From the moment we arrived, the food, service, and ambiance were absolutely outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The portions are generous one of my sisters ordered a salad that was so large she had plenty left to take home for her husband. My other sister ordered the breakfast croissant, and I had the smash burger, which practically melted in my mouth. Of course, we had to save room for dessert! We shared the vanilla bean crème brûlée and the beignet fries, and both were absolutely delicious. If you enjoy a good cocktail, you'll love their drink menu too the cocktails are amazing, and the prices are just as impressive. What really set this restaurant apart, though, was the customer service. I had a small issue with my debit card, and the owner personally called me afterward to make sure everything had been taken care of. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about how much they value their customers. Brown Butter Depot has definitely earned a spot on my list of repeat visits. Order at counter and delivered to your table. Pleasant counter service - host on receipt was Rex. First visit so it took us a minute. Asked for suggestions and he told us what sold the most or was featured, not what he liked, which is what we wanted to hear. Ordered the Smothered Pork Sandwich combo with green beans and a drink ($12.48), a small rib plate w/fried okra and grilled Brussel sprouts ($13.99) and 6 Boneless Wings with a side of mac & cheese ($7.99). It took a bit longer than I anticipated to get our food. When it was delivered there was no ranch or blue cheese dressing for the wings, and I never did get the food runner's attention. Rex came back to check on us and he brought me 2 individual containers of ranch. Food: sandwich was divine and huge! Green beans were bland, mac & cheese was creamy, Brussel sprouts were cooked nicely though a little oily. Ribs were good and the smoky flavor on the first two ribs was heavenly, but the closer to the end of the small slab I ordered, the tougher they got and the flavor seemed to bland. Not sure why, just did. Fried okra was cooked just right and plentiful. As for the "infamous" wings, I mistakenly ordered them breaded, which is not the way I prefer them. They were okay, but bready and can't be reheated at home. I won't order them again if we return. There was a chicken sandwich on the menu that looked interesting. Everyone was pleasant and the noise level was low. They offer a police/military discount - thank you. If you go, get the smothered pork sandwich and the fried okra - that's all you need to be full.

There was also plenty of street parking, which made getting in and out easy. I love a good twist on an Old Fashioned, and the Pho Old Fashioned definitely delivered. It was unique, balanced, and a fun way to start the meal. The patatas bravas came out piping hot with perfectly seasoned potatoes that were crispy on the outside and tender inside. Now let's talk about the chicken adobo... YUM. The flavor was absolutely incredible. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The sauce was packed with flavor, and spooning it over the rice made every bite even better. It's one of those dishes I'd come back specifically to order again. They also have weekday happy hour starting at 3:30 PM, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this was a fantastic meal. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and everything we tried was packed with flavor.
