Service was good and food wasnt bad but I had better experiences at other ihops and cleaner ones.

Lunch items arriving before my breakfast and the customers arrived after I did!!! 2hours spent and 1&1/2 hours to get my food.... While some guests were getting lunch items, my split two breakfast orders did not come out first. In fact, some lunch orders (like chicken) arrived ahead of our breakfast, which was confusing and disrupted my day. However I was told French toast took longer to cook...!!! Inattentive service during the meal Refills and check-ins were sparse. I had to flag down waitstaff several times, which made the dining experience feel uncared for rather than welcoming. The black mold in the ceiling tiles at the entrance should have been my warning.... !!!! I will not be dining with ihop in Greenville NC!!!! Yall need to invent 0stars read more

I've had plenty of problems with this location but yesterday was definitely the last visit. My friend, boyfriend, and I came in on Easter Sunday around 1pm, so we expected it to be busy. We sit down and put our drinks in. Takes a minute for them to come out but no big deal. We ask for a minute with the menu. Our server comes back after about 10 minutes. We order and wait. I started to notice the tables around us that were seated after us are getting their food before us. About 45 minutes goes by and still no food. We tried to give them benefit of the doubt. Our server said the ticket system messed up with ours and she'd put our food on a rush. Even if that was true, how do you not notice that everyone else in that section has come and gone except for us? I wanted to believe that but after reading reviews, our server has a history of losing tickets. She also kept forgetting to bring us things but since it was sort of busy I'll give her the benefit of the doubt I guess. At least 5 tables around us had either paid and left, or were finishing their food. Including the 10 top that was walking in when we were. Other servers were sitting around staring at us. We were sitting right outside the kitchen door and they were all fighting the whole time. Then when the server brings our check ($70, not worth it) she asks us to pre-buss the table. Which we usually do anyway but I have never had someone have the nerve to ask us to. All of this coupled with how gross the restaurant is, we won't be back. Don't wanna get mold poisoning. read more

For my birthday breakfast I went with my boyfriend and friend to get breakfast. My friend first ordered a strawberry milkshake, which she received but did not get the extra side cup that accompanied it. We all placed our food orders around 1:30 expecting everything to be fine. After waiting 45 minutes already our server, Kia, came up to us and said that she lost our tickets and was just now actually getting it in. After another 15 minutes of waiting I asked a different server if there was any way she could check on our food. she passive aggressively said that she was not our waitress and walked away. Our server came back and asked what was wrong. Frustrated, we said we had been waiting for nearly an hour and just want to know if she knows how much longer. She told us it had certainly not been an hour. (we knew it had as we had checked life360 and it said we had been at this location for already an hour and five minutes). The only reason the kitchen stated we hadn't been waiting an hour was because our original ticket was lost. After waiting and talking to another server once more we again got told aggressively it had not been an hour. At that point we got up and left. Would also like to mention multiple other tables were sat, served, and left in this time and treated with respect. There is no picture to submit because food was never received. read more

The photo features what I wanted (expected) VS. what I got....I was extremely disappointed as the middle was very doughy. Needless to say after waiting the extra 10 mins for them to arrive after my eggs, sausage, and hash browns.... This was such a wasted trip. They seemed short staffed because our waitress had to bust and clean her own tables and took extremely long to return with simple request. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom. It took a hour and a half to get my food and it was cold. The eggs made me sick and the waitresses were slow and didnt get me a refill.

The food was good but the workers weren't that into their jobs. I had to asK for the same things multiple times. The server brought my pancakes without butter and no utensils and when I asked for butter I had to wait and then my pancakes were cold and they needed to be warmed up again. I've been to this IHOP before with a friend after a night out and was greeted, seated promptly, ordered food and drinks and got it quickly. I tried to go there with my husband, son and his fiancé, my brother and a friend after a night out and was told they couldn't seat us. We're an older crowd so not loud or wild, and there was all but one couple in the entire restaurant so not sure why they turned us away. I'd hate the reason to be because of something we have no control over but you never know these days. If they can't handle a small group of people in the late night/early morning than maybe don't advertise as being 24/7. read more

