Let me start of off with saying this review is mainly based off the food since I always typically get take out and never really dine in at least once or twice a month. My usual is the pablano omolette without the serrano peppers because the pepper is too spicy for my taste. I have always asked for more pablano/hollandaise sauce because that's what makes the meal in my opinion. Today, I received the omolettes with either little to no sauce, which didn't make it as enjoyable. Id give it a 1.5 stars without it, but at least 4 stars with the sauce. So I just averaged it to 3 stars for the review. Given that this is the first time I came into IHOP not allowing customers to enter the store, you can just call them and they deliver it to you once they ask for your vehicle description. What confused me was that they said they would charge me a dollar for the extra sauce over the phone, as opposed to them just giving it to me for free when i ask in person. My wife mentioned they do actually charge only 25 cents each per small cup. For future reference, I will always buy extra sauce since what I had today left me unsatisfied and disappointed compared to how they typically serve my food. P.s. I still favor this place over Clovis' Dennys. read more

I've often heard it said the the first meal of the new year kicks off your culinary experience for the year. After a night of New Years eve shenanigans I took my 85 yr . Mom for breakfast. What a mistake. She ordered the Smokehouse slam and was disappointed because the links taste like over sized winners. Me I want to kick 2026 off in style Eggs Bennett. 2 trust and the Chef couldn't get it close to correct. I give up . Should have stuck to simple pancakes. Sad experience. read more

IHOP was NOT busy this morning so we thought we'd give it a second chance. The waitress was not great but she was young so we made an allowance for that. The food was not great. My husband said his was terrible. We had to ask for more gravy since it didn't cover the biscuits (which looked like they had been toasted and mashed on the grill) & when I ordered I asked for extra sauce for my omelet & had to ask again. The worst part was the fact that the restaurant WASNT BUSY & our food was NOT hot when we got it. SAME COOK & I ordered the same omelet. Pancakes didn't have enough butter were they cold too. NO WONDER IT WASNT BUSY! We won't go back. read more

The service provided by Brianna was excellent! The manager on duty, Chad, came by and greated us. The restaurant was very clean. The food was outstanding! A fantastic experience. Treat yourself! read more

Always great food and service. Tastes like home cooking. I would highly recommend IHOP here in Clovis, NM! Love Love Love

We ate breakfast there this morning. The coffee pot sitting on our table was disgusting and very dirty. We had no intention of having any coffee anyway. I did take a picture just to show how bad it was. Also, when I unrolled my silverware it was dirty. I'm glad there was another set on the table to use. The food was not too good either. Over medium eggs, had whites not cooked and the bacon was not cooked all the way. The pancakes seemed to have been under a heated light because they were tough. I used my knife to cut them. I do not recommend this place at all. Lots of employees standing around, so there was no reason for uncleanliness. read more

Amazing service & good, morning crew is the best!! Food arrived in a very timely manner.

Terrible service. Waited 1 hours just for a damn drink. Don't dine here. Watched a couple leave and refund bc they were there for 3 hours waiting on food. Waiters were talking and sitting down as I saw their food counter fill up with plates that have yet to be taken out. Horrible service read more

Great service, loved the food, overall great experience.Would definitely recommend to others.

Service was slow at best. Food was late considering few people in the restaurant, came out cold, not warm at all. Not up to the expectations I would expect from IHOP. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Just not good. The staff means well and yes they're short staffed but my meal has very simple items and it's awful. It's not that crowded in here. The poor server wasn't even taught how to make a salad. Guess I'll take my chances on Dennys next time or get Wendy's. They should be paying me to tolerate this bad food and achingly slow service. read more

It was a one hour wait for the food. The food was barely ok. Big steak omelette had 5 small bites of steak. It was also a crepe not an omelette. read more

When we got here they did have several people in the place but we've never had any issues so though nothing of it. We ordered our food shortly after sitting and this began the long wait. For reference we had 2 kids French toast a spinach comment and the 2x2x2. After 30 minutes they told us ours was next. 15 minutes later they again said ours was the next out. 15 more minutes later (1our total) they again said ours was next. After another 15 minutes we told them to cancel the order as we had been waiting over an hour. All the waitress had to say was I've been telling them I need my food for this table. What a joke. If you don't mind coming in during breakfast time and getting your food by dinner time this is the place for you. Just another establishment ruined by the lack of work ethic in Clovis. Can't wait to leave read more

I have read through the reviews and i genuinely have no idea what people are talking about. When me and my partner walked in it took less than 60 seconds for us to get seated and have the waitress introduce herself. Ginger is a wonderfully accommodating!! She was always there when we needed her and she got our drinks right out to us almost as soon as we sat down!! She delivered our food so fast it only took about 5-10 minutes?? Chad was our cook and he came out to ask if everything was alright and I said no it was GREAT!! I quite literally never finish all of my food and I ate ALL of my two plates and some of my partners as well. The overall vibe of the place was really really comforting and chill one of the best places I've been in Clovis. The WORST thing I can say about the whole experience was one of the menus was a little bit sticky which honestly is fair because just about everything they have is sticky or syrupy!! So 4.999999 stars that extra one is because my autism sticky made me ahhh read more

I usually like IHOP for a decent quick breakfast but my experience in the Clovis NM IHOP was less than ideal. I ordered coffee, when the server brought the coffee pot he was carrying it under his arm, and the spout was literally in his arm pit (gross). he then comes out of the kitchen and wipes his nose first in his hand and then on his shirt . I order the Eggs Benedict, my usual favorite as I love poached eggs. when the order came I was surprised to see fried eggs and not poached. I didn't say anything, it took quite a while to get our food and I didn't want the friends I was with to have to wait for me. Needles to say I was a bit grossed out at the end of everything and didn't even get the breakfast I had wanted. Wasn't the best experience. read more

