My self and boyfriend were ravenous after walking hours in Prague and walked past here and thought lets try it for a late lunch. We surely had worked up an appetite! its a little bit more private, set back a bit so we couldn't see the passing flow of tourists. We really loved this place. Do not get me wrong, it is not the fanciest place with views, compared to some others in Prague, but, if u want to get a decent size, inexpensive relaxed bit of Italian away from the eye view, its perfecto. I had the bright green pesto risotto with Spinach which was unusual as I have ever had pesto in Risotto before, with the parmigiana flaked on top melting in my mouth was a tasty treat. My boyfriend had the cheesy gnocchi which was lathered in the cheesy sauce which oozed out with every bite of gnocchi. I would of prefered something added to the sauce personally but the sides of garlic bread and salad revved it up. As I said on the side we had some garlic flat bread and ordered a delicious summer roasted goats cheese (big portion) salad with tangy sundried tomato salad to share. Washed down of course with Starapromen beer! The food was tasty, portion size generous, cheap cold refreshing beer, great price for what we had. The place was clean, bathroom clean. We felt very comfortable and welcome there. Sat outside in the cool sunshine with shady area was just what we needed. The service was great. Spot on. Relaxed friendly waiter. Would absolutely recommend. read more
