No good! They charge so much money for new year eve, we suppose can see the fire worms, but we can't see anything, they put us the table far way back! Just not worth the money at all ! We feel be Cheated ! Trust Me! Don't bother book them for fire works! The food the worst !

One of the great things about Sydney is the endless number of food places there are. The list just goes on and on and on. But the main reason I came here was because they had Kangaroo steak on their menu and that's what I ended up ordering. The verdict, tasty and tender and surprisingly delicious. My boyfriend and I wanted to have a little taste of everything so we ended up sharing it all. It was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was on top, and the view of Sydney Harbour was beautiful. The experience was worth it. I'd definitely come back again. Oh and their calamari....probably the best I've ever had. The outside batter was flaky and the meat was soft and tender. Mmmmm

Stay away from this place Although it's a very turístic area , we had good experiences at other places in this area. NOT here Bad , slow service Surcharge of 10 for two because it was Sunday ( not their fault obviously ) Food was mediocre at best Over cooked burger at 18 Soggy fries Flavorless feta cheese in Greek salad 14 The best part was the streamed brocolini at 12 Go to cyren instead

Wasn't expecting much from this place but on that day it was raining a LOT and thought would eat and have some wine rather then walking in the rain. Food was good, specially TRUFFLE FRIES!!! Stop by enjoy the food and have some nice walk around Darling Harbor

Great place, great location (right on the harbor), excellent service, good wine selection and more importantly, awesome food. We had the Kangaroo skewers and Calamari for appetizer and Rump steak and Sirloin for our entree and they were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Everyone knows NO trip to Australia is complete without seeing some cute little furry kangaroos hopping around. For yours truly, NO trip to Australia would be complete without EATING one of those cute little furry kangaroos. Enter I'm Angus Steak House. Yes, it's located in touristy Darling Harbour BUT the waterfront views while dining al fresco are unparalleled, especially at night. Great people watching too. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/OUIjsQjO_lKM6tsDAktv2A?select=ioHMv2ngU1GIngewWJTKpA#ioHMv2ngU1GIngewWJTKpA) *I'M ANGUS MEAT PLATTER FOR TWO - Kangaroo skewers, Angus sirloin steaks, prime lamb cutlets, chorizo sausages, and pork ribs with chips and dipping sauces. Sort of like the Sydney petting zoo on a platter. The kangaroo, like the rest of the meats, were lightly seasoned (if any) and char-grilled. The 'roo was tender, not overly gamey, lean like venison. The taste was noticeably different from kangaroo I've had stateside. I enjoyed it. The lamb was wildly gamey, loved it. No complaints on the chorizo either. Growing up on American pork ribs, the Aussie version was interesting. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/OUIjsQjO_lKM6tsDAktv2A?select=7z_vprdnEXt4pyaTjb1F-A#7z_vprdnEXt4pyaTjb1F-A) I can understand some of the average reviews, not a lot of value given the price, but tax and gratuities are included. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/OUIjsQjO_lKM6tsDAktv2A?select=7Mat8P_LRYIRJvXVBW9wlg#7Mat8P_LRYIRJvXVBW9wlg) You pay for the atmosphere, location, and menu. Surprisingly, kangaroo isn't an easy find on many Sydney restaurants menus. Solid 3.5 but rounding up since I can check another meat morsel of my foodie bucket list.

I come here every year for special occasions. Each and every single time I've been it's been fantastic and consistent. The views are beautiful of the harbour and the water, and the atmosphere is generally very relaxed and chill. Staff are always friendly and attentive and I've only ever had an issue once, which they quickly resolved. I always order a steak and a wine, and to this day it's still one of the best steak's I've ever eaten. The garlic prawns are also to die for! I look forward to this restaurant every year!

Family dinner at darling harbour FOOD We were all really hungry so bypassed the entrees and went straight for the mains. Prime Angus Sirloin Steak (200g - $32). Kangaroo Fillets ($32.50). Chargrill and Seafood Platter for Two ($110) http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/OUIjsQjO_lKM6tsDAktv2A?select=Qa9Y8aZPlEajFXxlOx8GIg#Qa9Y8aZPlEajFXxlOx8GIg http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/OUIjsQjO_lKM6tsDAktv2A?select=-R5kENxQFXtnWIOgwX5M5w#-R5kENxQFXtnWIOgwX5M5w http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/OUIjsQjO_lKM6tsDAktv2A?select=IZR9mfpkae02WBvhBxQFTA#IZR9mfpkae02WBvhBxQFTA Tried a bit of the steak and kangaroo. The steak was pretty ordinary. Had to dip it in the mushroom sauce so it would have at least some taste to it. Kangaroo was nice and tender though and didn't have that strong of a game taste. The platter had mini fillet mignons, chargrilled kangaroo, chorizo sausages, lamb cutlets, butterflied giant king prawns, freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters, baby calamari and fried fish. Extremely filling for two people. Seafood was nicer than the chargrill but to my surprise I enjoyed the chorizo the most as it was the most flavoursome. SERVICE Even though we got there just before 9 it was busy and crazy as ever. Had to wait at the entrance for a good 5mins before being acknowledged by someone let alone seated. Saw some cutlery being dropped by one of the waitstaff who was too in a rush to serve his tables that another guy had to clean up the mess. With all this craziness going on I thought we might need to wait awhile for our food but luckily it arrived in about 15-20mins. OVERALL I love the Darling Harbour area and taking a nice stroll by the water. If only the restaurants around here could match though.

