Prior to coming to NVUS, I had tried SNS (dip) and hated how thick and lumpy it was, vowing to stick to gel. After talking to John about my experience with SNS, he explained the benefits of properly-done SNS and I decided to give it a try. The NVUS team takes their time to execute SNS properly, not cutting corners or skipping steps to save time. I am now moving away from the area and sad to have to look for a new nail salon, as NVUS has set the bar so high. Although they are appointment only, it is well worth it for the quality of service you receive.

John's personable and friendly when you walk in. Love the atmosphere and decor. It's very cleanly and they are very cautious and wash their hands after every customer. (That's a major plus for me!) They follow COVID protocols () They pay attention to your wants they go above and beyond to make sure your satisfied with their work. The wait time is reasonable. I've been to various nail salons in the area and most of them are horrible about starting on time. It's definitely worth the travel! There color selection is great. I highly recommend Mia she's a five ***** rating! She's so gentle, friendly and does quality work. They book rapidly so make sure you book in advance because they do give priority to booked appointments first. They also do walk ins but your taking a chance on not getting in if they are booked. After that, she kept saying number 2? Number 2? And I kept telling her no, I would like a number 1. And then she pointed at 2 and I said NO a number 1. She kept trying to push me to pay more for a number 2. And even after all of that, she then comes back with the supplies and says "you, number 2" and I said wait what no I want a number 1. Greedy for money management/owner The reason why I refuse to return to this Nail Trend salon... (4.) Unsanitary practice. While getting SnS service, the nail tech proceeded to use her own (dirty) nails to push back my cuticles. I know this has to be against some sanitation guidelines and protocol. Afterwards, she swiped a very small amount of cuticle oil on my nails. The lady who was receiving service next to me had to ask her nail tech if she could get some cuticle oil. The nail tech responded by saying, "you want that?" Then he swiped a small amount across her fingers, not on any of her nails. Do these people even know the purpose of cuticle oil? Although the outcome of my nails looked good and lasted without any breaks, splits, or cracks, just know that if you go there, you Go At Your Own Risk!
