IKEA is a great place for shopping. It offers a wide selection and affordable prices. You can spend hours and hours there without even realizing it. That's why the IKEA restaurant is essential. Whether you're hungry and need a full meal or just looking for dessert, you can find everything at the IKEA restaurant. The food is truly excellent -- everything is tasty and prepared quickly. During our last visit, we weren't hungry, but we needed a little boost in the form of something sweet, so we got some desserts, and I can tell you they were great. We love stopping by this place to take a break from long walks through IKEA.

Overpriced! This plate was around $10. Personally I found it was a bland meal. I think it would be worth it if it cost less.

My kids love IKEA meatballs but we rarely sit down and order them in the cafe. I ordered 3 of the Swedish meatball combo with drink and was underwhelmed. For ~$40 for all 3 meals, I was expecting a more heartier serving that wouldn't leave us still hungry. Otherwise my impression is that service is quick and the cafe is clean. I'll probably stick to buying the frozen bagged meatballs to go.

I love Ikea! They are always nice and friendly and their meatballs are the best. The restaurant is always clean and looks very welcoming. March 14 was $5 "ball" buffet for March Madness, and I recommend you keep your eyes open for events like these. The value is outstanding here and the quality is always great!

When in need of a quick cost effective meal while shopping, the IKEA restaurant is the place to go. Although prices have sky rocketed in the past few years, the flavors and food is still the same. I can always count of them for satisfying my craving if Swedish meatballs. The restaurant is located in the center of the top floor and to order you just go up to the kiosk and order as you please. Once you're done ordering you'll get a ticket with a number and it will be called out for you to grab from the counter. I do miss the people aspect of ordering and walking around but I totally understand the chance. Also note that the extra meatballs were $4 for 4 meatballs! I'll definitely be back to fulfill a craving or grab a bite to eat while shopping again. :)

Many people know about Ikea and their meatballs at this point right? This location has a very open area seating with ordering kiosks, making it easy to line up and eat. The kitchen is wide open too so you can see your food be prepared. In terms of service, they call your number up when it's ready. But also, the ordering screen will have your number on there so you'll know when it's ready for you. The most helpful thing is that they also have tray carts so if only one of you are waiting for food while the other secures a table, you can grab everything. Now - in terms of food: My partner and I ordered the Swedish meatball meal, she ordered the plant meatballs, the marinated salmon baguette, the 99 cent cake slice, and the $2 chocolate cake too. Including two bottles of water it cost us under $30 for both, so it's pretty affordable. The meatball meal was really good! There was an option to keep/not keep the lingonberries on the plate. Personally I wasn't a fan but my partner liked it so it's by preference at that point. The meatball and gravy like sauce with the mashed potatoes were great though! The peas were a good touch. Definitely recommend it. The salmon baguette, as a warning to folx that don't eat sushi, does come with a mostly raw salmon. I liked it, it wasn't anything amazing, but decent. I don't think the baguette worked well with the salmon but not bad. We split the baguette though which is good because I don't think I would be a fan of eating the whole thing. The cakes were good though! The 99 cent one gave a brownie cake vibe so if you want a legit cake I would go with the $2 one. That chocolate cake was really good! Overall 4/5 rating of the restaurant. Great place for a break after shopping but I don't think you'd come to IKEA specifically for the restaurant.

@thehealthinspector8 Food was delicious and healthy. Clean dining area and courteous staff. Highly recommend.

Their desserts here are still SOOO good and they recently switched up the ordering process here to kiosks only. Very quick! The downside for me was that the meatballs were gristly and not as good as in years past.

The seating area is mostly clean and very spacious with a lot of room and I really love the little coloring area for small children. That being said I am still mad at IKEA for taking chicken meatballs off their menu as it was the best thing they had. Also the kiosks were beyond frustrating and everyone using them at the time I was there had people having to come over and help them. I miss the days of being able to walk up to the food, see what was fresh, and order. They're fast at serving you, but I dunno I prefer the old way. The chocolate cake is still amazing though.

Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. Arrived early, about 11:30 and there were not a lot of people at the restaurant. The restaurant itself is on the 3rd floor of the IKEA store. Enter in the main entrance and go up two escalators or take the elevator. There's also a bistro on the first floor that has similar offerings. You place your order and pay at a kiosk, get your receipt with order number, and wait for your number to be called. I was looking for a light lunch and went for the "Kids" Swedish meatballs dinner. It comes with 4 meatballs, broccoli, garlic mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce. On the receipt, it's listed as "small" size. The meatballs are decent, the mashed potatoes full of flavor, and the Lingonberry sauce was somewhat generous and delicious. The smaller portion was surprisingly filling enough for lunch. You can save yourself a trip to the 3rd floor by going to the Bistro in the first floor.