I seldomly write restaurant reviews unless it was exceptionally good or disastrously terrible. Most of the reviews I read posted here were negative. Granny and I eat at this Ihop location at least twice a month. Always a positive experience. Today, 11/25/2023, we had brunch there. Our group of Fam and friends consisted of 8 adults and 4 well behaved kids aged 4 and under. Wait time for our table was about 10 minutes. Not too shabby for a Thanksgiving weekend. To my knowledge there were 0 complaints about the food nor service. I had classic eggs benedict with sauteed spinach and mushrooms added with hash browns. My order, as well as everyone else's, was tabled in a timely manner and was incredibly tasty! Our server, David, superbly NAILED it. From the very beginning of his introduction to the end of our visit, David was exceptionally cordial and on cue with every request from all members of our party! His attitude really topped it off! Ihop had better be paying him well, else some of their competition will scoop him up in a New York minute! He's def a people person. He could easily open his own successful business specializing in training wait staff. If I could give him 10 stars, I would not hesitate in doing so. Needless to say, David was well rewarded for his efforts today. Hey David, YOU ROCK! As a previous employee for IHOP I can tell you none of my food came out even looking how it's supposed to. I was also missing hash browns and only received one butter for a waffle and three pancakes... ridiculous. Upon calling the store and asking the manager, I received no apology. We had breakfast there this morning. The crepes were not good. I think they forgot to put any filling in them and about 6 blueberries and 1 cut up strawberry on my order of two. Everything was rather tasteless. My husband said the men's room was a mess and the women's was pretty bad too. I don't expect to go back there. There was nothing I could give it a good rating on. I wanted to leave from the time I sat down till the time I finally left. The restaurant appearance was old and grungy. Needs a total revamp. Waitress was good and nice but loud and all over the place. I told them I wanted my waffle golden brown. It came out very light. I had a very pleasant experience at this IHOP location. I went alone this morning and my waitress Oceania (sp?) was very pleasant, with a warm smile (not fake) and attentive without being over bearing or extra. The restaurant was clean, as were the utensils (no water stains or soap residue). I was seated promptly and not near any screaming children (that's important) lol. The food was good. Just as expected at any IHOP. I didn't feel rushed as some places do when you're dining alone. Like ma'am do you know how many people we could have at this table? Type of feel. Pleasant visit. Omg!!!! Worst restaurant I have ever been to here! We were seated by a girl with an attitude, she tried to seat us immediately across from a couple and people immediately behind us with a bunch of empty tables that were spread out.. hellooooo... covid!!! When we got seated, I informed her we were in kind of a hurry because my daughter had to make a bus in an hour, around the corner. She said no problem. We watched as three other couples were seated and their drink orders were taken immediately. We waited 15 minutes before someone ever showed up for us. When waitress actually came, she was anxious, and not paying attention. I asked for medium fried ages and crispy hashbrowns with my sampler. My daughter's food came out decent (she is too polite to say otherwise). But I got screwed. The server had open cuts and bruises all over her hands and forearms and had her fingers in our food!! She dumped my toast on the floor and my food was wrong. My eggs were scrambled (I ordered fried medium) and my hash browns were not cooked all the way, just white (I ordered crispy). I very politely mentioned it to waitress, she apologized and took the plate to be fixed. She returned 2 minutes later with my food microwaved (because all the raw cheese was melted) and everything the same. When I mentioned it had not been fixed, she said " I know, I told them that, but that's what they do" then took plate again, brought it back after microwave, with hashbrowns scraped off!!! So I didn't get any breakfast becauseI wasn'tgoing to eat that nasty food I didn'torder, that was microwavedafter cooked!!!!! She didn't even replace the toast she dumped!!! You disgusting place!!!! Thought I would give this place another try but it still left me disappointed. If I could give this place a negative ten, I would. The service is horrible. When we arrived we were told it would only be a 30 minute wait to have our party seated. Well 1-1/2 hours later and several inquires about how long it would be and each time told 15-20 minutes, half the family decided to leave and we immediately got seated at a booth. We had breakfast at the Greenville NC IHOP this morning. We were seated immediately, Wade took our order as soon as we sat down and the meals were ready in less than 10 minutes. The food was tasty but the most impressive part of the visit was the manager. He didn't know I was watching. The restaurant was very busy and instead of standing around watching everyone work, he was in the kitchen helping. This says a great deal about his character and what a true manager does.
