Came in during early afternoon, didn't seem too busy. We were immediately seated and they had commendations for our baby, however, the wait staff seemed to be very poorly managed. Our waitress seemed flustered a majority of the time, we had 0 refills without specifically asking for them. Took us another 15 minutes after finishing our meals to get our check. Afterwords the, apparently, only staff member that could work the register was in a meeting, I guess. All in all, very poor experience, not just for me and my family, but I felt pity for the members of the staff. They were so mismanaged they were being told to take over jobs meant for someone else. Another thing that bothered me was that there was a member of the staff on his lunch break, that was just staring at my wife and I while we had 3 empty glasses on our table, and didn't do anything to help us get drinks. Me and my husband went to this location today for breakfast. The wait was over 30 minutes then we waited for our food for an additional 20minutes. I ordered the pancake combo and my husband ordered the mushroom and spinach omelette with steak inside as well a side of turkey sausage patties and buttermilk pancakes. When his omelette arrived it was missing the steak he requested. Both of our turkey sausage patties were sitting in puddle of oil and our hash brows had eggs shells on the plate. On top of this they forgot my husbands pancakes and when I asked for the manger he was extremely rude and cut me off as I was explaining why I was frustrated. He told us he could not remove any off of our tab because we had already taken a bite out of the turkey sausage. The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because I've been to this iHop before and the service/food were okay. However, this time when we went in on a slow, Tuesday morning, our waitress Joyce seemed to be in a hurry and not attentive at all. First, we ordered coffee, then our meal: banana/Nutella crepes, two eggs, hash browns and (turkey) bacon slices. We made sure to ask for turkey bacon because we don't eat pork. Halfway into the meal, I smell the bacon and it's kind of funky, not like the usual turkey bacon I've had. I take a bite into it and it tastes disgusting. We finally ask our waitress to come over and we ask her if she made sure to give us turkey bacon. Her response, "Oh my goodness, I forgot. I should've been more conscious." For her to be so absent minded when we clearly asked her for turkey bacon and not regular bacon was unbelievable. Worst part of it all, she wasn't even apologetic. We asked to speak to the manager, he was very nice and apologetic and didn't charge us for our meal. I would hope that when a customer requests for alternative changes to their meal, the waiter/waitress would be attentive and careful, especially when it comes to meat. I definitely won't be coming back to this iHop anymore and will tell others of my experience too, it's unfortunate, but that's what happens when the staff isn't observant to their customers' needs. read more

The first time I went here, the service was terrible. Sometimes that's just a bad day. Well, now it's been 3 times and I can say, without reservation, it wasn't just a bad day. It's a bad restaurant. The service is terrible from the beginning. When we arrived, the hostess acted like we were interrupting her conversation with other staff members. She seated us just feet from the door, despite a restaurant that was nearly empty, and was perturbed when I asked for a better table. Nobody ever put down silverware or placemats at our table: we had to go take them off other tables. The food took easily 30 minutes to get out, and most of it was lukewarm at best. The gravy on mine was actually congealed it was so cold. The cinnastack pancakes were missing two ingredients (no icing or whipped cream). Coffee was barely warm enough to dissolve sugar. Had the food actually been served warm it would at least have tasted good. The absolute only good part of the most recent visit was our server, Lupita, who was attentive and friendly. If you want to go to IHOP, drive a little further and avoid this one. read more

