Extra DRY salmon and a few green beans. I opted for the second veggie and got 2 & 1/2 florets.
Will G.

The salmon I ordered LOOKED NOTHING like in the picture on the menu. It was INCREDIBLY DRY! The veggies were almost non existent. I was not asked a temp so I gathered it would be cooked medium. It was massacred! Such a shame because at 8:30pm on a Saturday - still had 90 minutes - it just looked like the cook couldn't care less. Can't be proud of putting stuff out like this. Maybe just stick to breakfast alone? There was no ambience as there was no around. The chairs were already put up too. So sad that this is served and then a top is expected. Get on your game folks. Truly disappointed.

Spicy Poblano Omelette

Stopped by this place while on a road trip, just to fuel ourselves. We got the spicy poblano omelette (pancakes as the side), the spicy Buffalo chicken sandwich, some hot chocolate and coke. Everything was perfect. It was early morning & busy, but we still received the best of service.

5 pancake kids meal

We are passing through on our way to New York and decided to stop at the first place we saw for food. At first glance, it screams redneck only because it's connected to a gas station. However it is really good. The food is great, the waitress wasn't really attentive to us, we had to keep calling her over, and the place itself is clean and family comfortable. The pesto crepes were amazing! I love basil its one of my favorite herbs, and these crepes not only looked yummy on the menu they were absolutely amazing and would order again. My mom had the breakfast crepes. She says they are better with the sausage. She doesn't like bacon, so it makes sense . My daughter had the 5 pancake kids meal, and she ate it up.

We were here on their Very First Day open! Great experience at this new IHOP in White Haven. Real friendly staff and the food was super good. It was their first day, but they did well with speed and quality. Place looks great. Located in the Liberty Exxon travel plaza. We will be back soon! Can't wait till they get the gas station remodeled!

Food choices here are A-Plus Convenience Store, Burger King, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Aunt Auntie Anne's Pretzels & Quiznos. Chose the Quiznos and got Black Angus Steakhouse. Came out pretty quickly, and was delicious. Wonderful "Rosemary" roll. Wife & I ate every bit. Definitely will get this again! Restrooms are clean and equipped! Pretty new service plaza, so it was a nice experience. Keep in mind that these locations are priced a little higher because we are a "captive audience".

Mcdonalds: I stopped in for breakfast thinking Ill get an egg and cheese mcmuffin. Who puts ham on something called "egg and cheese"? Needless to say, I went without breakfast because NOT ONE thing came without meat. Jerks. A-Plus: On the way back I desperatly needed gas, mostly because I refused to pay 3.15 in NY. I paid 2.75 here. So I went in and browsed. They have the usual convienience store junk, nothing special. I got some water and a sack of crackers. mmm. DECOR: Not much to say here. Mcdonalds looks like a mash up of restaurant and travel plaza. The A-Plus looks like any other convienience store.. SERVICE: Mcdonalds: None. A girl was mopping the floor, 3 guys were milling around waiting for help and no one came. A-Plus: Good. The help was friendly. ---------- FINAL THOUGHTS: Its a rest stop. Stop and rest. McDonalds sucks, but otherwise Id stop again. It was clean and friendly.

The restaurant was staged beautifully and decorated for a between-the-holidays meal, and even though it was packed there was only a low undertone of voices from the surrounding tables. Our waiter was fantastic and gave honest, informed suggestions that showed great menu knowledge. The cocktails were creative, well-balanced and refreshing; we tried the pomegranate cosmo, winter maple old fashioned, mistletoe mule, holiday margarita, and butterscotch espresso martini. The whipped ricotta and poached pear crostini really stood out and was an incredible way to begin the meal, but don't sleep on the bacon wrapped scallops. I could have eaten a bowl of that sweet corn puree and even though it's a party favorite, the smokey/sweet bacon/scallop combo was even more crisp/tender than most their kind. For entrees, we rattled off some Chilean sea bass (w/ citrus beurre Blanc), linguine and clams, and spicy chicken pappardelle, finishing with a few lunges at their Classic House Made, original 1989 recipe, Peanut Butter Pie. Normally my fiance and I split our entrees; unfortunately, I couldn't come up from the Sea Bass long enough to even offer her a bite. It was really a wonderful sauce, and a perfect amount to swirl around in the risotto. I was able to score the remainder of the clam linguine as leftovers, and even heated up in the microwave two days later it still qualified as a top three clam linguine dish I've ever had; buttery, lemony, garlicky goodness.

Apparently, they're now serving beer at Burger King. I mean, who would've thought, right? I was driving back to Philadelphia and decided to stop and charge my phone, but little did I know, I was in for a surprise. I placed my order for some chicken fries and turned around to find myself face-to-face with a whole case of beers. Talk about a plot twist! I kept walking, trying to process what I just saw, and guess what? There was even more beer! I don't know what's going on in Scranton, but they sure know how to have a good time. And let me give a shoutout to the genius owner of this Burger King because they've mastered the art of impulse buying with their product placement. I mean, who can resist the temptation of grabbing a cold one while waiting for their chicken fries? It's like they read our minds! So, if you're ever in Scranton and craving some fast food with a side of unexpected beer options, head on over to this Burger King. It's like a party in a fast-food joint! Just remember to enjoy responsibly and maybe grab some extra napkins because things might get a little wild. Cheers! In other news, the place was clean, bright and so was the cashier.
