Having my car fully detailed at Image Auto Detailing could not have been a better experience. Shawn laid out exactly what a full detail entailed and how long it would take. I take good care of my vehicles but after about two years of daily driving, my 2016 FR-S was beginning to lose much of its shine. After Shawn and crew worked their magic, the car came out looking better than when I bought it. They managed to bring out a metallic shine I did not know existed. Shawn also provided quality info on how to keep the car looking its best. Overall, I would recommend Image Auto Detailing to anyone looking for the best. The photos speak for themselves. If you're on the fence, head over and look at their work in person. read more

I have been to this detailing location before. My range rover has taken a beating out in the sun for the past few years so I thought I would splurge a bit for detailing. I called to make an appointment for the following weekend. Shawn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He clearly laid out the pricing and service and strongly recommended me to get the level 2 service given the condition of my vehicle. I was hesitant at first (not a big fan of up-selling) but after seeing him work on my car for an hour, I was convinced that my rover needed the extra detailing work. Shawn and his team did magic on my 5-year old rover and brought it back to life. I barely recognize my own car when I went back to pick it up 6 hours later. I felt like I have purchased a brand new vehicle. Shawn and his team continue to amaze me every time I come here. Their skills, passion and attention to details are what make them the best detailer in the area. For all of you looking to get your detailing job done right, I suggest calling ahead for appointment. Be forewarned that their prices are not cheap, but for the quality work they perform, I think it is well worth it. I strongly recommend this location to anyone who is serious about detailing. No doubt, these guys are the best around. read more

Image Auto Detailing is the best place to take your car for AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL results. Shawn and the rest of his team know exactly what they are doing when it come to waxing/polishing and obviously much more. They take good care of my car like its theirs (which, I absolutely love). Location: Its at the bottom of the structure (1st level) which is perfect. No heat from the sun while waxing the car or debris. They ONLY use MICROFIBER CLOTHS =) They ONLY stream wash. I can't express how happy I am with how my paint looks. I get compliments on my car all the time. From how smooth to that full wet feel. I have no swirl marks of any kind. I'm truly 100% satisfied with the service they provide. read more

My 26 year old car had never gotten a proper paint detail - at least not in the 16 years I have owned it. While staying at the nearby Embassy Suites in Brea, I decided to find someone who could hand wash and perhaps wax it a bit. Then I found Image - in walking distance!!! They dedicated the afternoon to my car and made it glossy and shiny like never before. It came out absolutely stunning! In addition, communication with the owner was awesome, and the price was very reasonable, given the results. Next time I'm in the area, I will have this done again. read more

Things to know: 1.) This is not a regular car wash. This is a luxury service, and these are the best guys to do it. Make sure your car is not particularly dirty when you arrive, and you will be very impressed with the results. 2.) If you select Image, it's because you want top quality. That means you want perfect quality for whatever service you select. Therefore, do not haggle over price or time frame. Shawn is an artist who sells auto detailing perfection. If you want that service, this is the place. The quality of the result is worth the price and time. 3.) Shawn will only deliver the best. If you are unhappy, he is clearly motivated to make it right. These guys went above and beyond to fit me into their busy schedule as well as deliver a top notch product. Shawn has so much passion that it's clear he did more than a basic wash and wax, but I appreciate the entry level price point. I will gladly return and recommend Image to my friends. read more

Husband and I dropped off our Range Rover for a quick wash while I shopped at Nordstrom. The guys were quick to attend us and it took about 1 hr. 30 min. Since their was two other cars ahead of us. Great spot to get your car washed while you shop/dine at the mall. We loved the fact that they dry your car in the shade, unlike other places that do it out in the sun! read more

So the Lincoln's are extremely happy and shiny and I must say I'm sorry to anyone that went blind looking at my shiny red Lincoln's when I drove home that night! Obviously Shawn and His team did an incredible job cleaning these vehicles up and making them Auto-Show worthy. I usually wash and wax my cars myself but who knew I was doing it all wrong and I'm responsible for all those swirly marks in the paint (all gone now thanks to Shawn). Shawn was even cool enough to educate me on how I should be washing the cars to avoid marking up the paint's finish like that in the future. You can definitely tell He really likes what He is doing and is very proud of His Business. I'll definitely be a repeat Customer. As a matter of fact my Mustang is so jealous of the Lincoln's now I'll have to take that in soon to get it in tip-top shape too. Thanks Shawn. read more

I have 2015 GMC Sierra , Unfortunately I had an issue with a local dealership . Took in for service and they so call washed but they swirled the crap out of my black paint . So I wasn't so much of a regular at this detail shop several washes here and there , once in a while a wax but since this happened to my truck I took back in and I spoke with Sean and he advise me that a polish and a ceramic coating will get it back to better than new . I'm more than satisfied with the final product . Thanx guys . read more

