I usually love coming here but had an awful experience. I couldn't find anyone to assist me with a cabinet so I grabbed an empty flatbed and quickly loaded it and headed straight for checkout. The woman checking me out was very rude to me, going off on me for how I'm not supposed to use the flat bed when in reality I couldn't find anyone to help me and there were no signs that indicated that. Great experience for me! I went in specifically looking for a multi-frame for a bunch of 4x6 pictures. I found three or four different options which was perfect because I wanted two. I also found another large frame I needed for a gift. The prices weren't bad - $12-$19 depending on size/style. Even during the busy holiday season, the check-out line moved quickly. This is usually my go to Homegoods store. Whenever I need something for the house, but want it to be unique I'll stop by here. I really like that Homegoods has cutesy chic items and decor. However, what I don't like is the fact it's hit and miss. Some days you come they may have something you like, and others they will not have anything. It's cool to only have a few of items so everyone doesn't have the same things, but I kind of don't like it. A lot of stuff usually comes in pairs and a lot of times one item of a pair will be gone and there will only be one of that item left. Then you may or may not be able to find it at another Homegoods store. I love the items they sell just not that there aren't many of them at one given store or across different locations. Basically if you see something that some else has and they bought from here, most likely you won't be able to get it. Unless you are with them when they buy it and they happen to have more than one. It's definitely selective on what items they carry and how many of those items and for what period of time. I also don't like that they don't have an online store. If you're not familiar with Homegoods, it's the home products "sister" store of TJ Maxx. So, like TJ Maxx, the prices are good and the selection changes frequently. This store in the Rookwood area has furniture accents, dish ware, bed & bath items, rugs, etc. I've found some wall decor items and some kitchen accessories at this particular location. They also have lamps. As I frequently buy things, like decorative pillows, etc., and then take them home to see if they match, I have had to return items here. It was not speedy, by any means, but it's never a hassle if you keep your receipt. read more

Thanks to a wonderful review from Cathy R., I discovered this wonderful store and paid a visit this evening. I'm a huge fan of TJ Maxx and I often go there just to browse their housewares in the back for good deals on things that are often more expensive. What wonder to discover that TJ Maxx has stocked a whole store with my favorite section! This store has all the housewares you could need for your residence. They have so much glassware, bakeware, cookware, housewares, bed and bath stuff, furniture, and lamps. I enjoyed their crystal vases and bowls. I ended up finding a really cute bowl to hold seashells in my bathroom. I also found two really cute bowls with kitties on them for my cat's food! Last time I was at TJ Maxx I found these really cute Asian style stoneware plates. At Homegoods they had the whole set! I will definitely come back here for any house needs. They have great cooking pots that I had my eye on as well as the cheap high thread count sheets! read more

Dude. This place is my jam. They are not lying when they say discount here. Coming from a foodie family, I have to keep up appearances you know... Thanksgiving rolls around and I don't have a blah blah blah, people start to freak out. So I come here and get all the fancy name brand kitchen gadgets and accessories for 25-75% off. Not only that, but if you didn't know already, I am obsessed with themes! So when the holidays roll around, or heck even Spring rolls around I usually switch up everything in my house to reflect the season. This place has everything you need to pop some color into your life without making you go bankrupt. My all time favorite part about this store is that there is something for everyone! Meaning they have modern, contemporary, traditional, farmhouse, basically any type of style/decor you are into--they have it. My house is very modern but sometimes sharp lines can feel stale. I love getting traditional items for the holidays to cozy the place up a bit. Also, you can get everything in one sweep instead of traipsing through a million different stores. Homegoods, you are both a blessing and a curse. It's a bit hit or miss here...which works if you like to just wander around and try to uncover hidden gems. If you are looking for a specific thing, this may not always pay out. They have some great options like quality cutting boards, the occasional killer deal on Le Creuset enameled cast iron/stoneware. There is a huge selection of imported food items. Some do appear to be quality, but there are many that are probably old or have lots of preservatives. Still, a fun option for making a food gift basket, or holiday gifts. The furniture is hit or miss in my opinion. A lot of it is cheaply made, damaged, and still too expensive. However, there were a few pieces there that were worth consideration. They do have some interesting items like large glass vases, and other home decorating items that would normally be way overpriced at say Pier One. read more

I love this store! The selection is great and prices even better! Reasons why I love this store: 1. I love to constantly update the decorations in my home and they always have something new and unique. 2. A million of different styles of items to please people with traditional to contemporary homes. 3. Prices that are way below reasonable!!!! For the quality, the prices are amazing! I'm not a shopaholic person especially clothes and shoes but when it comes to shopping for home supplies like bath and kitchen and decors, I could spend hours in such places. I'm so glad I live in a walking distance from the rookwood commons and pavilion coz I go to homegoods every other week and brows for new good stuff and always end up buying something. they don't have as much diverse collection as bed bath and beyond have (on the other side of the rookwood) but for me it's more than enough, beside the prices in homegoods makes a big difference. you can find really great quality products for half the prices in other places. this is definitely a decent Homegoods. Their furniture and pet departments always have good finds and a large selection. You could easily decorate an apartment or small house with items from here. They can get stuck on a certain theme that is usually seasonal; today I noticed it was beach related. There were so many nautical and beach house related items which felt out of place in Ohio. It's Rude to tell people as they walk into the store that you close in 10 minutes! When it's 7:38 and the posted hours on your door clearly say you are open till 8:00! It's in poor taste to assume that your customers can't read the posted hours! I would say that management should know about this but as we were leaving she was standing at the front door with her arms crossed as she is telling another couple that they are closed at 8 minutes till 8:00! I just bought my first home, and I want to make it beautiful and perfect, but I kind of only can afford IKEA...Or so I thought, until I discovered Homegoods! This place has EVERYTHING. I can't come in here without finding so many wonderful things for my home. I particularly like their kitchen section, which has a lot of great kitchen gadgets and cute plates, coffee mugs, and serving ware. I come here for things like pillows and wall art as well, because it is a LOT cheaper than going anywhere else. Their seasonal items are really good too, if you're looking for Christmas decorations or Easter baskets. I'm a fan of Homegoods and have been for years. It's hit or miss based on the selection on hand, but it's been a miss more often than not as of recent. I can't help but wonder if this location is under new management. The place is in shambles. It often looks like a wrecking ball went through it and the style of furniture has changed from modern, to more traditional. That could just be a result of what inventory comes in.
