I have been searching for a small business owner tint shop near by my area and through searching and calling on Yelp, I believe I have found the best tint shop in Orange County. I recently multiple estimates, but Solax gave me better quote than most shops and responded efficiently with great customer service. The owner is very informative, i asked him many different questions on the color of the tint, what he would recommend for my concerns and situation, and he gave me reliable and trustworthy opinions. I went with Ceramic 15% front and 5% all around my Tesla Model Y. It looks beautiful and the work is amazing. Quality of work and efficiency of the work is too notch. Solax was good at explaining the tint options over the phone, offered fair pricing, and was able to get me in the next morning, which I appreciated. I brought in my I4 to have all the windows tinted plus a light tint on the windshield. The shop is tucked away at the end of a driveway, but there is some street signage to help find it. The quoted time for the job was accurate--about 3 hours--and they finished within that window. The tint itself looks good. As smooth as the experience was and as much as I want to give a higher rating, main reason I can only give 3 stars is because ever since the installation, all my windows squeak badly when I roll them down. I've had several cars tinted over the years, and this has never happened before, so I know it's not typical. It may not be that the tint itself is bad but perhaps too thick of a material. Overall, while the pricing, scheduling, and appearance of the tint were solid, the persistent squeaking has been disappointing and keeps me from rating the experience higher. read more

I wanted to get my car ceramic tint and I received a quote from this shop so quickly compared to other shops! His prices were most competitive. The owner was very good at communicating and getting me set up with an appointment quickly. Upon arrival he showed me the examples with the different tint percentages. He was helpful in suggestions, and also pulled out the 40% tint (not on the example) so I could take a look for my windshield immediately after I had hesitated on 50%. I went with 5% in the rear, 15% in the front, and 40% for the windshield. He estimated 2.5 hours, and it took exactly that. I cannot be happier with the turnout! I'm writing this review 3 days later and the tint looks great without any bubbling. Even though it looks dark from the outside, it is very easy to see through from the inside which is amazing. This was the cheapest quote I could find in the area, and it was a you get what you pay for experience. The staff was very nice and helped me figure out what tint levels would be best for my needs, which I really appreciated! They completed it a bit faster than they quoted me, which was nice! The tint application was fine, but they left the car dirty. They left blades and other trash on my floor and the outside of the windows and my car were dirty with some greasy residue that left my towel black when I tried to wipe it off. It came off in a car wash but was difficult to remove otherwise. Solid option if you're looking for an affordable tint and nothing fancy. read more
