This location was not ideal. The service was very slow. Our order was "misplaced" so we had a long wait. The food was ok. The restaurant could use some additional help to cover the crowd. read more

I placed an online order and selected a 12:00 PM pickup time. When I arrived, my order wasn't ready. At first, they couldn't even find it, and then I was told it still hadn't been prepared. I ended up waiting over 45 minutes past my scheduled pickup time. The service and communication were extremely disappointing. There was no clear explanation, no proactive updates, and no sense of urgency to fix the situation. If you offer online ordering with scheduled pickup times, you should at least communicate delays properly. Overall, a very frustrating experience. read more

Although for a crowded Saturday the food came out very fast the service was not up to par. We had an order of three pancakes and was served two. The eggs were raw in the center and powdery. We didn't receive any refills on water and we waited 15 min after the food arrived to receive utensils to eat with and even then we ended up with plastic forks and knives. read more

We stopped by IHOP before going to a VA appointment. On arrival one of the front desk hostess Name keviah seat us down no warth greeting, no eating utensils. Her demeanor seems like she was just over it. Are waitress came over with a warm smile and greeting. Her name was Breonna P. very professional. She kept coming by asking if we was ok. Do we need anything. There was a group of four waiting on their food. When they got up and walked out this establishment had been waiting for their food after 30 minutes alendgely. There was a manager on site sitting in the back of this establishment looking around. This matter was brought to his attention by another employee because he kept looking towards my directions and then veirdback to conversation. The food portion was the size that you would give a toddler. The atmosphere altogether was not pleasant, warm feeling or engaging. They're overall score was at 93% posted on the wall. Customer service is not how used to be. read more

Hostess appeared tired, disinterested and unsatisfied with having to seat us. Table was sticky, and we had to ask the hostess to clean it. Server appeared even more fatigued and disinterested in taking our order. No Diet Coke. No Diet Pepsi. No chicken-fried steak. No joy in IHOP today. read more

Service wasn't good. Food wasn't the best. Space was congested. Customer service needs a lot of work.

Customer Service Is So Horrible! I ordered online @7:40am. Order was to be ready at 7:56am I arrived at 7:50am with only 3 customers seated and received my food at 8:27am. Never will I come back in the mornings. read more

I am absolutely APALLED by the service at this restaurant. I placed an order at 10:40 am. My order was supposed to be ready at 11:07. I arrived at 11:30. Despite the extra 23 minutes my food was not ready. We waited until 12:00 and then inquired about the food once more. The food was still not ready I waited an additional amount of time before asking to cancel my order. At this point i was completely and utterly ignored not once but twice. I asked another employee about canceling the order and they said something along the lines of "the manager has to do it but he's back there cooking right now". Again, I patiently waited. Eventually we were given a bag of food that was completely wrong. We handed it back and they literally gave us the exact same bag of food again just now with a different ticket. This time I asked for a manager. A server told him and he made some remark before laughing. Eventually we did receive our food and one of the servers gave us orange juice and extra pancakes for our wait. In total it took 3 hours and 40 minutes to receive our food from the time of ordering to being in my hands. Overalll the staff was rude and unhelpful lots of them had an attitude when we were simply trying to cancel our order. read more

we went to IHOP And it took the server a good 15 minutes for us to get our drinks and then she kept forgetting stuff that we asked for another ticket and after that I feel is very very swollen not good portion they're taxing us my sister asked for three pancakes and the woman came back with one but I had to take it. This place is very gross. Communication is also very bad. I really don't see myself eating here again. Aside having to wait for a little over 30 minutes to get to sit at a table, the tables themselves are very filthy and unattended. The staff also kept dropping plates on the floor and spilling food all over the place. This IHOP place is simply terrible. read more

I came here around midnight on a Friday night, and the service was not great. Our food took about an hour to come out, and it was not even hot. I ordered the new pancakes they had for the month of October, and they were nothing exceptional. The apple pie was the best pancake I had. Overall, not the best IHOP I have been to, but definitely come if you get the midnight pancake munchies. read more

The server was extremely nice and extremely friendly, but the food was horrible. Couldn't even eat it wasted $40.

Food is delicious but they are very slow. Normally takes about 30 minutes to sit and receive your food!