We came here on a Monday night (also Presidents' Day) so we were the only ones in there. I got a burger with sweet potato fries which was good but nothing to boast about. My husband got their chili cheese dog (also nothing to boast about) and their Chicago hot dog. He said the Chi dog was the best chi dog he's ever tasted and that the celery salt on the bun was a nice touch. The kids share some chicken nuggets and fries. They had games inside (connect four, giant jenga, etc.) and swings which makes it really fun. They also serve the food in dog bowls to which my daughter was really confused about lol.

There is a Ms. PacMan / Galaga game and a toy locker claw machine. Some yard games: Huge Jenga and two connect 4. There is a outdoor single swing anchored to the ceiling and two TV's on the wall. The food was served in dog bowls lined with paper. It was hard to eat the sandwiches because the bread was cut all the way through. I would have loved for them to cut the sandwich in half. It was a little awkward to eat. The Philly Steak sandwich was good but was not very full, it could have used more meat. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was good but would have been better with a little more meat. The Hot Motz were great - 8 for $7.99 which is a great price! I wanted to try the Poppin Pierogi but they did not have any... hopefully next time. I recommend giving this place a try. Especially if you have a dog and kids and are traveling or passing through the area during meal time! There was a beautiful sweet golden retriever chilling out in the fake grass (people watching - so cute) We will be back again and will most likely order burgers. #kidfriendly #dogfriendly

The frappe was also really good. My friend ordered the avocado toast, which she liked, but her caramel macchiato was off at first it tasted mostly like milk with a little caramel. The egg on her dish had a thin film on it, so we're thinking it might not have been fully cooked, which is concerning. Service itself was good and the staff was nice. I bought tickets to the 1:30 pm show on Mother's Day. Tickets were $76.95 each, but I was able to get 15% off directly from their website for Mother's Day so I actually paid $65.41 each. I also decided to upgrade to their Queen's package which is an additional $30 per ticket. So overall, I paid around $190 for my mother and I. The doors open at noon- which is around the time we got there. For check in- this is where you are assigned a knight to root for. We got the black and white knight. We also got our VIP lanyards and our package came with taking 2 photos! They didn't open the doors to the arena until approximately 1:00 pm. They have an area just outside of the arena where you can order drinks from the bar, buy souvenirs, watch the horses eat, etc. Once the arena opened we were seated in table number 3 (which is actually the first row). For food we had a tomato basil soup, garlic bread, a very large chicken, and corn on the Cobb. With the Queen package you also get a slice of cake. The food surpassed my expectations, it was really really really good! Everything was. There was not one mediocre dish on my plate- everything was tasty and I wasn't expecting that. My piece of chicken was humongous. The whole meal was super filling. Side-note: we had to eat everything with our hands, because this is medieval times! So, there will be no silverware for you. And of course, my knight won! So that was a plus. Overall, this is a great event for all ages. Me and my party had tons of fun, and we're all grown. So, I can only imagine how much fun this is for children! Plus we left with so much stuff. I took home a crown, a glass (I got to keep from ordering from the bar), I took home my lanyard, my little flag I was waving around, and I took home our pictures that was included in the package. So, you definitely do not leave empty handed. I really enjoyed this experience! I thought it was super fun!

Recently, I came across an ad for it on social media, and that's when we finally realized what it actually was. We bought tickets and decided to go. My 4-year-old son was so excited about the idea, which, as a mom, was the most important thing to me! Saying that I was impressed would be an understatement. Everything is designed in a unique medieval style and looks absolutely amazing. All of the staff are dressed in character as well, which really adds to the atmosphere. The show itself was exciting and entertaining. Eating dinner without utensils was also a fun experience because it really brings you closer to the spirit of that time period. Our waitress was wonderful and completely committed to her role! What made me laugh the most was my son crying when "our" blue knight lost the battle. He thought it was all real and cried so hard I told him that the ambulance came, the knight was treated, and now he's okay That immediately cheered him up. The knight also threw flowers into the audience -- I caught one, and my son was unbelievably proud. He said, "The knight threw a flower to my mommy!" Such a wonderful evening! Since we can have "regular" dinners anytime, I think most people can treat themselves once in a while to an experience like this and step out of their everyday routine.