I couldn't be happier with the service I got at Image Auto Detailing today. If you're looking for a place where your car will actually be well cared for, this place gets my highest recommendation. I brought in my car after a 2,400-mile cross-country drive left the whole front and windshield caked with bugs and other road junk. It looked terrible, and I wish I had a before-and-after picture to show. But what's important is the result: this car looks brand new after two hours at IAD. I would use them again, and not just for extreme situations. You should too. It's worth the cost premium over your local foam-wax-and-wipe-down, swirl-marks-and-water-spots car wash. read more

I just bought a brand new Lexus GSF fresh from the dealership. I have always been picky when it comes to detailing my car. I knew off hand that the wax job done by the dealer before delivering the car was not good enough. I shop in Brea Mall and had seen high-end cars being detailed by Image Auto Detailing all the time. Soon as I got the chance, I brought my brand new car to IAD to give the nice glassy shine it deserved. Since I am a new customer, Shawn was kind enough to tell me about the company. Immediately I was impressed by how detail-oriented he is. The rags were even color-coded (4 different colors for different parts of the car!). That's crucial! Can you imagine the other car wash places who use the same rags on your wheels as on the exterior of your car?!!! You wouldn't want leftover brake/metal dust on the rag that they will later use to wipe the exterior or interior of your car, would you? That will never be the case if you bring your car to Shawn and his crew. Update: 9/10/2016 Another awesome work by Shawn and his crew. The car looked awesome after just a regular wash and Shawn's keen eyes informed me of some possible issues that I can fix for the next time I bring my Lexus GSF over for some polishing (bird poop etchings, minor scratches, etc). I just really know I am leaving my baby in good hands when I bring it to Shawn for some car pampering. Best auto detailing in town...most definitely! read more

I've been looking for the right detailing shop for a while now and I stumbled upon this one by accident. I was greeted by Shawn that took time to inspect the car and told me what was needed to be done. I told Him I have somewhere to go in a couple hours and he adjusted to that. On top of that while getting your car wash you could walk around brea mall since the place is located inside one of the parking structures. Definitely going to keep coming back and referring my friends. You definitely get what you pay for. Awesome job! read more

I have a car coming off of lease and realized I've been horribly neglecting it. After a closer look I found quite a few trouble area (scratches) that may have cost me at turn in. After calling to make sure they had availability on Saturday I brought the car in and explained what I thought I needed. Instead of just saying yes and upselling me further hey very carefully went through each point and explained what I needed and what I didn't. Thank you for your honesty and professionalism on that very important point! Next he gave me an estimate, considering the amount of time it would take and the overall savings I would see compared to the charges I would incur at turn in I thought it very reasonable Finally, I came in to pick it up. To say I was stunned is an understatement. I know they have different stages but I felt mine was showroom new. Even under the harsh lighting of the fluorescents it looked great. Even if I wasn't turning my car in for lease close out I would have happily paid the final price. Thank Image! Greg read more

This place is great! I brought my car in after having bought it a couple of days prior, the previous owner was a smoker and lived in Norco, so a lot of dirt and dust was in the car. The entire car was very dirty overall. I was pretty impatient to get my car detailed right away because I bought it from a friend and it didn't come cleaned at all, and I wanted it to feel "new" to me! I guess I lucked out because I drove up and was able to get right in! I was VERY impressed with how my car came out, the leather seats looked practically brand new, and the smell of smoke was greatly reduced. Overall, I had a great first experience with them and will definitely be returning in the future! read more

Best auto detailing place!!!! I drive from corona and I shop while my cars get done. I highly recommend this place....

I have brought my car here for a wash a few times. Overall the quality of service was beyond my expectations. The customer service is also on point. The convenience of having your car washed while you shop is perfect. The prices might be on the little higher side, but you will be more than happy with the work. When I got my car washed inside and out, I tried to find one spot where they might have missed, to my surprise I was knit able to. Thanks guys! read more

Always the best! Shawn has owned this business since he was a teenager and has continued to build with passion. Quality for sure!

Ecstatic with the job Shawn and team did with my car!!Brought my car in for a detail and discuss some options for the roof since it seemed to be oxidizing. After Shawn's assessment, he was able to determine my roof had already been wrapped and that he could possibly restore the original paint however he would let me know. Most times when you get the "maybe" you tend to believe it probably won't happen... fast forward a few hours (and shopping bags ) to my pleasant surprise, Shawn (+team) pulled it off!!! The job cost a little bit more, however, well worth it and a great investment. In additon to the phenomenal job Shawn did, he is also a straight up guy who takes great pride in his work. I look forward to returning when I need a touch up. read more

The guys here did an incredible job on my boyfriend's 86! There were tons of water spots that wouldn't come off no matter how many times we got it washed. But when we talked to Shawn he told us the steps they can take to get it off. He took his time with us to make sure we understood what they were going to do. After they got a good idea of how long it'll take they gave us a call for an update. They did such a good job, and we are both so happy how well it came out! read more