Terrible management. I placed an order for pickup for work. They forgot an order of pancakes for my supervisor. When I called the manager, Forde, was quick to offer free pancakes (not really free since we did pay for them) at my earliest convenience, just ask for him. The next day was a holiday so we came in the day after. 2 days after this whole conversation we went to get our pancakes and he refused saying he has a book to write these things down and we weren't getting free food. Not sure how often he has to offer free pancakes to customers that he couldn't remember that after a day. Not only do they consistently give you wrong orders, but after you wait 10-15 minutes just for a drink order, you expect some level of good service. Today for example, we sat down and were sitting for a good 15-20 minutes before we got our drink order, only to find that one of the special drinks they show on the table, are out. So that started off on a bad foot. Then after ordering food/drinks we waited an additional 20 minutes just to get the drinks. By the time we got our food, my wife's order was overcooked and mine was undercooked. We tried to flag down our server, who ignored us until we were finished with most of the properly fixed food. They offered to recook the eggs that were overcooked/undercooked. We declined as we were leaving soon. So they said they'd give us a discount. We accepted, but the discount was $3.00 off!?!?!? Was sat immediately in an almost empty restaurant. Our server took our drink order and it took about 20 min for him to return to take our order and give us the drinks. I got the quick 2 egg breakfast. Was denied sunny side up because apparently that wasn't an option which is hard to believe because cracking an egg on the skillet shouldn't be too hard compared to scrambled and whatnot. I do not know where to begin. I came in with my mother and sister for dinner on Sunday around 4pm. Our waiter, Travis was very nice and quiet. However, I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff. They were so loud and rude. Around 4:15pm I heard a man yelling and then around 4:30 a female starts yelling and cursing about the way she is treated. She even breaks a glass. Even when we sent the item back the order came back wrong in a different way. The placemat had the manager or regional manager's name and number so I called him. To my surprise it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be on an late Saturday morning and were seated quickly. Our server was Brian and he was very (here we go..the shocker) pleasant and professional. After he took our order our meals came at a reasonable time frame. When we got called to be seated, they actually tried to squeeze us in a corner where you could visually see only 5 adults could sit. So we were all standing around awkwardly waiting for them to find another spot but they just ended up grabbing another table and putting it next to ours. Next came the wait, it was not busy at all for it was a Tuesday. Our waiter was ok as far as taking the order went but it took quite a bit for it not being "rush hour". My friend ordered the chicken platter and lo and behold, a nice piece of blonde hair! Nice. He also ordered gravy on the side which never came after he reminded our waiter. Listen, it's IHOP. It's a chain restaurant, and though this location is not even the best of the chain, there's no way this place deserves a 2-star overall rating. I've been in WAY dirtier, smellier, dimmer-lit IHOPs that have earned worse; these guys deserve a break. We went for dinner and got a booth right away, and our waiter a moment later. James was very polite and prompt, and my glass only emptied once. Our food (the crispy chicken salad and chicken florentine crepe) was perfectly adequate. The sweet tea was just sweet enough. I had a craving for waffles this morning, Sunday, 0/11/15. I was also curious about the many bad reviews. I arrived at 9:00 a.m, received a prompt and friendly greeting from the hostess and a server who appeared to be waiting for someone. I was seated immediately. Within a couple of minutes, I was greeted by Daniel, who took my drink order. He responded positively to my request for a clean place mat. The booth I was seated in had two place mats. One was removed by the hostess. The one left was stained and had crumbs. I also asked for a clean knife. I pointed out to Daniel that the one in my place setting had food (very hard) on it. My clean place mat, knife ( delivered on a clean saucer), and herbal tea arrived within 3 minutes. I was counting. My full breakfast had been served within fifteen minutes. Daniel was attentive. Just the right amount for me. I was not rushed, in fact, told to take my time. I have been there at other times when the service was very slow, however, the wait staff has never disappointed. I've also ordered takeout where I've had to wait after giving them additional time to prepare it. They've always offered me refreshments while I waited. I've experienced loud, unpleasant noises from the staff as well as customers ( usually those with multiple small children). Although the staff still treats the dining area as a place to maintain public conversations, a conference room or a public address system. It appears they take direction from management (?), soooo! All in all, this experience was better than many I' ve had there. As for the food, I got what I expected. read more

Wow this was the worst mistake I made in my life. Walked in and no one was at the front. Had to look and wait for about 15 minutes. Then after being seated waited for about 10 more minutes. Server came and took the drink order. After 15 more minutes he brought the drink and then walked off. 5 more minutes came back took the order for food. Wow! Tasty, fast, welcoming manager and staff: Ordered mobile for first time-$5 off special; food ready fast, had burger plus two international pancake combos. Order was perfect! Swiss 'shroom burger plus International Combos (warning, the chocolate tastes like cake per younger family member), the Trés Leches Pancakes have caramel sauce, sorta' almost minty, very tasty and not as sweet as chocolate ones. Prices are very reasonable. Also found out they have ***Seniors Wednesdays*** -50% off for 55 and older's Bills.... definitely returning! We visited for breakfast on a Friday morning and it was great! We were lucky enough to be seated in Sam's section and he could not have been better. Our group included a very antsy 2 year old, and he was super patient with us as we tried to keep her under control. The food was good, seemed fresh, and Sam gave us to-go cups for our drinks.
