Update 2: OC Wrap has great customer service and ordered the part needed to fix the mistake on the car and fixed the wrap on the antenna. Will be back. Update 1: No issues with the price estimate or Kelly, she did fine. If we could replace that trim, that would be great, also need some adjustments for the antenna since it's peeling. Will update this once OC Wraps makes the fix. Quick response via Yelp and email. Planned to wrap the roof in black gloss and had the initial estimate of $275. Since the 2018 Acura TLX has a moonroof and antenna, the estimate was changed to $350 with a $50 deposit. Took it in today at 9AM and picked up the car at 5:45PM. Everything looked good in terms of the glass wrap. Maybe a few spots could look better but not a big deal to me. Unfortunately, the trimmings that were removed are loose and the trimmings on the driver side have two bent areas that are an eyesore and I wish it wasn't on the driver side because I have to look at it every day. Not sure if it's something that can be fixed but they should have been a bit more careful to not bend it. Just a bit disappointed at that part. Otherwise, the customer service was great and I really wanted to give more than 3 stars. I just can't do it when the trimmings were bent. read more

I had to go back a couple times because of an issue that was not his fault (shoddy paint work that revealed itself after the ppf was installed on the front bumper) and he always made time for me to swing by and did his best to remedy the situation. A poor overall experience with Luis and his team. I had the front end of my new EV6 wrapped with Suntek PPF. Luis gave me a good quote and took my car in the same day. He promised the vehicle was ready the day after, and he came through. The PPF had a few bubbles but nothing too concerning. He gave me some precautions on the care of the PPF and I was on my way. I went back a few times to resolve some issues with the wrap having some dust particles underneath and they took care of me. Fast forward a few weeks afterwards, I texted Luis for a quote to put PPF on the rest of the vehicle. He gave me another quote via text, and I asked for an install date. No response after that text. I sent him a follow-up text a few days afterwards. Not another peep from him. To make matters worse, dust started to build inside the PPF on various edges. It started to look horrendous and since Luis was not responding to my other communications, I paid another installer to take it off and rewrap. As they were removing the film, they noticed that the emblem on the hood had the retaining pins sheared off; hence why the emblem was lifting and never properly stayed on the hood. Neither Luis nor his team noted this to me. Avoid, avoid, avoid! Learn from my mistake and look elsewhere. read more

This is an update to my last review. Luis's reply is false. It's clear you get defensive against bad reviews. I never had a problem with the price and was fine with it and didn't need a discount. I even paid you full cash because you said it "would help you out." You shouldn't have laid in the car if not doing tinting. I was nice the whole time, we even talked about personal stuff till the end. We looked over the car at the end because we should be allowed to see the job and you should encourage it if you're confident about the job Original: This review is long overdue. I had a poor experience with Luis and his company. I visited Luis just before the lockdown in March 2020 and brought my brand new Tesla Model 3 with 30 miles on it to get the front-end wrapped with PPF clear bra. I told him to take really good care of it, as I'm very OCD with my things and keep everything in perfect shape. In fact, I had not driven the car at all beyond the trip from the dealership to home since I got it in December 2019 until I got it protected in order to avoid rock chips and scratches. He performed the PPF wrap and when I went to pick it up, the back seats were folded down for no reason and the seat belt buckles and latches were caught in between and left impressions in the brand-spankin' new leather. When we lifted up the back seats, there were two puddles of oil on the seats. I did not know what went on back there, if it was bodily fluid or perhaps even the oil from his vape he keeps puffing in front of customers, but he quickly, on-the-spot came up with an excuse and claimed he put down the seats because he was laying in the back, looking up to get a view of the moonroof to see how we wanted to tint the windows. We did not even go for window tinting with him - he was only doing the clear bra. He was impressed with the car when I dropped it off to him, so I mentioned to him jokingly that I hope he does not take the car for a joyride, and he nervously said he would never do that and none of his guys are allowed to and they strictly don't take cars for joyrides with anyone's cars. I did believe him until I noticed there was nearly 10% less range on the battery from the night before to when I picked up the vehicle the following morning. There was also more mileage on the odometer, and when I went to review the dashcam and Sentry Mode footage on my flash drive, the files were all corrupted and the drive no longer worked. I had to throw the flash drive away because it was permanently damaged and would not store footage after that. Not to mention, many of the settings in the car were changed and the car was in a demo mode or valet mode, even though I gave the car in regular, normal mode to him. Nothing needed to change or be fiddled with, as they were only working on the outside of the car and only moving it into the bay to put the wrap on. It was all very disappointing. When asked, he said he wasn't sure what the oil was and tried to wipe it up, but of course the residue was still there. He said the buckle impressions should go away, and it did lessen, but of course it was still there for no reason. He also said he did not drive the car and unsure why my flash drive was corrupt, why the car changed settings, and why there was higher mileage and battery usage from one day of moving the car in the shop and out in the morning. And, to make matters worse, when I brought the car home and examined it in closer detail, there were scratches and marks all along the edges of the rear windshield and a little on the body. When racking my brain thinking how that happened, I remembered he said he goes over the whole car with clay bar to clean it prior to doing the wrap. I guess whoever did it, or maybe it was him, was not careful at all and went over the edges of the body onto the windshield and left marks all over. I took the car to another place for window tinting (thank God) and that company did an unbelievably great job, so much so that I took two more cars to them, and I later learned they do the PPF wrap, as well. They looked at this wrap on the mirrors of the Model 3 and pointed out "snail trails" that occurred due to bad installation from either pressing too hard with the squeegee or waiting too long for the fluid to dry before pressing out the liquid. This other company offered that I come to them next time so I'll eventually get the wrap done again with them. Lastly, I called Luis to ask him for the paperwork on the warranty for the clear bra and he said the shop was closing due to the lockdown so I couldn't come pick it up and that he will email it to me, but of course he did not. I have no faith in Luis, was extremely let down - especially after accentuating my insistence that he take care of my first vehicle purchase and that it was important to me - but he ultimately did not do that. I definitely cannot and will not recommend this place. If you care about the condition of your car, seek services elsewhere. read more

