Our server came over immediately with menus and she was so kind. The menu has lots of breakfast and even lunch choices as well. Perfect for a quick, cheap, nostalgic meal. The chocolate chocolate chip pancakes still taste the same as the funny face pancake I used to get when I was a kid. Now I get a combo to have some protein in there and although it's not the healthiest option around, it's really more for the novelty of having breakfast for dinner, and a good one at that. This is our most frequented IHOP locationso aftr many many MANY visits to this location, I believe I have a good bead on this location. PARKING: There is ample parking, and the lot is paved, however it is a bit wonky getting into as the entrance comes up rather unexpectantly on a road grade change and can be easily confused for the apartments with an adjacent lot. Not sure if the lots connect somewhere so just be hyper aware. ENTRANCE There is a distinct entrance and exits point so do not attemot to enter the exit door, it only opens from the inside STAFF & INTERIOR Staff has always been friendly, with some being downright amazing. The interior feels a bit tighter than other simularly sized locations. Even with its small interior its never packed so getting a seat is fairly quick FOOD Its IHOP,the food is up to its usual standards. My only issue is the bacon, and this is for every location i've visited; Its not good. If you want bacon, I personally do not think its worth it to order it at a IHOP location. [see Pancake House review]. As of this writing the funny named, embarrassing-to-order-aloud classic has returned. The Rooty Tooty Fresh & Fruity is back for a limited time! The franchise has done away with the peach & cream option [BOOOOO!] but you still have the option of classic toppings such as strawberries or cinnamon apple. They've also added 2 new option, mixed berries or blueberries. I haven't had these yet so idk how they taste. PRICING As with everything, pricies have increased. With the pandemic causing massive supply chain issues plus the avian flu decimating millions of chickens, we see that reflected in the prices. This is a great IHOP. People are very nice and service is extremely efficient. Even though it was busy, we were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. I was craving pancakes with a side order of well-done bacon, and my friend got a breakfast burrito with a side order of pancakes. My pancakes were excellent, as IHOP pancakes usually are. The side order of bacon was really crispy and delicious We had a great waiter, Miguel C. who took care of us. We were not rushed, but took our time and enjoyed everything. Always full of people, always hits the spot. This IHOP is always full (yet they always manage to seat us) on a weekend morning, and honestly it's a vibe. I'm usually a way bigger fan of local brunch spots, but once in a while this IHOP comes in clutch. Price is affordable, and super filling in my opinion. The second I walked in here, there was no bad smell of food or bacon grease hovering all over me and thought, they probably have a real good ventilation system in place. I don't care how exclusive or cheaply priced the restaurant is, if it has bad, fried food smells- that's a freaking big turn off for me. Quick break from our Sunday afternoon was needed. Service was speedy and our guy had a smile from beginning to end. Wasn't in the mood for the eggs or waffles and only thing that grabbed me, was a Quesadilla. Except theirs, had chicken and the cook managed to hook me up with a Quesadilla without it. Thank you! Sweetened Raspberry Iced Tea was a nice balance for my gooey and tasty, Monterey Jack Cheese Quesadilla with Spinach, Roasted Peppers and Jalapeños while The Man, enjoyed his sandwich. I understand things are opening again but I gotta tell you - covid lockdown actually made the ihop experience BETTER first week of June! Now today, ihop did me dirty. First the order was wrong, then when I asked that it be remade (I know I know, but I didn't want cold food) instead my over easy eggs were made over dead under the heat lamps and you know how I could tell? On Saturday February 27th at 9:30am me and my boyfriend decided to go to this establishment to get some breakfast because I've been craving it. As soon as we walked in a bunch of workers were just standing around finally one of them seated us. We sat down they someone will be with us shortly. We waited and waited the next group came in sat down and was immediately serviced. I began to get distracted because it was now 10 minutes of us sitting there no waiter. Finally after 15 minutes of waiting we were serviced and that is only because one of the waiters told the other waiter in Spanish to help us. after he took our the next 3 groups of people who came in were all Hispanic and immediately serviced. Came here for breakfast today and I must say Ihop definitely stepped up their game. We ordered the cinnastack which was the right amount of sweetness. Then we ordered the spicy pobalano omelette which was not spicy at all but very flavorful. One thing that stood out to us at our visit was the waiter named Junior. Junior was very attentive and very polite. He asked us if we were okay and if the food was good at least 3-4 times. I told the owners about the wonderful services he provided, they recommended us to fill out a survey for him. If junior continues providing amazing service I will keep coming back. Not the best IHOP I've been to and I rather make the trip to the one in the Bronx rather than here. If you look under 18 and go in without a parent expect horrible service, I understand sometimes kids don't tip but doesn't mean you have to assume all kids won't and give me horrible service for it. It is close to the middle school and high school so some Fridays it is packed. The place itself is very cramped and there is little walk way. My pancakes were alright, fluffy but dry.
