It's always an adventure going to IKEA. I love wandering through all the little staged rooms and imagining new possibilities for my own space. And of course, lunch is a must--always delicious. After that, we made our way downstairs, where I picked up a couple of cozy rugs, a sleek saucepan with a lid, some lingonberry jelly, and a few other goodies I couldn't resist. All in all, an IKEA day is a good day. :)

We stop in regularly to check the clearance section near the check out registers. We've purchased a nice selection of kitchen cabinets on clearance & have outfitted our kitchen with them. They're a great deal even though you have to buy the shelves & doors separately. On this trip, we found a cute little butcher block table on wheels with a handy drawer & shelves for only $65. It's always fun to hunt for deals here.

You can be in here for hours. They offer so many different things that you can decorate your entire house with IKEA. I was actually able to get spatulas for under a dollar. I was excited. The downfall is the furniture you have to put together yourself. I still bought it though. They even have a restaurant for you to grab a bite to eat.

Shopping experience was amazing. No employees chasing me or trying to kill me. Food court could be better with the kids area so that kids are not screaming and crying. DJUNGLESKOG is amazing.

We were looking for new chairs for our living room and chose to come to IKEA because we new they would have a great selection. The only problem is t took us a while to make a choice because we were stuck between 3 options. If you are coming here, make sure you set aside a couple hours because there is no easy way to get through the whole store. It is set up almost like a maze so there is no good way to get to the section you are looking for without walking through everything else. The prices are good for the quality of products you get. We also picked chairs that barely needed any assembly.

A great place to shop for home furnishings and accessories. It's different in that they actually have little model rooms set up to serve as examples and inspiration. For this reason, it can be a great place just to walk through for ideas, even if you don't intend to buy anything. My favorite part of the store is on the first floor where all the smaller kitchen gadgets and accessories are. I've gotten many of my kitchen staples from this section. The prices are very affordable for such food quality products

    Ask the Community - IKEA

Is there a motorized shopping cart? Handicapped?

No. And it makes it low key miserable.

Do they have a local phone number? The 888 number hangs up on me. Website says 115 in stock for the desk I want but 3 IKEAs closer to me have 0 in stock. Would like to call to confirm before driving 2 hours one way.

You should be able to order the item online and have it delivered to your local store or this location. Then you just show up and pick it up at the store. And I don't think you will have to pay for shipping.

What are free breakfast hours at West Chester store?

Any meal is free as long as you spend $100 in the marketplace store, then they'll take your receipt off of your total

They have super cute items! If you are looking to brighten up your home or wanting to swap out some items for more of a seasonal look, you have to check out HomeGoods! Also-- The Mason location is situated right next to TJ Maxx and CityBird: it's a win, win!! The staff here at the Mason location was overly helpful. They were full of smiles and a willingness to help. One time, I was buying a picture that had a little mark on it. One of the staff members grabbed out a magic eraser and helped me try to remove it before I purchased it. Today, I was offered a tape measure to see if the dimensions would fit for something for my bedroom. Nowadays, I feel like everyone is short staffed, but HomeGoods was not. Everyone was helpful and super kind! There were people working the floor, as well as several women working the registers. I saw lots of people who were checking out the store on their lunch break, and I cannot think of a better idea! I left feeling hopeful in humanity once again, as well as with a few items to brighten up my house!

Neither did I until they advertised their outrageous Earth Day sale, which was held in a West Chester warehouse this past weekend. Don't worry, they'll be offering sales in the future, so you'll have more opportunities to stock up on yoga gear and other health and wellness items. The outlet is pretty confusing to find, so be sure to call or email them first for the most accurate directions. On my recent visit, I found that my directions took me to the outlets former location so I needed further assistance for an employee who happened by in order to find the right spot. So here's the dish on the deals. You'll find yoga mats, blocks, straps, clothing, DVDs, vegan shoes, massage accessories, home furnishing, green cleaning products, organic cotton sheets, and much, much more--all reduced well below their retail price. I bought a "Yoga for weight-loss" DVD box set with illustrated instructional guide for only $8. That's 70% off the retail price. The items are reduced because they are surplus, irregular, or seconds from mail order catalogs. As much as really loved this swap-meet style discount store, I can only give it four stars because it's not open regularly and it's difficult to find. Other than that, anyone interested in yoga, Pilates, meditation, or overall wellness must pay this place a visit. The next sale is May 1-3, 2008. Email the Gaiam Outlet to find out about other future sales.
