We'd been sitting in that booth for nearly an hour, waiting on them. The restaurant was practically empty. There was no manager on site, just a server telling us "it's our policy" with zero flexibility or apology. The waitress was abrupt and dismissive, and our loyalty as regulars meant nothing. It was rude and very embarrassing. We paid our drink tab and left. The food here has always been good, which makes this so disappointing. But being treated like an inconvenience after years of patronage isn't something we'll forget -- or repeat.

We had the cod for our entree, and it needed acidity like lemon or capers, it was quite bland, as was our kale salad starter that was supposed to have a mustard dressing, but we tasted no mustard. It was really flavorless. The chocolate mousse dessert was confusing as it was hard as if it was refrigerated as well, but it wasn't cold at all. I'm sad and disappointed it's not what it used to be, but we will remain reminiscing about the more joyous times we had in the 2000s at Encore.
