Out of all the nail salons I have been to in the Overland Park area this is by far the worst when it comes to pricing. When I got the tab for how much my Fill-ins were I was shocked that it was almost $25..... if the atmosphere and staff was super professional I might be able to understand that high price but that was not the case. When I asked why it was so high they argued with me and told me that it's always been that price when I have been there previously before in an emergency situation and it was $18. If you were looking for a relaxing experience and to not be rushed through your pedicure and manicure process do not go here... And if you are trying not to pay an arm and leg do not go here either. read more

I've been coming to Image Nails for YEARS. Even when I lived out of state, I'd make sure to save my mani/pedi needs and visit Image when I was back in town. Ben has always been my go-to for manis, pedis, gel and dip. He always takes his time which I'm totally ok with considering I leave w perfect nails EVERY time. The salon is under new management and has been recently renovated/updated which has made the feel of the place so much nicer (plus new pedi massage chairs!). The staff that joined with the new management are all a fun and super friendly group of people who have silly convos and contagious laughs. Julie is hilarious and is also a pro w mani/pedis (gel and polish). I don't know the names of everyone else but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong w any of the techs here nowadays. read more

I came in for a dip manicure. I have short nails and have to keep them short. They put tips on even after I said no. They left them way too long for me and wouldn't change them. The person also did 4 dips into the powder which made them EXTREMELY thick. They look terrible. I will not be returning. read more

What the actual f***..... just got the worst set of acrylics I've ever gotten done, and i've been getting my nails done for 4 years. I recently moved to OP, was looking for a place to get my nails done, saw some good reviews and pictures. Don't get me wrong-- they were extremely nice. However my nail artist was wayyyyyy to fast, broke my real nails when trying to get my old nasty set off, and she didn't complete all the steps to the best of her ability. I understand it was 5pm, I'm sure she was ready to go home for the day and start her weekend. But I pay my hard earned money to have my hands look pretty, however they look like sh*t. I originally asked for round shaped nails, she said it would look ugly with the color... Ok. I didn't ask you. Thanks though. The square nails i have are WIDE at the brim, i asked her to fix it, she did some random files, then told me to wash. Also not to mention the paint looks horrendous and the nails weren't put on straight. So here I am calling nail salons around the area asking if they can salvage some of this crap and make my hands pretty again. Please Image Nails, have some pride in what you do. This is embarrassing. With the new owner and renovation this salon has definitely turned around! New and amazing nail techs, super cute and professional. Definitely a friendly atmosphere and you're guaranteed to laugh and have a good time. Got a new set today. The prices advertised on their website NOT what they actually charge. Actually on average $10 more expensive. The woman who did my nails was ham handed and did not speak to me the entire time. From a distance, my nails look fine. But she didn't cut away my cuticles until after she applied the polish, and they will need to be filled sooner now. Polish is uneven at the base and she left my pinky finger bleeding with aggressive use of the dremel tool. She never even compared the hands to make sure each nail matched in length. She applied three coats and not very evenly. I can see air bubbles in five out of ten nails. No one can see it from a distance. But I can. I will not be returning. read more

She rushed through the pedicure just so she could get on her phone to FaceTime her friend at her nail desk. Not happy. Image nails is a really nice and clean place. I don't write reviews, but their prices are amazing! I've been going to Tanya for about a year and she has always done a great job. I've had gel nails in the past that were super thick or that only lasted for a week. When Tanya does them they look good and last for about 2 and a half weeks. read more

Horrible. The first time I went in for a full set, the lady put on one of my nails crooked. I asked her was she going to fix it and she said yes. She proceeded to put the powder on top as I steadily watched. Eventually she tried to file it "straight" and figured it wasn't working so she took the nail off. (which should have been done to begin with) I was in a rush so I didn't get my nails painted that day and said I would come back another day. Before I could even return not even 3 days later I have a broken nail and many of my other nails were cracking on the sides. I came back frustrated about the quality and they said they would fix it no charge, but the attitude I received was so rude. I sat down and some other lady started "fixing" my nails and didn't greet me or anything and pretty much rushed my nails. She was a little aggressive with my hands too. I'm glad I kept my composure. Another lady came in after me and sat with the same lady and you would of think this lady was a different person with how friendly she became. The nails still looked horrible but I had enough with that place to stay longer or fuss. Not even a week later multiple nails broke and one cracked through my real nail so bad I was gushing blood. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. It is not worth the lack of quality, price, and terrible customer service. read more

Horible, unsanitized tools, bad service! I got my nails done at Image Nail by Lee,  last week. When she was filing and buffing - too occupied with the phone and hurrying. She sliced into my pinky's skin with a NAIL FILE! When I told her what she did and asked her to put alcohol or something on it, she said I could wash it off later. It was bleeding! Then she proceeded to drill file that area as well, irritating it even more, being very aggressive, and doing a poor french polish that I have never seen done in such a way before. She even had the audacity to ask me for tips as she was charging me! She was so rude!! The cut to bleeding my finger that caused bacterial infection. My doctor said the bacterial infection was caused by the unsanitized tools and equipments. This nail salon is not professional in hygiene and customer services. I do not recommend anyone to Image Nail, OP KS because I had a bad experience. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against them. Avoid at all costs. Not even great prices for terrible service. read more

service was great! however, there is one problem...........a 10% debit charge fee that they do not tell you about! i used my debit card and when i checked my account there was a 10% upcharged on my account. when i called, michael said it would not be charged on my account. he called it a merchant hold fee and said that the merchant service center (1-800-554-4777) would return to my account within 24 hours. my girlfriend who referred me went there two weeks ago and her fee was not returned to her account! i called the merchant and they said this is a charge that image nails is charging, not them, and it was up to image nails to return the fee. i did tip for service, $5.00 and would not have had a problem with the 10% had i been told! the extra .50 cents is a smart way to make some extra money. if michael hits say....16 customers a day with the same ole .50 cent, six days a week, four times a month for one year, he will have collected an additional $11, 520.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want my .50 cent back!! and next time, i will just pay cash! read more