I preface this review by stating I'm a vegetarian but I was invited to Angus for a birthday - hence my review. For starters I had - Tempura Vegetables ($18.00) Asparagus, Zucchini, Sweet Potato and Capsicum with a Grain Mustard Mayonnaise which was the only vegeterian option in the entrees - it was okay but not worth 18 bucks.... ' Next after I made my way past the menu page that showed a cow split into section (that was enough to make me ill) i had to decide on a main...the best main vegeterian dish I could find was NOTHING!!! Nothing for veggie eaters.... My main mean consisted of a few sides Stir-Fried Vegetables ($11.50_ Sauteed Mushrooms ($6.50) and onion rings ( $6.50) People who know me who have read my reviews know that I'm not anti- people eating me....I just don't like restaurants that think that only people who eat meat will frequent them - and YES - I KNOW ITS A STEAKHOUSE....but it was my friends birthday of course i was going to go.... and I'm sure i'm not the first person thats happened to.

Had an amazing dinner here last night! Staff was so welcoming and our waitress gave great customer service. The espresso martini was probably the best I've ever had. My sirloin was perfectly cooked and super moist and tasty! Perfect for a date night out. Thanks again!

Hey Angus, it's nice to 'meat' you (get it?!). Haha, okay sorry for being stupid. But in all honesty, I don't think Angus and I will become friends. I try to avoid Darling Harbor at all costs. In my humble opinion, it is too touristy and has no character. In fact, it reminds me of soulless development you may find in cities Orlando, where culture is fabricated. The reason I went to I'm Angus was simply that I wanted steak. The outside of the restaurant is actually beautiful, with dense ivy cloaking the entrance. Its interior is clean and hip, but nothing distinctly unique about it. The menu is pretty cool, as it features a diagram of a cow and shows you which steak comes from which part of the animal. Below, it describes the different cooking temperatures that you can have your steak, from blue to well done. I ordered a sirloin steak medium rare, which actually came out medium. It was a 300 gram steak that set me back $37.50, a price much too high for my sirloin. All the other steaks hover around $30 to $40. I saw a table that ordered the ribs, which looked great. I still thought it was overpriced at $44 for a full rack. Maybe I'm a bit frustrated because in the US I can find identical meats for half the price, but neither the food nor the service at I'm Angus was anything to write home about.

Being close to where I used to work, I'd frequent this place quite a bit, and before it was a PJs it was a mates fave city pub so we'd catch up over a few here from time to time. There's a pretty good mix of people in the street-level bar, and PJs have converted it into more of a sports bar so there are plenty of screens for the sports nuts to check out their favourite teams prospects. PJs typically have pretty good fare. In winter they have two absolute cracking dishes. The Guiness Pie with mushy peas, and their signature lamb shanks which is totally unctuous. Why such a modest score? Price kills the place. It's not one of the cheaper places to get a beer as someone incorrectly states in their tips, it's easily one of the most expensive places to get a beer. You're paying over the top prices for domestic tap beer. A cheap beer is $5 for a Coopers Pale Ale, which you can get on the same street about 200m up the road... Also... As much as I enjoy a good pokie section, this one ain't good. And by that I mean the clientelle. It brings in the undesireable types, and sours what is otherwise a sweet pub. The snug, the downstairs den, has a great looking bar, and "snug" seating, but it's kinda pointless down there. It doesn't feel snug, it feels stuffy and claustrophobic - and the bar has never been manned when I've been down there. Now, if they moved the pokies to the snug, and then opened up the entire bar at the street-level to include the room vacated by the pokie section, you'd have something. But why would they do that when they can get by with what they have.

The food is carefully prepared and you can tell the produce is quality and they've cooked it properly which some pubs sometimes struggle to do consistently... The chips were the standout side, crisp and crunchy! Definitely will be trying the stew or pie, that is if I'm brave enough to.
