Buffalo Chicken Melt w Fries!!

Ain't nothin wrong with a Good IHOP!! Where else you gonna get Pancakes, Omelettes, Bacon, Pancakes, Burgers, Chicken, Waffles, Pancakes, French Toast, Sandwiches, Dinner Entrées, and Pancakes all under one roof? Nowhere that's where, and this Hackettstown location represents their brand solidly.    This was my first time trying their version of Chicken and Waffles and I gotta say the meal didn't disappoint with it's Crispy Breaded Boneless Fried Chicken on one side and Light Fluffy Waffles on the other side all covered in Maple Syrup and Butter it definitely hit the spot. Service here was friendly and on point especially with all the Coffee and Tea refills.    If there's one thing the world needs now is more Pancakes and this IHOP has got you covered. In Syrup. Come And Get Your Munch On!!

We were looking to kill some time in the area and thought a breakfast at IHOP would hit the spot. We were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. Our waiter Thomas was helpful and attentive from start to finish. I ordered the pancake combo (strawberry banana pancakes, sunny side up eggs, bacon and hash browns) and everything tasted great! My mom got the lemon blueberry ricotta crepes which she also thought were delicious. Towards the end of our meal the waiter asked if I needed a refill, and I said yes. However, since it took a few minutes, and we were near the end of the meal, our waiter brought it out in a to-go cup so I could choose to finish it here or take it with me, which I really appreciated! Side note: the entire restaurant and the bathrooms were clean, which is always important!

I just drove 30 minutes to this IHOP and the internet says it should still be open to 10:00 p.m. .....until you get to the front door and then it says it closed at 8:00 p.m. ... I am looking at an IHOP with all the lights off ...it is 830pm. Thank you IHOP

Excelente servicio, muy buena comida. Usualmente el lugar está super busy pero hoy llegamos temprano y el servicio estuvo fluido. Aunque en esta ocasión ordene por avocado toast, mi favorito es el 2X2X2

Mall entrance.

Haven't been at the Hackettstown IHOP for years, but I was in town and grabbed a bite with my wife. Food was good and service by Genesis was amazing, nice sweet girl, she was on point all the time asking us if we needed anything. As for the rest of the restaurant it was filthy and the Mens bathroom was sticky and disgusting. You can see the pictures yourself. The restaurant needs a revamp, very old and rundown. The booth latís divisions are all broken and falling, looks like a hazard in my opinion.

I tried but, it wasn't all that good.

The 2016 YELP Review #219: Tried to eat two blueberry pancakes. I got most of them. Unfortunately I ordered 4. ATTENTION DUCKS OF NEW JERSEY: Follow my car to eat pancakes. The turkey sausage: ugh! These people need to take their sausage and go to the Turkey Sausage king... Cracker Barrel, and do a taste test. I knew the compote would be too sweet and ruin the pancakes so, I had them put it on the side. I could have not ordered it at all but, I figured I would help them run out sooner. LoL. Best part of the food portion of the dining experience was the orange juice. It was pure excellence. My waitress has a name... I have no idea what she said it was (she had a accent and a unique name probably). Super polite and very professional I just had to listen closely to follow her, kind of like my friends have to do when my Brazilian mom speaks.

I love the performances of our waiter. Brian is our waiter and he was very friendly and right on tasks with customers including my friend and i. The waiter is worth giving good tip and he gives the order on time. This place has good atmosphere and very peaceful. If your looking for a brunch or breakfast time, this IHOP is best relaxing spot.

I got a chicken sandwich and it had A hard peice of cheese with hair a small black hair on it looked like a guys hair.

Three eggs, hash browns, and bacon plus coffee with a smiling face serving it....fantastic. Clean restaurant equals I will return.

