Today I ordered for curbside takeout. I waited 15 minutes after the time I checked in as already there. I had also checked in before, when I was on my way. They didn't apologize for the wait. It was actually acknowledged by them and not by me but still not addressed. My food. Ugh it was terrible. I have been sick with a stomach virus since Thursday. This was the first thing that sounded good. I wish I had eaten nothing! The picture of my food tells the story. But I know words explain even more. I got turkey bacon as I don't eat pork. My bacon had NEVER touched a grill. It was so clearly microwaved, gross! I'm fairly certain they cook the hash browns in large batches, cut into weird perfect rectangles with the desired color (dark/burnt for the crispy takers), and microwave as needed. This is probably what they do with the eggs too, because my eggs were so super spongy. This was almost $20 that I will never spend here again. Buyer be aware.

Service was excellent and friendly, food was tasty. Not a fan of the syrup but always prefer real syrup.

The breakfast is pretty good, the burgers we had the last time we were there were horrible, I' recommend sticking to their breakfast menu.

I have a feeling Alea will be known for so much more than its incredible bakery…read more I had the opportunity to attend one of their curated chef dinners, and it was such a memorable meal. The chef-owners, Brendan & Haley, prepared and served a thoughtfully curated multi-course dinner featuring the freshest seasonal Oregon ingredients. Every course was beautifully executed, but the duck was, without question, the best I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and something I'll be telling everyone I talk to who plans to go to Willamette Valley. What made the evening even more special was hearing directly from the chefs as they shared the inspiration behind each dish and highlighted the incredible local farms and producers they partner with. It felt intimate, personal, and unlike a traditional restaurant experience. You could feel the care and intention that went into every detail. If you only know Alea for its amazing bread, breakfast, or pastries, you're missing one of the most unique dining experiences in McMinnville. Some meals fill you up, and others stay with you in your heart. I wish these two the very best of luck and hope to make my way back soon!

We walked towards the back where Alea was. We ordered the 16oz latte to stay and the spelt cookie and tart. The tart was very good - we would definitely get that again. There was a lot of seating. The space is shared with a small grocery, pizza, beer and custom tshirt shop.