Re submitting this with some minor changes since owner Luis petitioned yelp to remove my review as he couldn't handle the truth on what a terrible job his shop did. Highly dissatisfied with the owner's approach to business and his employee who thought it was ok to talk to his friend the entire time while completing the wrap job on my vehicle while glancing at a photo every other minute while the wrap job was full of mistakes. Bad cuts, wrinkles, air bubbles, and lifting corners (SEE PHOTOS). This establishment is about money and not quality. The young worker that works here tried to get in my face and wanted to get physical about a comment I made towards their up-sell tactics. I stood my ground and watched him shake as I didn't let him bully me. Who does that? How unprofessional. Poor training, poor management of expectations, poor service. I paid 250 for a 2 hour job which was fair to me. Then asked for a couple extra items to be wrapped which took 15 min in total and they wanted to up-sell by 150? Ethically wrong..... I paid the amount and left dissatisfied and will be sure to share my dissatisfaction of this poor experience with fellow shop owners and all the guys in the Euro community. I ASKED THE OWNER LUIS IF HE WOULD RATHER HAVE THE MONEY OR A DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER AND HE SAID "YES". WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ABOUT OC WRAPS. Updating my review because the customer service has gone down. I got my Tahoe wrapped by them almost a year ago and there were some quality issues. I paid extra for ceramic coating but it he only did the hood. I sold my Tahoe and got another car to get wrapped and I messaged Luis to get some pricing but he forwarded me to someone, to reply back to me ( he couldn't even reply back to me through text ) that gave me a ridiculous price. I also asked them to do a chrome delete on my car and the pricing was twice the cost of everyone In the OC. I guess returning customers means shit! There are a lot of other wrap shops and OC wraps has been known to be the most expensive. Sucks to say but there are a few shops in the area ( JDMFV - yelp it ) that will do it for half the cost but over exceed in quality. They did my chrome delete and killed it for less. We had Luis at OC wraps come out and wrap the helm of our boat. The boat is large so we weren't able to take it to his shop to have the work done. Luis came out quickly, reviewed the work and provided an estimate on the spot. His crew was at our facility within a few days and got straight to work. The entire job only took them one day but they came back the following day just to make sure everything was done correctly and there were no issues. Wrapping this section with protective film was no easy task, we only wanted certain areas wrapped and the surface has a lot of bends and notches so it could only be handled by a professional. My 2021 Tesla white on white Model Y was delivered on 5/27 and I've always planned on getting paint protection and heat reducing/UV protecting tint for my new baby after reading countless of input from the Tesla community! While my Model Y is an absolute dream of a car, I'm not gonna lie and say the ride doesn't come with some cons like being known for having a softer clear coat- making it super prone to paint damage from tiny rocks, ice, salt, road debris, and etc.- and a super badass all glass roof that also increases the temp in the cabin. I must have called 8 shops all around the Los Angeles proper area, Pasadena, Burbank and most of them quoted me north of an unspeakable amount of money to get a full front PPF (hood, fenders, bumper, and side mirrors) and ceramic tinting all around (front and back windows, 2 quarter back windows, and trunk window)! Many of them gave me the run around when it came to scheduling an appointment while some of them didn't get back to me at all! OC WRAPS was helpful from the start- Luis was quick to take my information, discuss the work I wanted done, give me options, and write up a quote for me. I took my car in to get the roof wrap removed on a Wednesday and was told the latest it would be done would be Friday. They finished on Friday but called me a few minutes before they closed and told me that someone would come in on Saturday and call me when I could come pick up my car, they didn't call. I finally picked up my car on Monday and found out that they did a terrible job with the wrap removal. They chipped the paint quite a bit and forcefully broke off the roof trims instead of taking them off before working on the wrap removal. Just got my full car wrap back today. It took a total of 6 days. Luis came to the shop on Sunday to take my car in and I got the car back the following Saturday. I was shopping around to see where I can get my car wrapped and a few places didn't assure me of quality work. One owner look like he was high and cocky, and lie about how many locations they actually have. Others gave me too cheap of a quote. I won't say their business names but if you ask Luis who I went to. He would tell you. I first had a color in mind but saw other colors that I also liked. Luis helped me sort out my thoughts and finally i chose a color that I really loved. His opinions were very helpful. The staff was also helpful and honest. One thing I liked that Luis did was, he would answer my texts and phone calls pretty promptly, and if he had a question about a section to wrap, he would call me. I have a 2016 Jaguar F-Type R.
