I absolutely love HomeGoods. I love it so much that I honestly try not to go too often because I…read moreknow I'll end up spending a ton of money here! This location is medium-sized, with pretty much everything you could want: kitchenware, knick-knacks, blankets, a pet aisle, bedding, bathroom stuff, a small furniture section, rugs, candles, and more. I also love that they have clearance sections scattered throughout the store. That said, this location is pretty disorganized and cluttered. Sometimes there's stuff on the floor, and you'll find mismatched things shoved onto shelves. Part of the fun of HomeGoods is digging through everything to find hidden gems, but I think this location could definitely be more organized. I also think some of the clearance items are a little ridiculous because some are literally broken or missing pieces. I don't really understand why those are being sold in the first place, just donate or recycle it! Still, I love HomeGoods and could spend forever looking around here! I especially love the discounted name brand foods I can find in the grocery section, especially including specialty teas and protein snacks!

Shelves packed so tight with items that touching something is sure to create an avalanche of ceramic clatter. Do I buy something every time I walk into one of these stores? Absolutely! Did I need what I bought? Maybe. Likely not. But it was 'cute'! The cashier at check out was friendly. I'll be back. I know I will.

Quince & Quinn offers a variety of beautiful home furnishings, as well as interior design and event styling services. What a neat place. The first floor showcases mostly garden furnishings, and a staircase leads to a much larger, "main" second story where you will find unique lighting, upholstery, gifts and home accents. The owner was friendly during our visit and was very helpful and affable. The addition of the shop dog, Louie - a french bulldog, made this a well-rounded and adorable trip. The entire store was (and still might be) 30% off at the time. Definitely a fun find in the Oakley neighborhood!

An employee came outside and said, "May you please not relieve your dog here". I said of course, I wouldn't do that, he is just sniffing around. It was a very reasonable ask from the employee. I didn't leave the area right away and the employee began to curse at me for having my dog in that space! It was so startling and threatening, especially for truly minding my own business. I will never support Quince and Quinn. It is a shame they hire such disrespectful people who would yell at a young lady walking down the street. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

If you are reading this review and are old enough to remember what shopping for furniture; (for that matter anything in a retail setting where you may come in contact with a sales person was like in the 70's), then you'll certainly enjoy shopping this location. You are undoubtedly aware of the typical service you receive in retail nowadays. Possibly so much so that you have become desensitized to it. Several generations removed from their sales force counterparts, today's sales folk see a weekly paystub as their reason for clocking in each day...PERIOD. High pressure, worn out slogans, and bait and switch have become so commonplace that it is now the accepted norm. Not at BIG SANDY I have to be honest here and admit that we had purchased a Living Room chair from this location roughly eighteen months prior to our recent visit. We were so blown away by the store, it's cleanliness, It's attention to detail in the way their pieces were displayed and grouped, and most of all their staff, that we had returned in hopes of experiencing that same professional, knowledgeable engagement again. We were not to be disappointed, as our sales person from our first purchase was in house that day. His name is Bryan Bauer. I cannot say enough kind words to describe the impeccable care we received, (again), from this gentleman. Professional, Knowledgeable, Courteous, are the first three that come to mind. Earlier I asked if you were old enough to remember what shopping in a retail establishment was like in the 70's. A time in which each and every customer was treated like the "only" customer. A time in which sales folk literally would bend over backwards to do whatever was necessary to make sure that the customer was thoroughly satisfied with their Purchase Experience. If you'd like to re-live; or possibly experience for the very first time, what true customer service is, then please stop in and ask for Bryan Bauer. Stop by the Kenwood location and experience the "magic".

We were informed that if we bought the cleaning package we could get the couch cleaned at anytime. We have a few dye stains that were transferred onto the seats which big Sandy's cleaning company that we paid an extra $500 to do so has turned down our claim. The sales rep is no longer with the company! Be mindful of shady salesman & companies! This debris absorbs dyes, dirt, dust etc VERY VERY easily! The $500 is non refundable, and can only be used as a store credit! Save your money
