This is my husband and mine's favourite restaurant in dresden so far. The servers are straight…read moreforward and don't waste your time being fake nice just to get a tip. They are from Italy and since I've been there twice, this is the way things also work when you're in a restaurant there. Don't mistake it as unkind. Its pure Italian and the food is always great, which brings us back. Anyone I've recommended it to has been back more than once.

Our first experience since having been in Germany for a week where we didn't feel alienated for not being able to speak German beyond the basics. He immediately brought over English menus without us asking and was happy to speak in English with us. Beyond that, the food is delicious and it's the first place I've been to where I thought to myself "I want to go back!" I ordered a spritz, Caesar salad, and bolognese. The salad was large enough for me to share with 2 others. And I am currently eating my bolognese takeaway the day after. It's so good it inspired me to leave a positive review.
