A basket of crusty bread was taken to our table. I asked twice for butter and had to wait awhile for it but it was worth the wait. The restaurant was decorated with a modern flair. We are not wine drinkers but there is a good assortment of wines there. In America, we are used to good service from waitstaff at higher end restaurants like this. In Italy, it's different. Turns out it's a steakhouse and as you'll see in the photos I'm about to post this was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is excellent, everything spotless, and they're incredibly generous with every dish they bring out. Well, we'd heard a thing or two about the Italian's pizza expertise, so we went for it, our first -- and one of the most memorable -- pizza sessions of our stay, on or off the mainland. This is just my take, but seems to me most Italian restaurants get the whole Napolitan recipe right. The secret to marvelous pie is forking into the whole thing as soon as it comes outta the oven, like, as close to burn-your-tongue as possible.
