I paid for extras including a deep clean, washing of dishes, baseboards and spot clean the walls. I live in a small studio apartment where there are barely any baseboards. The dishes were still dirty and stacked in a way where they retained moisture and there was caked on food on half of the dishes. Baseboards were not touched and the walls were not touched. They tried to argue with me saying that the cleaner didn't attempt to do the walls and the baseboards because they needed to be "repainted" but then why was I still charged for it? I sent them before and after pictures of me doing it including a one minute video of me cleaning the worst section with ONE Clorox wipe. The cleaner then left all of my cabinets GREASY in an unknown concoction and left the top of my dresser the same way. They argued that I didn't pay to have the INSIDE of my cabinets cleaned. That has nothing to do with what I just explained about the outside of the cabinets that I did pay for. Then they didn't move any picture frames, etc around and just wiped around it which is not a deep clean again something I paid for. I was out of town and they left my window OPEN (they knew I have a cat!) and unplugged my auto cat feeder so my cat was crying when I got home. They said the window was left open because the cleaner had PET ALLERGIES. Why is someone with pet allergies cleaning my apartment especially when I AGAIN PAID EXTRA BECAUSE I HAVE PETS. I checked under my ONE rug in the apartment to see if they actually mopped and vacuumed. Nope they didn't even vacuum the rug itself and didn't clean underneath it. I'm leaving this review because after sending pictures and videos and just asking for the extras to be taken off, they tried to argue with me and only give me 10% off of a $289 bill. And before I even got home to inspect (they cleaned the day before I got back home), they called, texted and emailed me about leaving a tip which felt really overbearing when they knew I was out of town. Nicole got back to me right away, even though I was asking for quotes late at night. She called me the next day for a follow up and asked a few more questions. I was happy to hear they supply all their own gear and cleansers. I booked them about a week out for 10am, 3 hours, 2 people- $150. They arrived at 10:45 but I wasn't too worried about that. Nicole assured me while another cleaning had gone long, they'd be able to stay the full 3 hours. They spent about 45 minutes alone on my kitchen and bathroom before heading downstairs where the bulk of the cleaning was. I was sent a text and called by Nicole about halfway thru to let me know the size of the space was bigger than expected so they were going to tack on another $50. But again, the invoice was emailed and I didn't have to pay til they left which made me more comfortable. I didn't feel forced into paying for something I couldn't see. They left at 1:10, which was definitely more like 2.5 hours. Normally I wouldn't have minded but they didn't dust so I went through and did a few final steps. Again, not a lot! But if they had stayed the whole 3 hours I'm sure they would have gotten it all. I reached out to Nicole and told her about it and she agreed to go back to the original $150 without any hesitation. Truly- what they DID was perfect. The bathtubs have never looked better. The faucets shine. The floors are smooth and clean. But hitting the final spots- dusting the banister, cabinets, picture frames, wiping down the wall by the stove and bathroom sink- would have made it a 5 star review. Which was dope. But the kid they sent to clean it, just wasn't good man. I left after he arrived and gold him to just text me when he left (I had errands to run) and I would tip him via venmo. When I got home there was too many areas of the rooms that weren't dusted and it was very obvious. Certain parts of the bathroom not being clean, along with the kitchen. Just too many half assed jobs. I tipped him a little lower than what I normally would tip but I won't be using this company again .
