It took me awhile to use the certificate but I finally did last week and I wish I would have done it sooner! Amber was very nice, easy to talk to, accommodating and beyond talented! I went in with damaged hair from a boxed bleach job that left patches of dark hair throughout and over a year of roots. Amber suggested adding some highlights and lowlights in order to blend my roots into the bleached ends and she topped it off by trimming my split ends and styling my hair to perfection. I couldn't be happier! Everyone that has seen me loves the new look as well. The vibe at the shop was cute and laid back. Perfect for Park Circle. I will definitely be returning the next time I need my hair done. I've actually already spoken to Amber about doing a Brazilian blowout next. Highly recommend this salon.

I had my haircut with Sara, and she was so sweet and incredibly talented. I explained what I was hoping to achieve, and she took the time to offer her input based on my hair type and daily routine, which is something I really value in a stylist. She listened to what I wanted while also making thoughtful recommendations that worked for me. I left so happy with my haircut and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment with Sara!

Unfortunately, the final result did not reflect what was promised. I expressed my concerns immediately. Although I returned for a complimentary correction the following day and spent several hours at the salon, the outcome remained unacceptable. I requested a refund due to misrepresentation and unsatisfactory results. The salon refused, citing a strict "no refunds" policy, even though the service did not match what had been represented to me beforehand. I have time-stamped photos and video taken at and immediately after my appointment documenting the condition of my hair. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before booking. If you value clear communication, accountability, and results that match what is promised, I would advise proceeding with caution.

In response to the negative review I received below: I apologize for any inconvenience, as I was only trying to be helpful! The consultation was scheduled online a few days prior, and I noticed the day of that it was squeezed in a very tight spot. Of course, I have her the option to come in, however, social media has certainly impacted and changed the way we consult. I do thorough consultations in person, but we also do them over the phone, which we thought saved people time. I understand not everyone will want to do it that way, and I didn't mean to make her feel like I didn't want to consult in person. These days, it seems like everyone is so busy, so often, we narrow things down over the phone. We ask the following: 1) What days/time is best for you? How soon would you need/like to have services performed? This helps us see if we would be available, in the first place. I usually have about 4-5 weeks wait time, so a lot of people do not want to wait. 2)3-5 year hair history- this helps us know what to expect, and how much time we need. 3) Budget- we want to make sure we are in your price range. Usually, by answering three quick questions, we can see if we are a good match for your schedule, budget, and lifestyle. If not, we have 7 other stylists who might be! Anyway, I never meant to be unprofessional, just simply a new way of consulting. I now realize, that isn't for everyone. I believe this nice woman wanted a Botox hair treatment, like she received in Miami. I could be wrong, as I talk to a lot of guests. I don't offer that service, as well. This is the first negative review I've ever received (in 16 years!) I definitely learned a few things, and I will do my best to remain professional at all times.
