Buttermilk Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pancakes with strawberry syrup.

Location is nice. Service is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good. Sausage was old. Asked for fresh and they made it fresh. Something about cooking sausage and serving throughout the entire day is not good. You can see in the picture this sausage was clearly old. The other food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I recommend this location.

I had such a quality juicy burger to go and two pancakes for $13. The new jalapeño Jack burger had a tasty crunchy cheese chip in the center and that made the burger so tasty. The burger was juicy the whole time. I was pleasantly surprised the whole time. The two pancakes were just all right. Well cooked, but not crazy flavorful.

Believe it or not this is the biscuit

Some memories are better left as memories. What I mean by this is as a kid growing up I used to love to go to IHOP and get a stack of pancakes. Eating at Ihop was a treat reserved for Sundays after church or on the way to a Little League game. So I passed this place on many occasions and it was always full, usually the sign of good food. So I decided this past Sunday to stop in and relive a fun childhood experience. What they say, you can't go back I can't go back and become that child of 10 years old enjoying the experience at a clean family restaurant. So I can't recapture a memory. To say that the food here was bad is an understatement. Whoever is making eggs should be working in a medieval torture chamber how Sunnyside up eggs come out and you can't cut them with your fork. You need a steak knife is beyond me. Hashbrowns were cold sausage as well. The bacon looked like , it had fallen on the floor and was kicked around before put on the plate. And don't get me started on what they call "biscuits and gravy"! It's more like hockey pucks and grease trap oil. So putting all that aside, actually pushing it away from in front of me before I gagged. I decided to try the pancakes, wishing for a fond memory. I can say that the pancakes, still taste like pancakes even though they were cold, they gave us less than a half a tablespoon of frozen butter. So I guess what I'm trying to stay is IHOP I'll try to remember the old days, because there is no way I'm going to relive this experience.

A stone's throw from our hotel, Ihop was great - quick, good food, and the fact that they were open 24 hours was particularly handy as we were working very late.

I didn't even make it out of the restaurant before writing this--Cowy Burger is THAT good…read more I ordered the Grand Slam burger ($13) and added an extra patty for $3, and it was absolutely worth it. One of the best smash burgers I've had--juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and just stacked right. The sides were just as impressive. The royal truffle fries and bacon cheese fries were both on point--crispy, loaded, and packed with flavor. My kids went with a cookies and cream milkshake along with their burgers, and they loved it. Everything came out great. Honestly, every single item hit. If you're anywhere near Miami and want a legit smash burger, this place is a must.

Solid Smashburger Gem in Wynwood…read more Went last week on a whim after a neighborhood recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. Cowy Burger is tucked away on a side street off one of Wynwood's busier drags--but don't let the low-key location fool you. We arrived just before noon and walked straight up to the counter; minutes later, the lunch rush (and what felt like busloads of people) rolled in. Perfect timing. I ordered the Cowy Burger, and as someone who's not usually a smashburger fan, this one worked for me. It was juicy, not overly thin, and--crucially--not overcooked. The grilled onions were a great touch. I'm not a fan of American cheese, and while it didn't ruin the burger, an upgraded cheese option would absolutely elevate it. The waffle fries on their own were excellent. The version with cheese and bacon, however, was a miss for me--the cheese tasted like American/Velveeta territory and felt a bit cheap. A sharper or more thoughtful cheese choice would make a big difference here. Drink selection was pretty standard (mostly carbonated options). There's a real opportunity to add something like iced tea or lemonade to balance things out. Pricing was fair, the space was clean, and while seating is limited, the vibe was good--just be prepared for takeout or a short wait during peak times. Where Cowy really shines is customer service. The cashier walked me through the menu, brought the food out, checked in when things ran a bit behind, and made sure everyone was taken care of. That level of attention is not typical for Wynwood spots and definitely earns them a plus. Final take: a solid four stars. It's already a great option, and with a few tweaks--better cheese choices on burgers and fries, and a slightly broader drink lineup--this could easily become my go-to smashburger in Miami, not just Wynwood. Big potential here.

Do not go there in a hurry expecting " Speedy González "service it just isn't their vibe at all not rag on them at all. Often you have to wait for an attendant to seat you and another to take your order and another to bring it out. But having given you the lay of the land - beer is always ice cold and served with a smile and drinks get well mixed and served promptly at the bar. Anything off their menu is always tasty and property cooked - like their Shrimp and Cheese Quesadillas with onions and green peppers plus their Steak Tacos and Tuna or Key West Tacos too plus Smothered fries rock and Philly Cheese Steak too. A tad light on dessert options for our taste hence why only 4 stars - but the typical Brownie Hot Fudge with Vanilla Ice Cream worked for us. Sodas of course for the under age and a dart board and table Polo for the restless kids - I vaguely recall. The place has clean bathrooms and nobody's ever rude unless you are and rush them too much. It's in the South-East end of Miami Springs just West of LeJeune Road (also same as N.W. 42nd Ave.) Go West on 36th Street from the Airport, past the McDonald's on the North side in a Days Inn I think No reservations needed unless maybe a very large party. It's really very close to the MIA Airport area. We went 3 times while down there. Prices we felt were very affordable for all items and the dress code is casual anything and families are definitely welcomed. Very much a locals place like Cheers but because they are adjacent a hotel - lots of out-of-towners and the airport lunch crowd too. Eating at the bar, the many private booths in the back or table-seating, you will find your spot for sure. And for the game junkie men who hate to get up and do a bathroom run during a game to use the bathroom while the game is on - no worries tv's in the men's room all-around too.

It's great knowing that whenever the craving hits for a juicy burger, you can swing by any day of the week and get your fix. I went with some friends, and we each ordered something different ...I had the Timba burger, one friend got the Bacon, and another tried the lala. These smash burgers are about 5 ounces each, so if you're thinking of doubling up, just know it's going to be massive. I've tried the McLala's, the Classic before, and I'll admit I'm more of an Original girl when it comes to bothers. While I was hoping to love the Timba the classic is the way to go ! As for appetizers though, i am so glad we went with both! We got the queso frita with guava sauce which were perfectly crispy, cheesy, and just the right amount of sweet and savory. But the star of the night was their new special cheeseburger bacon croquetas in béchamel sauce. Holy moly, they have to keep these on the menu. They had this corndog like crispy cornflake texture on the outside with flavorful meat inside, creamy sauce, and a hint of lime that tied everything together. I'd honestly come back just for those. Crossing fingers that they stay!

During our first visit on a Thursday night, the restaurant wasn't very busy. The manager came by to introduce herself and explained the menu, drinks, extra burger patty is $4. I thought that was a nice touch. We ordered the queso frito bites and I wanted to like them, but my order clashed with the hot queso frito and cold guava sauce. Sauce could be warmed up. I also felt the plastic container it came in was a pretty cheap presentation. Not sure if these are even reused, as in washed or in the dishwasher, but being more environmentally conservative would be nice. We ordered our burgers with one patty. One patty is enough. Our burgers arrived. We ordered McLala, the bacon burger and a side of fries to share. Glad we got one order of fries because it was a lot of fries. And seriously, one patty is enough. The food has great potential, but the food didn't really wow me.