***If there's one review you should read before deciding to come here, it's this one. I'm about to…read morewax poetic.*** Let me preface by saying that I'm a young adult who considers himself a bit of a foodie. I work in Times Square so I usually frequent fine dining establishments in the city, but my home is North Jersey so I am acutely aware that there are some hidden gems in this state. Last week, I was at the Saddle River Inn in Saddle River and was blown away. But this place is far, far, even more exceptional. Greatest dining experience ever. Called the restaurant due to a last-minute cancelation in my party. Evan, a manager, was super helpful in waiving any cancelation fees. It's BYOB and there's a brewery across the street that apparently does takeout. I just brought beer from my house. They gave me chilled glasses and a bucket of ice to keep my refreshments chilled. Onto the ambience. You walk in and it's a nice, cozy little place with tables and a bar top with an open kitchen layout behind it. You can see all the food that's cooking and the presentations that go behind each dish - all live in front of you. The chef's were busy but always obliged when I said hey or asked a question. I tried the 5 course chef's tasting menu for $125. You get a little bit of all of the best flavors coming out of the kitchen. And the flavors are always changing. They source their ingredients from local farms. First came out complimentary course #1 - all I remember is it had crudo in it. Then course #1 - gulf shrimp with squid. This is the point where I decide no matter how else dinner plays out, I'm coming back. What fresh ingredients and creative flavor pairings. Next was course #2 - duck confit spring roll. It's just a smaller portion of what's regularly on their menu. This may have been my favorite item of the night. Next was wood fired octopus in tagliatelle pasta. After that, I believe, was complimentary course #2 - what appeared to be a caesar salad. Anything they make is delicious. Finally, I had an American wagyu strip as the fourth course. Absolutely delectable. At this point, I'm in Heaven. But I'm not quite yet full and ready for my dessert - profiteroles - one of my favorite desserts. I was looking forward to it from the moment I walked in and saw it listed on the tasting menu. I only eat 1 meal a day so when I finally eat, I eat a lot. A normal person would be full at this point, but I wanted more. I also couldn't help but think it might have something to do with me not wanting to leave and just try anything this kitchen made. So I ordered more. I asked for their regular menu and ordered some more duck confit spring rolls and some type of pork belly entree. Quick note - the pork belly entree was not good. You have to take the losses on the chin to make the wins matter more. Pork belly over beans? It was like bbq ribs meets an English breakfast. Please get rid of that, respectfully. After 3 bites, I didn't want any more so I quietly flagged down my server, Kat, and told her please quietly take this, I fully intend to pay for it since I ordered it; it's just no good. And I had been raving to her about every dish up until that point. So she insisted that she'd take it off the check. I insisted I'd pay, she kept insisting, so I relented. That's really good customer service. Now time for dessert. I wish I could say I was ending on a better note but the Profiteroles - which I mentioned is a favorite dessert of mine - massive disappointment. After everything else was put together for care, I got notes of freezer for this last one - especially the pumpkin part. I love this restaurant and I intend on returning as soon as possible, so please don't take offense to my constructive criticism. I applaud your efforts to infuse different flavors together. It is working wonders for you. Keep it up. I'm gonna share pictures of everything, including the menu. But the last 2 things I'll talk about are the cost and the service. With the pork belly entree taken off, it was just the 5 course tasting menu, an order of duck confit spring rolls, and a $6 double espresso. The total came out to $168 after taxes. I tipped $168. That's right. 100%. In a world where people like to dock tip percentages from their precious "20%" for what they perceive to be a lack of good service, let's normalize going above 25% for exceptional service. Not everyone can afford 100% like me, but next tip tip your servers 30-35% for exceptional service. As a former server in my heyday, I promise it'll mean more to them than the few extra dollars to you. And exceptional service is what I got. From manager Evan, to server Kat, to all of the others I met - forgive me if I forget any names. Chef Kelly, Chef Mike, Chef Jon, Keira, Jimmy. Thank you for an unforgettable 5-star experience. Keep up the exceptional work. I will see you again soon.

The wings come lightly breaded or not, boned or boneless or you can get falafel w/ sauces. I was pleased to see the full bar and happy they had my Leigenkugel summer shandy. Hubby got Diet Pepsi. He was thinking of getting food off the menu but we decided to see how hungry we were after the wings. 12 wings were plenty and we couldn't even eat those. The Jack Be Nimble w/ Jack Daniel's sauce were our favorites and came with plenty of sauce. We enjoyed the ginger garlic honey as well which seemed more like a rub, but the JD was wet and better. Plus they bring out fresh chips which are supper crunchy and delicious. The wings came out super quick and our server Crystal B was very attentive. The bar is very happening and features local brews as well as all the favorites. There are many options to sit and enjoy. There is outdoor in front of the restaurant and in the patio in the back. You can sit along the bar for a louder atmosphere or on the other side for a quieter more family oriented environment. Hubby wanted a coffee and opted for an Irish Coffee while I finished my beer. It was made with Jameson which is common but not his favorite. It was topped off with a light layer of whipped cream and green food coloring (not a fan).

I don't really care much about fries so it isn't a deal breaker but if I'm paying for as part of the whole meal... not acceptable. The French Onion soup was good. Their Reuben is okay. The potato skins... pass. Small, needed to be crispier for my liking. I have had better experiences here later on in the day. I'll go with busier is better for them. The staff is always pleasant. Whatever the other mis-steps the people who serve you are really awesome. Considering evening and the crew I'll go with 3 over the 2 stars my recent experiences have earned. I'm sure I would have gotten a ticket had I not been walking to my vehicle. He gave a friendly mention that the time was up.
