Tiramisu

Very nice waitress! The ambiance is very nice and dark/dim and I love it. The food is quite amazing! I had the chicken rotisserie and it was very crispy and tasty, tasted better with their cucumber wasabi sauce. The entree I ate was the "penne pasta with italian sausage" I loved it a lot. Place isn't too fancy which is fine but the food is up there on the fancy level.

Sit down Italian places in SOMD are boutique. It's my opinion that's the case with this restaurant. Im not sure why you have to put a credit card down to make a reservation, I don't see the demand to support this practice in this locale. This isn't DC or Annapolis. Service: good overall. Well attended from seating through service and departure. Ambiance: good. We went for early dinner under a reservation. Nice tables and decor. Food: decent. My problem was trying to substitute something on my order and that seemed verboten. My recommendation to the owners are substitutes are easy. Don't be so stuck on your menu. Meatballs were good. Bread was good. Overall ok. So what pricey. Give it a shot.

Nice Italian meal with family. Great garlic bread and large portions of the traditional Italian classics. Also the waiter was enthusiastic and went out of his way to make sure one of our guests who is a picky eater got to choose something that he was comfortable with

This place deserves more recognition! We had such a good experience last night & can't wait to come back. Service was great, food was delicious & the place was beautiful inside. The rigatoni was perfection, same with the Caesar salad - to die for! The carbonara was a little too oily, but still really good flavor! And the meatballs definitely had some sort of sausage in them, which I was not expecting. But they were still really good! Cannot wait to come back!

Patio seating, Special of the night Tuscan Seafood Pasta, Catch of the day and Chardonnay

We were greeted and guided to our table right away. The outdoor setting is spacious and comfortable. The young server was very courteous and explained their specials of the night well. We ordered the special Tuscan Seafood pasta and Catch of the day. The food came quickly. The pasta had plenty of clams, mussels and crab meat on top! I was very pleased that it was nice and hot. I found that a lot of restaurants serve food luke warm, but their dishes were nice and hot! Everything exceeded our expectations. We will go back there soon

This new addition to the Southern Maryland restaurant scene is very welcome. The interior, the food and the service are above average with just a few burbles you might expect from a new venture. Our party of four with a reservation (not the time we wanted but we took what was offered) arrived on time but the table was not ready. As there is no waiting area we had to return to the car to await a call from the staff. That took about ten minutes and then we could enter. There is seating for about 30 spread between booths, two tops and four tops with a small bar that maybe seats 6-8. The interior is pleasant and bright with some relaxing music piped in. Our booth was comfortable but a little tight for four adults, and there is no where to hang a coat. Our server was friendly, Knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful The linen napkins are a nice touch as is the crystal glassware. A QR code menu is available or they will bring a paper version. The menu is quite small (a play on the name of the restaurant, maybe?) but should have something for every taste. We ordered the arroncini app and the fried calamari and smelts. Both good - the smelt reminded me of bocarones I've had in Spain. Main courses were the shrimp with linguini, a special of scallops with a small steak, lasagna and the seafood stew. We were disappointed that several minutes later the staff informed us there was no stew that night, so a replacement of melanzane was ordered. Everyone was happy with their choice. Prices for entrees ranged from about $16 to $39 for the special. The tiramisu was the hit of the night. Bathrooms were sparkling clean and all covid regs were being followed. This is a solid place and we hope they succeed.

Now let's talk about the star of the night: the veal carbonara with the freshly made bread in house, hands down the best I've ever had. The veal was incredibly tender, the sauce silky and rich without being heavy, and the balance of flavors was spot‑on. It's the kind of dish that stops conversation for a moment because you just need to appreciate how good it is. Between the exceptional service and a carbonara that sets a new standard, this place has earned a permanent spot on my favorites list. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Italian cooking done at the highest level.

My husband got chicken Marsala, again no flavor at all. The best thing we ate there was the Caesar side salad. Meatballs were so-so, wings no different than what you can find anywhere else. Don't know why everybody was so upset at the thought of this place closing because Olive Garden tastes way better. $140.00 of buyers remorse!

However, yesterday we were extremely intentional about wanting a sit down dining experience somewhere in Leonardtown that we haven't been. We happened up on Sweet Bay. My husband made mention that a coworker of his said the food was really good here (he's formally in the restaurant industry so we trusted his opinion). Upon arrival we asked for a table for two but nothing was available. We were offered bar seating-which we accepted. Now to know me is to know while I enjoy a good cocktail, for me, sitting at the bar is never my first choice. The seating at the bar can be a bit uncomfortable; especially for the experience that we come to have. And when it's a new place we're trying, we like to run the full gamut-appetizers, mains, cocktails, and sometimes even dessert. We were really looking forward to a full dining experience here, and that would mean sitting here for a while, but we wanted to try the food out so we still decided to dine in. We were greeted by the bartender..his name is Josh. He was attentive without being overly so, he made great recommendations and he was really personable and commanded that bar. He explained the specials and he really was in tune with patron's needs. We started off with two appetizers-the oysters cargot and the spicy shrimp and my husband got the cream of crab soup. While they were all great, for me, the soup could benefit from some seasoning; specifically salt and maybe chive and/or even a sprinkle of old bay atop. The soup was creamy and rich and the sweetness of the crab definitely came through, but one or all of those additions would have elevated the soup. The only other ask I would have is that same bread that's served with the soup, be served with those oysters. I snagged some of my husband's bread and dipped it in the sauce that houses the oysters and it was a perfect bite and accompaniment to that dish. For our mains, my husband chose the special which was short ribs and a couple sides that came with that and I chose the Faroe Island salmon that came with pineapple, salsa, and cilantro lime rice. Both of our meals were fantastic-tens across the boards...wouldn't change a thing. The food was flavorful, cooked to perfection and well proportioned. We were so thoroughly impressed with this meal and while we normally wouldn't opt for dessert, we did-well my husband heard key lime pie and that was all it took. I of course take a couple of bites and can say with confidence it was probably the best Keylime pie that I have ever had...and I'm not the Keylime pie lover in the relationship, my husband is-but it left me in awe, and he loved it as well. I liked it so much that I got one to go for my mom, another Keylime pie lover, because I knew she would just love it. Spoiler alert, she did! Besides the food we opted for water and I enjoyed the strawberry spark cocktail I think it was called and a Long Island iced tea-both of those were executed flawlessly as well. Josh is great at what he does. All of the staff was friendly. The environment was cozy and intimate, and was reminiscent of the five dining experiences we have in Georgetown, downtown Bethesda and the like. It was such a great space. I am so happy we came in and we cannot wait to do it again. I would even sit at the bar again to chop it up with Josh!

Food was great. Not loud with tvs and chatter. Above my…read morenormal budget but for a special occasion, yes!