Had a great experience at this place. Took my car in today hoping to get a basic wash, not realizing how bad my car had gotten. I hadn't had a real hand wash in almost 10 months. Shawn told me we'd have to do a wash and wax to even make a dent on the dirt damage. After starting on the car, about an hour and a half in he had to call me and let me know the basic wax and polish didn't do as much cleaning as hoped and he'd have to do multiple coats of the polish. After about 3 1/2 hours of work, Sean and another team member completed my car and got it looking brand new. I am so thankful for all of their hard work, and willingness to fit me in to their schedule! I would definitely recommend setting up an appointment for any detailing service, as it takes such a long time and spots fill up fast. 5 stars, Shawn was super helpful, explained everything he did to the car, and took before during and after videos of the process. Highly recommend! It was expensive, but they worked hard, so the price was worth the work they put in. read more

Because my car is parked outside all day at work, I unfortunately got tree sap and dirt all over my Rover. Showed up to this place at 1:30 pm on a Monday, when its clearly "open", and no one was there. I called three times. I needed my car detailed and drove all the way to this place and it was a ghost town. Don't come here, it's a waste of your time. read more

I purchased an $85 wash and wax. On my way home, I noticed there was dust on the dashboard. I took pictures. Next time I was there, I told them. They said they only blow and wipe down the dash, they don't clean it. I said the dash was dusty to where I could wipe it with my finger, so it wasn't blown or wiped. They basically said there was nothing they could do since I didn't take it back right away (I live about 30 minutes away, so returning just to have them to wipe off my dash wasn't a reasonable option). Poor cleaning initially and even worse customer service. I expect a lot more for the money. I won't return. read more

Got my car washed because I was going to the mall and it was convenient. They did a good job on the exterior but the interior wasn't even vacuumed well. I'm not sure what they did but the air from the vents also smelled bad for over a week. Lastly, they charged me extra because my car was dirty. Ummm, the car should be dirty. Why would I take a clean car to a car wash? read more

This review is long past due, sorry Shawn! If you're in the area, this is the place to get your car detailed. Shawn and team are professional, skillful, and courteous. I had a sprinkler malfunction that turned my car into a leopard. Shawn quoted me $250 for the job over the phone, estimating 2.5hrs of work. Upon arrival, I was told the problem was much worse, as the hard water stains had eaten into the clear coat. Shawn stuck by his quote, told me he will have to cut and polish the car, and told me to come back after he calls. It took four hours in the end to get the job done, he stayed after business hours alone to complete it, all for the price he originally quoted. The car was in BETTER condition than the day I picked it up from the dealership. Shining shimmering splendid showroom magnificence! I felt so guilty! To be honest it's not what you would expect from a shopping mall car wash, this is a hidden gem! Please open a location at South Coast Plaza or Fashion Island! read more

Took my SUV in and drove it home cleaner, shinier and prettier than off the dealership lot! Sean is very professional and passionate about what he does and it shows. It's conveniently located at the mall so you can drop your car off, spend a few hours at the mall and pick up your car when you're done. This isn't just a car wash, they clean every nook and cranny and in my case, all my sons cookie crumbs, milk stains and kick marks are all gone. I would recommend this place and won't be taking my car anywhere else. Just a heads up, this isn't one of those places where you pay $35, it's much more than that but sooooo worth it. read more

Disappointed with this place. I came to get a desperately needed detailing at 3pm, when they advertised that they were closing at 6. The place appeared to already be closed, but there was no information given to potential customers in the form of a'closed' or 'out to lunch' sign, that would let us know what was going on. That left me, as well as a few other people, standing around peering through the window, trying to figure out what was going on. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. For a place with such a great location and presentation, it's a pity this aspect of their business is conducted in such an amateur fashion. read more

If you want a top notch professional quality detail, using quality products, look no further. Image does excellent work, and you get what you pay for. You can spend a little less to have a bunch of underpaid workers scratch up your paint job with towels that have been dropped on the ground, or you can go to Image and get it done right. I'd say the choice is pretty obvious if you care about your vehicle... read more

People need to know this before they come to get their car done at Image Auto: It's expensive, but the best service you can get. Shawn and his team know exactly what you want as long as you let them know what you're looking for. If there's anything that you want that is outside out the regular package that they quote you, just tell them, and they will not forget about it. Of course, you pay a little extra for the work you request for, but they never leave a single disappointment behind. I have gone to get my car washed and waxed with these guys more times than I can remember, every time being an experience that exceeded my expectations. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about car care. If you're the type of person who doesn't mind getting swirls or scratches every now and then from an automated car washer for $7, don't come to Image Auto. However, if you're the type who cares about your car's paint and condition, the price you pay Shawn and his team will always be well worth the service they provide. read more
