Everything so far has been presented and tasted amazing. All fresh bread, healthy /gluten free options and some unhealthy but who cares home made cakes. On my last visit I couldn't resist the warm chocolate fudge brownie with fresh cream on the side. This was after having a tapas style lunch( a chefs special that day). I was here recently for a chin-wag with an old friend and we enjoyed our 90 minutes or so in the bright, bustling surroundings. We each had a cappuccino and a scone. The cappuccino was decent. Not too milky - just how like it. The scone was a wee bit dry but good all the same, served with cream and jam -my favourite! The staff were lovely, very friendly having chats with customers (everybody knows everybody so of course they are!) and just being generally smiley, which makes the cafe quite cheerful.

The 'toast' was in actual fact slightly warm bread and the avo spread on it turned it into mush. The salmon was delicious, however the two fried eggs on top were entirely overcooked. Half the yolk was hard and burnt while the other half was runny and cold. On top was sprinkled some dry rocket leaves: no dressing, no salt and pepper on the tables, not even a slice of lemon on the side. I was so disappointed. And what was more scandalous was that this dish cost €8.95! Avoid.

The staff are warm and engaging and easy to chat with. It is small and all the seating that they have is outdoor so it's more somewhere you would go to for something on the go. They've done a lot with the small space they have and have the Italy/NYC vibe down in terms of their decor and branding. In terms of food I would recommend the pizzas and the toasties. They run promos like toasty Tuesday's where all toasties on Tuesday are a fiver. Ding dong!
