So amazing I went two nights in a row! What a fantastic restaurant. Connected to Farm Bar, it uses locally sourced food, pasta made in house, and wow... what a delight. The service was attentive but relaxed so we felt perfectly comfortable having conversation and eating. Wonderful place. Definitely give it a try. And even though it's downtown, parking is easy because the Arvest parking garage is right across the street and patrons can park there after banking hours.

Best Italian restaurant in Tulsa! The new remodel is amazing - love the new bar, it is adorable!! For dinner I had the roasted rainbow trout dish and I licked my place clean, it was that good!! I ordered the zucca sour drink and my tastebuds were blown away by how amazing it was. For dessert, I ordered the best chocolate cake, ever! Give that pastry chef a raise!! Everything Linda and Lisa touch is gold and I'll never stop praising their places - they make incredibly delicious food! Run, don't walk here!

We've been hearing the buzz about Il Seme. We made reservations for four for a New Year's Eve dinner there. The restaurant was completely full and is an upscale vibe. It has a well deserved reputation for excellent tasting and beautifully prepared foods using locally sourced ingredients. We feel that prices for cocktails and food is slightly north of moderate but not outrageous. As they say, you get what you pay for. For starters we ordered the SESAME SEED FOCACCIA WITH BALSAMIC BUTTER 4PCS. The balsamic taste in the butter was present but not overwhelming and the focaccia was really good. We quickly devoured the four pieces and wish there was more of it. For my entrée I ordered the FETTUCCINE WITH BF FARMS BRAISED BEEF RAGU, FRIED ROSEMARY, AND GRANA PADANO. Wow, this was just fantastic. The house made fettuccine was cooked perfectly and the serving was generous. The braised beef Ragu had an excellent flavor which complimented the fettuccine perfectly. It was topped with a smattering of fried rosemary which gave the dish a wonderful sensory experience in the nose and in the mouth. For dessert we ordered the TIRAMISU WITH AMARETTO, LOCAL CREAM, & COCOA and the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE, AMARENA CHERRIES, WHIPPED CREAM, AND COCOA CRUMBLE. Both desserts were outstanding but my favorite was the chocolate mousse. The Amarena cherries buried within eeso good. And overall it was just a taste explosion in the mouth. Even though the restaurant was very busy on New Year's Eve, we felt the service was very good. We didn't feel rushed and it was an extremely relaxing evening. We can't wait to visit il Seme again.

My husband and I decided to try il Seme for a romantic date night and enjoyed our experience. We started with the fried olives and the Focaccia bread. We loved the bread but the fried olives were just okay. We each had a couple glasses of wine but weren't overly impressed with the taste and quality. Our favorite part of our meal was the pasta. I had the Red Pepper Cavatelli and the Gnocchi. The pasta had amazing texture and flavor. We would definitely come back for just the pasta alone! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and seemed to be passionate about the food and drinks they serve.

Great food and great ambiance. The drinks were amazing and the espresso martinis are great. Just fyi it does have a cherry at the bottom of the drink. Great pasta and great focaccia. Would def revisit

We started off with the amazing bread and an undescribable butter. The deep-fried olive appetizer was absolutely amazing. The Caesar salad had a unique twist to it, and we un characteristically decided to have the spaghetti and meatballs, which is something I would never order and it was fantastic.

My husband and I decided to try this place since it was recommended by the restaurant Farm Bar (which we loved). We gave them a try and in all honesty, it was just OKAY. We started with wine & the fried olives and they were good but the olives need a dipping sauce. Next we each ordered a pasta dish. My husband's linguine with rock shrimp was better than my pesto pasta. The pesto was good but there was no source of protein. The service was mediocre. Our waitress seemed annoyed by our presence. She even rolled her eyes when we said we weren't ready to order (we had only been there 15 mins and were trying to enjoy our culinary experience- which we had a reservation for). Also, you fill up your own water glass (take that how you wish). Ambience was good. Restaurant was quiet but not so quiet you felt people were listening to your conversation. We probably won't be back.

My wife and I tried il Seme for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere and staff were very nice. We started off with the Fried Olives and Arancini. I would go back just to get the Fried Olives again, they were awesome. My wife got gnocchi and I got the fettuccine, which was similar to a bolognese. My wife loved hers and mine was good as well. We will definitely be back!

Great service, amazing food, prices a little high, and ambiance could use improvement. With that being said, we enjoyed the food and our service was great. I know it's Farm to table but I feel like they could come down $3-4 on each side dish and pasta dishes at least. However, the noise level was our real disappointment. It's loud and can be packed full and seating is a little close. Normally I'd have pictures of every dish but the lady next to me was a little too close and I felt like she kept looking over at us as it was.

This is one of Tulsa's best kept secrets. Everything we have eaten here is great. This is a regular for us and hope others give it a try.

Manager said they included their top sellers for ease and to better serve their customers (mind you with a much higher price point than we were prepared for & we're repeat customers). We understood the reason for it.. just would've been nice to know in advance, as we had our hearts set on other dishes. Unfortunately we experienced terrible service. We ordered a bottle of wine and our 2 entrees: Seafood carbonara & the halibut which was a bit dry and mashed potatoes were cold. As soon as we ordered we never saw her again, except to hunt her down for our check. She never came to ask how our meal was after it was delivered, nor did she come by to fill our wine (like has always happened in the past). Never came to even ask if we wanted dessert. Just AWFUL service!! She even brought us the wrong check. Thank goodness we caught it, as it was double the price of ours. We felt like we were taken advantage of... forced to pay a much steeper price for a very limited menu and then not getting the fine dining service we've experienced in past visits. Restaurant was playing Aerosmith loud & did not go with the restaurants ambience at all. I will add that we came for Valentines Day last year & there was not a limited menu then, so just would've been nice to know of this change so we could have reviewed the menu. Their regular menu has a ton of entree options. This limited menu had like 6-8 & all very high priced. Unfortunately they got one over on us, but fortunately it won't be happening again, as we'll never return.

After waiting well past the quoted time, we continued to sit and wait with no update. At 48 minutes after placing the order, I finally called again. We were put on hold for several minutes, then told they'd bring it right out. When the food finally came, the explanation was vague, something about the takeout staff shifting to another task, which only made me wonder how long the food had actually been sitting there. The takeaway here: if your pickup time has passed, don't assume they're still working on it, call and check. Being overly patient may just mean you end up bringing home cold food. Disappointing experience, especially given the price and the simple expectation of timely pickup service.
