I had the displeasure of working with Steve Crossland both as a tenant and then we decided to buy…read morethe home we rented so as a buyer as well. Both experiences were rather unpleasant and I would recommend using anyone else for realty services. As a tenant Steve is extremely passive aggressive to a childish degree and trying to request any maintenance work the few times we did in the two years we rented was always a hassle and an ordeal. He was so unpleasant to talk to I avoided it most of the two years we rented and luckily only had to do so a few times. During the buying process our realtors worked with him and through him the buyer and we had several delays due to him not getting paperwork ready in time and they complained to us several times how unhelpful he was during this process. They had worked with him before but never had the issues with communication and gettings things in on time like they did during our process.

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile, as I had such a horrible experience with Steve…read moreas a renter. Similar to other reviewers, I've never been so disrespected. Steve is extremely rude, was extremely difficult to work with, was very belittling, and mansplained to me the role of a property manager when I have myself owned and rented out a house before. He tricked me into thinking that he was the kind of property manager that cares about working with people and their circumstances, which was one of the reasons I chose that house. He was very hard to work with when I had to relocate home to Colorado for a few months for brain surgery (and what I was asking was not a lot, not even to end the lease.) When the lease was over, I reached out for a scanned copy of the deposit check and he never got back to me. When I followed up over a week later to ask more sternly for the copy I was entitled to, he presumptuously assumed I was asking because of roommate issues and told me to leave him out of it. He was belittling, presumptuous, rude, and unprofessional. And this is on top of his general lack of help with maintenance requests and overall unhelpful attitude with inquiries over the 2 years renting from him. I'm praying he doesn't respond to this review and attempt to gaslight me or justify his poor behavior as he's done with other reviewers here. Do not rent from him if you want to be treated respectfully or professionally.

I strongly disagree with multiple statements in your response, as they do not align with the…read moredocumented communication and records I have on file. Concerns I raised during the move-out process were not properly addressed in real time, and key issues were only responded to after escalation and public feedback. The explanation provided here continues to reflect inconsistencies in both the timeline and the justification for certain charges. While you state that all deductions were supported, I maintain that the process lacked transparency and consistency, which is exactly what my review reflects. The account being marked "settled" does not erase the unresolved issues that occurred during the tenancy and move-out process. I stand by my review based on my documented experience.

We noticed him extremely experienced and conscientious and decided to work with him to represent us for other properties we were interested. Brandon was not only responsible, diligent, and efficient, but also had great expertise in house architecture and house structure. At one point we were interested in buying rather old house and then remodel ourselves. Brandon was experienced and provided detailed assessment on housing conditions for both interior and exterior side of the house, as well as estimated renovation cost and resell value. He helped us rule out quite a few houses that were overpriced and had subtle defects which we wouldn't have found out otherwise. He fully digested our house buying request and gave us recommendations accordingly. We ended up buying a rather newly built house that came out during COVID. The house met all our requirements and was pretty ideal for us in terms of location, style, and pricing. We really appreciate his diligence, expertise, and integrity. But for his hard work, we wouldn't have successfully purchased our dream house.