My waitress was really nice and that was about the only thing. I ordered chicken and waffles with a side of eggs fried hard. The waffle tasted like a cornbread muffin not to mention it was dark dark brown and my eggs were watery. Several pieces of chicken stuck together and not browned on some sides. I will not be returning and would only recommend if it's the only place available! read more

We sat at a table Saturday morning from about 7:15 til 8am waiting for them to take our order. Never brought us anything to drink while waiting. Food was below average. They were actually closed at 7 am even though they say open 24 hours. They opened shortly after 7. Worst breakfast experience I have ever had at an Ihop. read more

This place is honestly very bad. You'll get your standard IHOP menu but everything else is so gross. The table, the chairs, the coffee canister, the cup, the plates, the utensils were all dirty. The service is also extremely slow. On my way out, I passed by the kitchen and by the look of it, I am honestly also nervous about the food I just ate. Very sad that this is the only IHOP close by. read more

I really hate to have to post this but, I absolutely feel it is a must in hopes of saving at least one person from the absolutely worst breakfast. The food was so bad it was just about questionable when it comes to food safety and required food temperature. I ordered hash browns, eggs, bacon, and toast. Within two minutes me food was on the table. Yes...two minutes... The toast, hash browns, and bacon looked and taste as though it had been cooked the day before. No butter available for the toast and spreading jam in an attempt to make it taste butter was useless. The damn eggs... Wow... could not believe what they served. I ordered over-medium eggs, I was served raw, runny eggs with a white yolk. I could not bring myself to even take a bite.... unbelievable. read more

Do not waste your time going into this location... I placed my curbside order at 10 o'clock said it would be ready at 10:20 I got there at 10:25 and waited in the car until 11 and called twice and all they could say was they are busy and they were working on the order. Finally after waiting another 15 minutes I walk in and there's barely anybody in there and my order is sitting up on the shelf and who knows how long it's been sitting there. Then I get to the car and open it and it's not even the right thing then had to go back in and wait for them to redo the order and ask for a manager and wait another 15 minutes and nobody ever came and I finally leave. One of the worst places I've ever been if you do not waste your time. read more

Slow, slow, & slow. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. Food: 2* - This is standard IHOP fare. Probably even a little lower in quality than most IHOPs though. Coffee is below average. Service: 1.5* - Arrived 815a on Saturday morning. Seated immediately. Waitress arrived after 5 min. Brought out our drinks quickly and then disappeared for over 10 minutes. When she returned she took our order. Asked for pancake combo with sausage, scrambled eggs, and strawberries instead of hash browns. Food took just over 20 minutes to come out. She gave us bacon instead of sausage (a mistake in our favor - she came our with some sausage quickly). She forgot the eggs, but brought them out 5 min later after I asked. My kids like this place, so that's probably why I'll come back. They do whine a lot about how long it takes the food to come out. read more

Nice and neat restsursnt, great wait staff quick and Efficient with lots of smiles. Food taste great I just wish the pancakes were bigger

Placed an online order. Got there when it was supposed to be ready but had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Ordered a breakfast burrito, as soon as I opened the wrapper, a puddle of juice from the chicken and egg whites leaked all over my pants. The burrito was missing avocado, queso, salsa and tomatoes. I can see missing one ingredient but four? Very disappointed in the untimely service and poor execution of my order. If I can say something positive it's that the lady that helped me and the manager had good attitudes. read more

I ordered a Colorado omelette no shredded beef. The ingredients of this omelette are: bacon, sausage, ham, shredded beef, green peppers and onions. My omelette arrived with shredded beef, sausage and bacon all piled on top of the omelette! Inside was cheese and shredded beef! That's it! The pancakes tasted like they were cooked yesterday and reheated. I asked for utensils and condiments and received only syrup. IHOP is one of my favorite places for breakfast but I will never order from this location again! If I could it zero stars I would! Thanks for ruining my morning! read more

Literally waited like 15 mins just for our order to be taken. I would've maybe understood if the store was busy but it was only 3 other groups seated. Literally says open 24/7 and they closed at 2 in the morning. Was waiting for 45 minutes before the manager said she was closing the place. Ghetto and trashy! I don't understand how people want jobs but don't want to do their jobs ! It doesn't make sense! read more

I went in this afternoon looking forward to Bananas foster french toast. That was the last positive thought associated with IHOP. We waited over 15 minutes to be seated (there were only 5 tables taken). Once seated, we were left alone never to speak to another person again. No offer of water, no drink order no food order. After 25 additional minutes of bring ignored, we left. The worst place i have ever been in. read more

First, the staff is sitting in the back, just talking and not working. Our servicer didn't know the menu, which cost us more. When we first walked in , nobody greeted us or anything . The lady stood up at the register for a minute and just looked at us and walked off to take another customer's order. They finally seated us after standing in the front for about 15 minutes . mind you , it's not busy ... at all . we've been sitting here for about 20 minutes now and no one has even asked us what we wanted to drink. The tables are filthy . very very poor customer service. don't plan on coming back read more

