I don't remember the last time I sat down to write a review of a restaurant, but I want to try and help others avoid the experience I did in such a beautiful city and so many options for restaurants. I was wandering the streets of Prague for awhile hungry and looking for a place to sit down and do some vacation research. I was feeling a little apprehensive picking a restaurant in a city where I didn't know the language and was alone, but I popped in here because it wasn't busy and it was quiet so I felt like I could sit for awhile and pull out my laptop. The bottom line is that the staff was horrible. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. I tried asking a question about one of the wines, wanting to know what it was similar to, and he talked to me like I was an idiot and said it wasn't like anything, it was just wine. I tried to use the restroom and when I asked where it was located, the woman working behind the bar looked directly at me, scowled and turned around. At a time when I was already feeling a little nervous and anxious, this really just put a huge damper on my night. I passed by hundreds of beautiful restaurants before I stopped here. I hope no one else wastes a meal in this city at Il Mulino. read more
