I had an amazing experience here! Tom did my GelX extensions and he was incredibly kind and patient from start to finish. I came in after a long day of work, pretty quiet and tired, and he was so respectful and let me just relax while he worked. He recommended GelX since I didn't want acrylic, and I'm so glad he did they came out perfect. I changed my mind about the color in the middle of the service and he didn't rush or judge me at all. I asked for an almond shape and he got it exactly right. As someone who gets their nails done regularly, these are easily in my top 5 sets ever. I'm only in town for business, otherwise this would be my new regular spot. But when I come back to Kansas, I'll definitely be asking for Tom again! Highly recommend!

But my mom saw my nails and pedicure and urged me to share my experience. My Gel X manicure felt rushed and the polish ended up looking uneven and bumpy. The shaping and length looked good, but the polish is just messy and one of my nails has even started lifting. They look alright from a distance, but up close they do not look professionally done. The pedicure looked nice, but I ended up with scratches on my foot, which is painful and concerning. I've included some pictures of my manicure and the scratches on my foot from the pedicure (taken right after I got home from the salon). I want to note that the tech was very kind and I understand salons can get busy, but the quality just wasn't there during my visit. When I spend $130 (tip included), I would expect a bit more attention to detail. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my experience.

Ly is the absolute best. I've sat in her chair only to describe the art I want and it's always on point. The nail art is fantastic however, the real gem is the quality of the manicure. I love ritz nails!! I didn't have an appointment, but they still got me in a chair swiftly within 10 minutes. The workers are very kind and personable, and the man at the desk is the sweetest. They do their work with care and consideration yet get everything done very promptly. They even do discounts for birthdays alongside reasonable pricing. Worst manicure I've ever had. She made my finger bleed, and smudged the polish on 2 nails. Will never return! Told me drying time was "5" minutes. Regular mani! My regular shop it's at least 30! You are sitting so close to the other person you can't move the chair. read more

I usually never have had issues with ritz nails but I had a 3:00 o'clock appointment and wasn't seen until 3:30. They had people in the back eating and chatting while some people were working. It wasn't super busy, they had a couple of people getting pedicures and a few others getting manicures. Once they got me in a chair one girl got me started with soaking off my current set then a guy switches places with her and takes over. He would keep tugging my arms and telling me to sit still when I'm not even moving, when clipping my natural nails he would clip my skin, and when I would rub my hands and stretch my fingers before he put polish on because of how rough he was and how my fingers felt out of sorts because of the extreme twisting of my fingers. He acted ticked off and gave me a lecture on why I shouldn't do that. Even though my fingers were in discomfort. And I got short pink acrylic nails that were in an almond shape with white polkadots and it ended up being $76!!!!! Before tip... whenever I was done, he never got off product off my skin and didn't received any lotion with a quick massage. I left the store with product all over my hands, even after I tried to brush my hands off when he told me not to. The nails ended up turning out fine but with the service it definitely wasn't $76 worth ($91.31). I left the salon around 5:30. I still tipped him 20% because I know times are hard right now but at least take your time and do a good job so you can still receive future business with happy customers. read more

I don't go to many salons but I enjoyed my time at Ritz. Kim did a great job. the service was relaxing and efficient. They often checked to see how was feeling. the pedicure and massage were well done and much needed! the shop is pretty busy and popular from what I've seen so the workers and leadership must be good. it might be hard to get a walk-in appointment so I was schedule early. Had a good experience here for the first time. They quickly got me in and did exactly what i asked for. Spent $45 for a gel manicure. Was cheaper than typically places I've gone to so that was a lovely surprise. Got my nails done with 5 other girls and they all turned out well. Painful and messy! My nail tech was very hasty and aggressive with the cuticle cleanup process at the beginning of the manicure. She was very harsh with the cuticle clippers and clipped me so hard that my finger started bleeding. Even after clipping me, she was still rough on my other hand, and I had to ask her to be gentler. The rest of the manicure was overall messy. I had to ask my nail tech to fix a few of my nails for bumps and color patchiness. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE, They couldn't do anything my girlfriend requested, My girlfriend was completely respectful and patience with the nail techs, after a while the nail techs were talking Shit in their language, my girlfriend could tell base on body language and facial expressions, The techs were not professional at all, will never come here again. Also saw bugs crawling on the floor. Nothing was forced, she went from base coat to regular polish, that's one change. Like I said your techs were not professional, saying unneeded things like " when I go to the nail salon I know what I want" she never apologized about anything and never mentioned anything about a bad day. The chairs have great massage settings (though the higher ones can feel a little intense, so be careful lol). I also loved that they have nail color samples on sticks instead of only in books. It makes it so much easier to see how a color will actually look. My nails turned out gorgeous thanks to George and Teresa. My only real frustration is the booking process. You can only make appointments over the phone, and while I was able to schedule once via messaging, my later messages there were never responded to. It's a small thing, but it does make it less accessible or convenient to book for people with accessibility limitations, and that's the only thing that has stopped me from returning. Still, the staff I interacted with were friendly and skilled, and the results were beautiful. I would be back if there were more flexible ways to book for people with limitations.

I understand that returns in this line of work is sticky, but I also understand that if you ask for a price, the decency is to honor it with your product and services. Great Nail Services, but Customer Experience Needs Improvement I've visited this nail salon for several years and love the quality of their work--truly talented technicians. However, my experience has been marred by poor customer service. Pricing is inconsistent, making it hard to budget, and there seems to be favoritism among the staff, with some clients receiving more attention than others. I've also found the technicians to be overly aggressive with nails, which can be uncomfortable. Additionally, it's frustrating when they claim they can't do certain designs that are clearly posted on their website. I am visiting from out of state. Because I didn't have time to get get my nails done before I left home, I decided to get them done here. Very bad decision. The lady who did my nails was extremely nice, but the job she did on my nails is AWEFUL! Most of my nails have that 'wrinkled', look and feel, where the polish is not applied smoothly. I also have my 'old' red polish still showing in spots with my 'fresh' French manicure. In addition, some of the clear and white polish are on several of my fingers. The overall job is botched and rushed- I would NOT recommend this particular nail salon to anyone, particularly anyone who comes from out of town. read more

We took our bride and bridesmaids to get nails and pedicures. we had read all the reviews and knew this was the place to go. we were immediately greeted, and we're able to show them our inspiration photo and they immediately went to work on all 4 of us at the same time. our bride had her pedicure and nails done all at once. they took there time and were very thorough with everything. they are decently priced and have excellent service. out of all the places we have been this is definitely the best place by far. highly highly recommend it. read more

My sister and I have been here twice the past 2 months! I heard they recently got new management. But they are consistently amazing! The product they use for gel or dip is awesome bc they have almost every color you can ever imagine. And it's quality! The owner always recommends cute trendy designs and executes them PERFECTLY. I loooove my nails from ritz. The people here are always so patient, nice, and pay so close attention to detail. I've seen no other nail place in this area that can do such good a job on nail designs.
