I visited this location twice while visiting my sister who lives in McMinnville. I found the interior (including restrooms) to be exceptionally clean and the servers to be pleasant and efficient. On one morning I ordered the 2x2x2, choosing scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The bacon was crisp, the way I like it, and the pancakes were delicious; I used strawberry syrup on them. The scrambled eggs were okay, made much better by peppering them. On my next visit I ordered eggs benedict. They were standard, nothing fancy, but well made - no complaints. I got a side of fruit and everything in the bowl (watermelon, grapes, honeydew, pineapple) was fresh and flavorful. Today I ordered for curbside takeout. I waited 15 minutes after the time I checked in as already there. I had also checked in before, when I was on my way. They didn't apologize for the wait. This was the first thing that sounded good. I wish I had eaten nothing! The picture of my food tells the story. But I know words explain even more. I got turkey bacon as I don't eat pork. My bacon had NEVER touched a grill. It was so clearly microwaved, gross! I'm fairly certain they cook the hash browns in large batches, cut into weird perfect rectangles with the desired color (dark/burnt for the crispy takers), and microwave as needed. It smelled really bad as soon as we walked in, and it was freezing. Don't know why we bothered to let them seat us. The server was honest about the fact that the owners have apparently done nothing about the smell for some time, even after saying several times they would do something. So that's a huge red flag. When we sat down there were crumbs on the booth seats. Was not looking like it would be a good experience so we just left. At the very least, free food for the kids is not worth the smell of raw sewage. This is quite possibly the worst iHop in all of Oregon, quite possibly the world. We stopped in recently for a late breakfast and we were seated quickly. That is where the positives end by the way. Our order was taken about 10 minutes later whatever not a big deal. We ordered 2 coffees and 2 breakfast meals, simple enough right? Wrong. We waited roughly 30 minutes and still had not received anything, not silverware nor our coffees. We weren't particularly annoyed or anything, just patiently waiting for our food when something miraculous happened! Our waitress returned to our table! Joy! All was right in the world, we would shortly be enjoying our breakfast! Right? Right? No. Our waitress drops the bill on us without even looking at us or stopping. The bill. We have not received even the most basic of service let alone an actual breakfast or coffee and we are handed the bill. Wowza. Whatever, maybe she was busy and wanted to give it to us early? We press on. Determined to make this a good experience we ignore this and move the bill to the back of the table. Our food finally arrives! Hurray! Though no coffee still. I had subpar chicken strips which is about the only thing I can eat here due to allergies but my family had pancakes and bacon and hash browns. The split us up and we sat over 10 feet away from each other. I get the seating for covid but this was absurd. I told the wait staff that the booth and table were together. I read the reviews. I went in yesterday hopeful. IHOP always has great potential. I'm a big breakfast fan. I was disappointed. My eggs we're not good, I didn't eat them. The bacon was thin, limp and fatty. The hash browns surely laid in the grill for a moment. The blueberry pancakes saved the experience for a solid 2 stars. Service was good. Server was nice. 4 fake 5 star reviews! Anyone who rates this place over a two star needs to be ignored. They've been open for a short time and if their staff gets more experience it won't matter the practices and the product will remain the same. The ambiance was nice and looked clean. Ok cool. 10 minutes went by and our server, Sophia showed and within 5 minutes we had coffee and water, I asked for creamer. About 10 minutes later she showed for our order, still no creamer, asked again, we were ready 15 minutes ago but she asked to do something. No problem. Somewhere between 5-10 minutes we had our food. Dang that was fast, asked again for creamer, wife asked for butter. Wife did not like the chocolate chip pancakes flavor (chocolate powder?), or the fact that they are 6" cold pancakes for over $10 or the food stuck on her fork (mine too). Maybe 5 minutes go by I finally get the creamer 25 minutes after the coffee and no butter yet. No matter, my wife sent the pancakes back with one bite. My coffee was water with slight brown, so that didn't work. I really didn't care that it was as cold as our food. My cheesecake pancakes were ok for cold and using a spoon to eat. We come to the door and there is our server facing away discussing loudly how we wouldn't try something else and complained about this thing I'm *saving, etc. We tell her we're out and where she can go police up the hair. She is caught off guard and apologizes and says there is no bill. *Now the item saved. Our server when we ordered was told the table across from us had a boy (maybe 8) who was licking the community syrups (4 flavors). She said that we wipe them down every night with wipes. So the handle, bottle, spout? We reiterated, mouth to spout, she responded "oh, ok". She later arrived at that table with the manager(?). They discussed what to do.
