This review was long overdue from last year! If I could give 6 stars I would. She was so flexible with her schedule and accommodating. I came to her because I wanted do my lashes for my wedding and I wanted to stick to local. Although I was hesitant at 1st she made me feel so welcomed. She educated me on what to expect, sizing, and how to care for them. The whole process was about an hour and made me feel so relaxed. She asked me if the music she was playing was okay and I even feel asleep. It wasnt as scary as I thought I'd be. She even walked me to the bathroom mid- procedure! She was kind and helpful the whole time. I brought my mom here days before the wedding because I loved my look so much and my mom loved the look that's she couldn't stop staring at herself afterwards. Lashes were beautiful. Workmanship ship is excellent for those who LOVE super long doll like lashes. Trust it looks amazing on other girls but I don't think it looks good on me(I realized). As a first time client for eyelash extensions, customer service was horrible (Note: I have never gotten eye lash extensions before so I was nervous and didn't know what to expect). I told her I have never gotten them before, so she knew but I guess she assumed I knew what I wanted when I said "I just want a natural look". I guess her type of natural is not my type of natural. I wish she would have taken the time to really show me different options. I felt rushed with telling her what I wanted so she can just get to work. I would get into every single detail about what happened but honestly my experience was so bad I never wish to get eyelash extension again. If you would like to know exactly what happened you can message me and I will share. Warning: Do not express to her that you do not feel comfortable in your eyelash extensions and want the overall look reduced. She will take it personal, think you are rude and cut you off from talking. She was so sweet, social and everything until I contacted her the next day about my lashes and how I just wasn't feeling like ME, wasn't feeling comfortable and wanted them off or reduced. I wasn't sure what options I had but just really wanted her to help. I was nervous and scared to contact her because I didn't want her to feel like she did not do a good job. I wanted to see what she could do to help me feel more comfortable in them. Turns out I was right and her opinion mattered, not mine. Rosalind was amazing! I had a wonderful experience getting my first lash extensions done. I was originally scheduled with someone else and they canceled on me that morning and I was hoping to get them done before I left the country for a wedding. She squeezed me in and made the experience memorable. She did a beautiful job on my lashes. They looked beautiful but very natural as well. The lashes were weightless and not at all what I expected. I am on my third week and, while thinned, they have lasted longer than I thought. She is very knowledgeable as well and gave me the full run down on everything I needed to care for my lashes which made the whole process that much more comfortable. First and last time here. I used to go to another location that was like 45 min away from home. I went for a year and wanted to find a spot way closer. I come here. The whole experience was bad. Don't get me wrong, the lady was super nice. It was just how she did everything that I didn't like. Because I had been going to another location for a whole year, I knew how I wanted my lashes. 100% mink, cat eye style. On the natural side. I tell her that and she gives me a whole thing on how that's not natural and the way she does it is one small, one larger one. All different sizes and that's her natural look. We look at pictures and I ask about what those clients got...she says natural. By this time we've talked about it for 10min, we don't seem to be going anywhere. And it seems she only wants to do the style she knows how to do. I stop trying to keep at it, so I let it be and let her do natural. Cause in those pics, they look nice. She did not make me feel confident in the look that I was getting. But figured, whatever I'm sure she knows what she's doing. They'll be fine. So now the process. She tapes my lower lashes pretty harshly. Again, I've had my lashes done many times before, and this time the tape she put...felt more like scotch tape. Idk if that's what it was, but definitely how it felt like. While doing my lashes, I feel my eyes burn a little. She pinches me a couple of times. She's kinda pulling on my skin and head when she's getting and angle. And I just didn't appreciate that. For the last hour, I just laid there wanting it to be over. She took the tape off. And it came off pretty harshly. Pulled on my skin. I got home and looked at my eyes...both of them are super red. Today is day 2 of having the lashes on and they are still really red. I understand sometimes it happens. They're working on your eyes. But I will say again, I've had them done many many times and never were they this red for this long. With my original location, I've had once a red eye. Just one eye, more like pink, but it went it way the next day. So I feel like it had to be in the way she took care of my eyes. The lashes themselves are okay. I don't love them, but they're okay. Just the whole experience brings it down big time. After these come off I am making the drive to my original place. Update: After posting this review, the owner has texted me confronting me about it. It is so unprofessional. Again, will happily take my business elsewhere. read more
