I could tell Vy was a little annoyed at how specific I was being - I also couldn't decide on color or design, it was one of those days - but she did exactly as I asked and I am so happy with them! Sam did my pedicure, and it was so relaxing and she did the polish perfect. I usually go to another spot that I really do like, about 30 minutes from my house but Charming nails is only 10 minutes. Everyone was polite and professional, I loved my nails. It was $15 extra for the cat eye polish (so $30 extra including toes). I don't Tennessee specific prices for my mani pedi. Total was $120 and I gave a $20 tip, so $140. I'm from California and this is the most I've ever paid for a mani pedi. My nails started chipping at day 5. I went back on about day 10 and got them fixed. They repolished only the chipped nails (5/10 fingers) and the rest started chipping the next day. My gel polish normally lasts 3weeks at least and never chips. I won't be returning to this place.

Upon arrival you're greeted by the front desks attendants. They walk you to the back and show you around if it's your first time. Your rope and sandals are located in a locker with your name in it. After changing you chose your code to lock your locker. The showers have clean towels and complementary shaving kits. Afterwards you're walked to the relaxation room. At the relaxation room they have complementary snacks, water and tea for you to relax in before you're called in for your massage. Our therapists were really nice and professional. We felt really well taken care of. After your massage you can go back to the relaxation room or be walked to the locker room. The facility was exceptional. Everything was stocked and really clean. Will definitely be back!

The first woman at Lush Nails was very aggressive and just kept saying, "Yes" to everything I said even though she wasn't understanding me. I said, "I would like to test these two colors and then choose. She grabbed one and shoved it at me. Then I showed her the injury on my knee and said, "Please do not touch this. It's very injured." She said yes and then proceeded to grab my pant leg and try to pull it up back over the wound. I asked all the women around me if there is someone who could understand English and translate. Finally, the receptionist came over. When she started translating, the technician started laughing. It may have been a nervous laugh, but it felt like she was laughing at me and my injuries. This wasn't going to work. I asked for someone else to do the mani/pedi. It was a frustrating 15 minutes, but now Lily, who understands about 30% English is taking care of me. I only know how to say, "Thank you," and "Beautiful" in Vietnamese, and those are actually two useful phrases today. So "Cảm ơn, Lily. My nails look xinh đẹp."

You can tell that the staff prides itself on cleanliness because the salon is kept pristine. I also really like that they put the blue bags around the tub portion in the pedicure chairs! When you come in for service, you are often offered a free drink while they work on you. I often get SNS when I go because the price is fair ($30). They offer matte coats for SNS also! They have a full color range for all types of nails; I have never gone in and not found a color that I wanted. I've never had a bad technician when I've gone in and they are all very kind and professional. My only complaint about coming to this salon is that parking can be limited sometimes, but that is not the salon's fault.