I've been here many times over the years. The service has generally been terrible, although there are some times that service has been pretty good. The good quality has gotten pretty bad in 2017. The pancakes consistently don't look like IHOP pancakes. You never know what the eggs will look like. Tonight was my last visit. There were two other tables when I arrived. The host looked absolutely miserable and spoke to me as she was walking toward my table. I have no idea what she said but followed to a table. My server showed up promptly and took my order. She never spoke to me again. She never checked with me after the food arrived and never offered a refill. She slapped the check down on the table 10 minutes after I finished eating and ran off. After waiting about 10 more minutes to get cashed out, I walked up to the register. I finally got some attention and was cashed out by her. No apology for my wait or for lack of service in general. Even on a slow night, the food took over 30 minutes to arrive. It was an omelette and pancakes. The people that work here consistently appear miserable and you'll feel that way after spending any time here. read more

I ordered pick up from Doordash on a Sunday afternoon, drove to the IHOP, and parked in the pick up spot. I called the number on the sign, to let them know I was there. The number didn't work. I sat there for 45 minutes, waiting for my food, and then got a text message saying that the restaurant had canceled my order. There was NO Explanation of why that was done. Needless to say, I was upset about that. My mouth was watering in anticipation of having my brunch, and then to be notified by a text message that I wasn't getting my order. As I was driving out of the parking lot, I saw a sign with instructions on how to order online. Excited to see that, I reordered the same. I got a text message telling me that my food would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes. One hour later, I went inside the store. I asked the Cashiers how long it would be for my order to be ready, and was told they had no idea. I explained that I was due at a meeting in 45 minutes, and that I needed to know. They said they couldn't help me, because they were busy. I gave them my name, and asked them to PLEASE ask the kitchen if my food would be done in time. The girl came back out of the kitchen, and said that the cook told her it would be ready "just shortly". She asked me to pull my car around to close to the front door, and said they would bring it out to me in just a few minutes. 40 minutes later, I went back inside to get my food. I was told they were very busy, and that they couldn't get it done in time. I told the girl to please just cancel my order. I was VERY upset about that, and was going to head to my meeting with my stomach growling. If the wasted 90 minutes and no food wasn't bad enough, I was told that I had to go online and cancel it myself. I had NO idea how to do that, and wasn't offered ANY help with how to do it. Much as I love the food at IHOP, I'll never darken the door of the Montgomery Alabama location again. If I get a taste for IHOP again, I'll drive to a different town (closest is 20 miles away) to get my food. This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST IHOP I have EVER been to!! Terrible Service, and rude employees! On top of that, HEY CORPORATE.....WHY did you take my favorite "Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast" off your menu? 2 Black Marks on IHOP from me!! read more

Super slooooow service. If you come for breakfast, you better put in an order for lunch too cuz it takes forever to get your food. Some of the portion sizes are ridiculously undersized. Ordered two regular pancakes-two about 4" each come out on a small "bread" plate. Double checked to make sure that it wasn't a mix up. Waitress confirmed that is the regular adult size pancakes. Ordered a bowl of fresh fruit. The bowl was the size of a small dipping bowl. You get more fruit when grocery stores give you a free sample as you walk thru the store. read more

Very very slow. Takes their time. Doesn't really care about customer service or the customer. If you're picking up to go, might as well not. They only cater to the customers that's dining in. If you order a delivery I wouldn't even bother. Your food is going to be cold. As I have witnessed to go food just sitting in the kitchen getting cold and others getting served. The choice is yours to eat here but I wouldn't. read more

So overall this location could use some help. The General Manager was very helpful and our server was nice, but we got our food and no silverware. Not a big deal to me personally because I can ask someone and it was brought. The food was good and I did enjoy it. The back kitchen some lady did yell and seemed upset, but it was more comedic to me to laugh then say "that ruined it". It was just funny honestly. If you really are a easy person to please and don't set your standards super high, example: Gordon Ramsey because we are not him, then this place will do just fine for breakfast or brunch. read more

This is the WORST IHOP I've ever been to in my life!! I worked at this IHOP for two days and let me tell you they are very VERY dirty the cooks don't wash their hands and they eat off your plate; the servers put their ungloved hands on your food, and the dishes be half washed. The two days that I worked at this IHOP I was never paid for them. The management is terrible as well as the operation. They will be getting sued eat here at your own discretion. read more
