I tried again. Exactly one year to the date. I attempted to give this business a second chance. I had high hopes. What I discovered was the same as it was a year ago. At least this waiter didn't forget to put in my order. Well, half my order. as usual, I was greeted by a very nice Asian lady. She sat me down right next to the kitchen. Not the best place to be in a high traffic restaurant. But the place had a lot of people so I understand. I stared at the menu and knew right away what I wanted. The waiter came minutes later. He asked me what I want to drink. I told him and he just started to walk away. I called him back and said, "I am ready to order". "What would you like sir"? He asked and I gave him my order, then he ran off to the kitchen. I received a big cup of hot water for my tea, but no sugar or honey. I waited five minutes before I asked a random stranger across the table, if I could take some of his. No big deal. When my order was ready, The waiter brought it out and said That my hashbrowns will be out in a moment. So far so good I said to myself. As I'm eating my food, I realize I don't have any salt, pepper, ketchup, or syrup. I look for my waiter and he is nowhere to be seen. After another five minutes, I had to ask the same person across my table if I can borrow there condiments. He himself was frustrated. At His waiter asking if someone can clean his table. I shook my head and continue to eat my breakfast. My hash browns never came, but the bill did. I asked the waiter to remove the hashbrowns as he apologized. I gave him a stare and said, "where were you all this time? I'm not the only one that has been looking for yo? I left it at that, paid my tab. Minus the cost of the hash browns and decided to write this review. Shame they can't get this right. I live nearby and was hoping to make this my every day breakfast location and company meeting place. They just can't get it right! I hope this review help somebody and NO!!! We placed an order for 3 people, nothing difficult. All 3 of the orders were either incorrect or missing items. We called and spoke with the Manager. He was very nice and said that he would have the items corrected/replaced at no charge, but we should call when we would be coming to pick them up. We called and spoke with a 'manager' (a woman this time), but had significant difficulty communicating because of her broken English and the fact that there was A LOT of background noise on her end. And it didn't help that she continually talked over us so it made it difficult for us to restate our order. We stated 3 TIMES that we ordered NY cheesecake pancakes (which is an order of 3), and she repeated it back to us. When we picked up the corrected order, there were only 2 pancakes and they were NOT NY cheesecake style. And it didn't help that we were 'nickel and dimed' in service fees --- fees for the size of the containers, etc. Really???? We won't be doing business with them again any time soon. read more

I came in to this location on a Tuesday morning in August and it was Sunday morning after church busy, but the restaurant was about 1/2 full. They had a skeleton crew and I got the sense our waitress was doing the work of what normally would be three people. Despite that, we had great service. I enjoyed my 2x2x2 with blueberry pancakes (because if you don't have blueberries, what are you doing with your life?). Our waitress--her name is escaping me right now and I am so sorry for that because she was amazing--was attentive to our needs, but not agressive (in the sense that she's constantly coming over). I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before we went, because we had a great experience. Traveling south from New England on Easter morning, we stopped in for breakfast. We were immediately greeted by 2 employees, one who was a very smiley, cheerful woman. We were seated immediately, and our waiter was at our table within 2 minutes. He was very friendly and joked with us. My husband got eggs Benedict, and besides 1 egg yolk being a little overdone, he said it was good. My daughter and I split the protein pancakes, which were tasty for protein pancakes! lol I hadn't been to an iHop in years, so I'm not sure if the syrup is always so diluted tasting (I tried 3 flavors). But at least it wasn't sickeningly sweet. Our waiter was very attentive with refills and clearing plates, and even took away my empty sugar packets and creamer cups before our food came. The 1 thing that impressed me the most was how clean it was! Not a crumb in sight. Clean menus and condiments. My husband said the men's room was super clean and had fresh ice in the urinal. Not sure how they manage it, but everyone who works there always has a positive attitude and they seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and interacting with the customers. The manager tried telling me "the eggs were more over easy, right?" almost as if he didn't believe me. I have worked as a cook in a family owned cafe, cracking eggs over skillets all day long. Over easy, medium, hard... this egg was raw, undercook, could get people a sick; raw. In the end, I lost my appetite and since I barely ate, the manager was kind enough to take it off the check. Just had breakfast here and boy was it a mess. The hostesses here need to be fired. It's a Sunday and its Ihop so of course the place is going to be packed and have a waiting list. Well the waiting area can only hold so many, so alot of the people were standing outside or in the first entrance....these ladies never went out into the first entrance or outside to get the correct party, they just moved on to the next person on the list. That's horrible customer service. The group that was right infront of us on the list, we saw them go outside. So when the hostess called their name we yelled out that they went outside....she didn't care and she didn't move. I ordered biscuits and gravy that were extremely dry and very minimal on the gravy. During my meal I watched all the workers to see how they were handling everything. Hostesses took people to their table but then just placed the menus in a pile on the table and immediately ran off. Is it that much trouble to hand them to the actual customers once they sit? The rest of the mistakes I won't bother mentioning because it seemed more like they were associated with this being a newly opened establishment and I can understand it not being perfect yet. I recently called she the associate placed me on hold for 10 mins and then I finally hung up and could not get back through. Only to drive over there to see the phone off the hook. I ordered the pancake combo and my husband ordered the mushroom and spinach omelette with steak inside as well a side of turkey sausage patties and buttermilk pancakes.
