Pretty solid lunch. Online ordering makes it a breeze to place and order and run next door for pick up. Lady working was really nicee. Lunch special was really good!

Crispy Chicken Sushi Burrito with RAW chicken

I ordered a crispy chicken sushi burrito and the chicken was raw when they served it to me. I did not receive any compensation and still ended up paying them. Not to mention I had already paid with tip.

I placed an order ahead of time so that I can immediately get the food by the time I walk to the restaurant. This place is located on the 2nd floor of the Westlake Center inside the food court, and it is not too hard to miss as it's right near the escalators. I built my own burrito with the poke salmon base as it as I was really craving salmon, and put on a bunch of add ons like seaweed salad, sweet corn, edamame, etc with eel and spicy mayo sauces. The burrito did the job in satisfying my cravings, though I didn't like how soggy the seaweed was comparatively and that the burrito was poorly wrapped (the burrito is rolled as a sheet of seaweed and rice but they didn't roll it completely). The rest of the burrito itself is otherwise solid with fresh salmon, though a bit small for $15 ($14 after tax with discount). It's a good place for a quick casual meal and likely one of the better options within the food court of Westlake Center, especially given that right now, they have a promotion going on where you get 10% off your first order in app or website

I was walking by westlake area and decided to explore a little and saw this place. It looks like they recently open but the menu looks interesting so I decided to give it a try. I got the Seahawks burrito which contains crispy salmon as the main protein and then their standard filling of Avocado, tamago, veggies, etc. Good: the burrito itself was good in flavoring and the crispy salmon was crispy and brought a nice texture to the burrito. It also come in a pretty nice togo box. Bad: portion is a little small for the price. The burrito itself was not wrapped properly as it broke apart when you start eating it. Each time I take a layer of the wrapper off, the burrito breaks even more, so you definitely need napkin which defeat the purpose. They are new so hopefully they will work out some of the kinks but I can see this place being a go to place for a grab and go.

This is IJ's version of a sumo crunch, with some personal modifications. Calling it sumo crunch named after my one true love @sushirrito will no doubt create high expectations, of which this burrito did not meet. I like the ability to customize your own bowl, burrito, or salad, but the fish does not appear fresh and the tempura was taken from the freezer and refried. Everything actually tasted decently, but by no means up to sushirrito's par, but the lack of fresh protein is a major concern.

New place in the Downtown area! I was super excited to try and got the Dancing Salmon Burrito and it did not disappoint. The portion was huge and plenty of salmon! It came in a cute long cardboard box that's meant to hold the sushi burrito! I'll definitely come here again to get lunch!

My husband and I were wonderfully surprised at how good IJ Sushi is. We ordered online and picked up our burritos, not expecting much from a mall food court vendor. The burritos were super fresh and the ability to customize them made the experience so nice! We both got poke marinaded tuna and salmon with an assortment of veggies. The marinade was well balanced and sweet while the actual fish itself tasted so fresh. I loved all of the veggies and the rice complimented everything so well. Only downside was that there was a lot of packaging imo, but the food itself was soooo good. We'll swing by here again if we're shopping near Westlake!

Super cool food that I have not seen before. Certainly something you can only get in a large city. A sushi burrito - essentially it's a really BIG sushi roll that hasn't been cut up into individual pieces. There is a ton of food in one so I recommend splitting if you're not all that hungry. We had this delivered but they were super quick and the food seems fresh! The rice isn't as moist and sticky as a normal sushi roll. I'm guessing this is to avoid it from crumbling in your hand (a little harder).

This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke! They share parking spots with the rest of the plaza and it's not difficult to find a spot if you're willing to walk just a few extra feet. Went for an oddly timed meal on a Saturday around 4PM and they still had all their poke options. There are about 6-8 tables in the store, but quite a few folks take their meals to go. It's definitely not the cheapest meal option, but the poke is absolutely delicious and the fish is unbelievably fresh I tried the Shoyu Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Hamachi; all of them were incredible. The Hamachi is only available on weekends and the fish is so fatty it almost melts in your mouth with the creamy and tangy sauce. The Shoyu Salmon is incredibly succulent and just a classic knocked out of the park with a great balance of fresh, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm normally a tuna hater, but the texture is excellent with a nice bite and great spice level.

We grabbed a table and the girl brought out our drinks, then the katsu came out and the girl apologized for the delay with the chirashi bowls. Few minutes later our chirashi bowls came out and the girl apologize for the delay. Awesome awareness on their part!! As for the food, my boy enjoyed the katsu bowl, as for the chirashi bowls, the fish was at a good cool temperature and the rice was perfectly warm - something that real sushi restaurants understand. For me and my chirashi bowl I don't really care for sushi rice, I prefer plain rice for my donburi, an option I will look for next time we visit - and we will definitely make it a regular stop when we visit Seattle. Various fish was fresh, and in abundance. Nicely done chirashi bowls at a reasonable price.

Not wanting to stay out until it gets dark to bus back home, I happily chose to take my food to go. They definitely should update their menu wall and the website though. It can't be that hard. The food was good. I also had the veggie croquette which was delightfully crispy and flavorful. I also had the side curry, which was surprisingly generous amount for under $5. Seared salmon bowl was good but the salmon pieces were really thin. It looked kind of speckled on top of bed of rice and it felt like I had too much rice for the amount of fish they topped it with. They also mentioned yuzu kosho as part of seasoning combination but I could barely taste it. The sauce that came with the bowl had like a ponzu base I believe, and that went well with the food. I would come back if I'm desperate for Japanese food and I don't want to cook it myself, but it was overall kind of underwhelming experience.