We were very excited after calling all over Clovis for a restaurant that had a Turkey dinner to no avail, to find IHOP, the pancake house. No dressing is the only negative but otherwise their dinner looks delicious! And they even had cranberry sauce. They made our day given that today is Canadian Thanksgiving (and we have Canadian roots!). We got take out and the girl who served us needs to be commended as she went above and beyond in her service and with a great friendly attitude! read more

We had asked for a coffee cup and she gave us a cup used with lipstick stains on it!! the food was just horrible and service!

do not come here. when I asked for water with lemons my lemons came buttered??? my waiter sam said that it was just because the lemons sat right next to the butter but i think that she purposely buttered my lemons. then the cook make my pancakes (that i waited an hour for) double the size of my plate like no wonder it took so long. and to top it off i asked sam why my HUGE pancakes took so long and she said it was very busy on the other side of the restaurant so i decided to take a peek and to my surprise there were only two tables of three over there #ridiculous #whyweremypancakessobig? read more

Me and a friend visited this establishment to get breakfast. We came in to see people leaving the waiting area frustrated at the wait time when there were clearly many open tables in the restaurant. We waited for about 30 minutes waiting because we were out on a "list" when a couple walked in and was immediately seated. The staff seemed to have no idea how their seating system worked. Got seated and service was overall sub par. read more

Started last night when we came in wee hours and the service was horrible. I was asked if I wanted the managers number and if he was cute. I ordered fritz and over medium eggs with hash browns and toast. Several different waiters/waitress came over to the table to ask if I was pleased with the grits snarly laughing under they're breath. I asked if I could have hot water to sanitize my utensils and the waitress informed me they were cleaned already and that's that basically. The manager at the end of the checkout asked if we were clubbing or tricking? I was so out done I couldn't even finish. So today I spoke to the district manager and came back to speak to the manager Anthony. Totally different restaraunt walking in. Very clean super polite staff.. I can not believe it's the same place at all. Let's see from here To be continued...... Whelp I'm back and the manager definitely saved the day!!! Anthony cooked our food and checked in us his self!!!! I can remember the young lady in training but hunni her grits and cheese were amazing!!!!!!!! Good save guys!!! read more

Great IHOP - love going here with the kids! Easy, quick and yum especially for breakfast!

Beyond disappointed in this establishment. We waited 25 min for a table when there were 3 groups of people here. Our server came by once for our orders and drinks and not to be seen again until an hour later with our food. I had to go and ask for water for my son. They don't sweep the floors nor clean off the tables. This place should be avoided at all costs. I think I would rather eat my child's formula. read more

This is the burrito bowl I got that's supposed to have more rice than anything and there's literally none, the amount of effort that went into making my order is zero. Terrible service. The waitress was very inattentive, never checked up on us and bad attitude. She even went as far as giving us a dirty cup of coffee with someone's old lipstick on it. We waited for our food to arrive for over and hour, before we decided to leave. Several other tables received their food before we did, even though we were there long before. Since we were sitting near the kitchen we were able to see the kitchen full of plates that were ready to be taken to their tables just sitting their for long periods of time. Perhaps we weren't as lucky as others and got a terrible waitress but would not recommend going there! read more

Terrible just terrible. I asked for no tomatoes in my omelette bc it makes me sick and as soon as I bit into it I tasted tomato. The food quality is almost as bad as school food. I would highly not recommend read more

Well I can't comment on the food... You know what is worse than bad service? No service at all, this was our first time coming to this IHOP. We won't be going back! My family and I were seated and we waited and waited and waited while the waitress walked passes us at least 6 times with not even a I am kinda busy and will be with you as soon as I can or a look in our direction. We had enough and decided to leave. I asked to speak with the manager , at that point the waitress overheard and said in a non Caron attitude "oh it's because of me, I didn't wait on them". When I told the manager what had. Happened he said "Ok", not a I'm sorry or anything else just "Ok".... Clovis IHOP, get it together! read more

Went here on 6/12. Good breakfast with the hubby with great service. Wish I remembered our servers name, she was a sweetheart!

Best experience so far at IHOP for a Saturday morning. The wait was about 30 minutes to get seated. The server was nice and reached our table quickly. Drinks arrived and she checked on us though out the meal. The food arrived cooked thoroughly and tasted as good as expected. They would receive 5 stars if tables could be cleared more quickly so other families could be seated and served. read more

If i could give a negative number I will. We had a party of 10 and waited 3 hrs to get some of our food. Half of the table got some stuff and the other nothing and then got the ticket and it had all food on it and the "manager " was rude because we didn't want to pay for the food we didn't recived. He accused us of trying to steal food basically by saying he would have to check the cameras. We are done absolutely done with ihop. read more

What a great place to eat. The service was friendly and fast. Although the pancake maker was slow but we did get pancakes in the end so alls we'll. In terms of COVID precautions, all the staff were wearing masks and they have sheets up separating the booths. IHOPe to eat here again haha read more

After my trip to hawaii, i stopped at Ihop and their food was pretty good, fast service and cheap!

bro i can't even begin to explain how awful this place was. server brought out dirty coffee cups & when we asked for clean ones she acted like we just insulted her entire bloodline. also wanted a milkshake but they were out of ice cream (a girl near me also asked for one & was like "yall are always out of f*cking ice cream wtf" so clearly it's a problem. they didn't have their vegetarian option, their "gluten free" pancakes are not gluten free (99% sure they used regular batter) & a note for the manager: do better. cross contamination can kill someone with a gluten allergy. then the servers started stacking 2 tables one one & if anyone had bumped into that the baby next to those tables would have been literally killed or severely injured. The amount of OSHA violations, food safety violations & more was absolutely sickening. i mean it when i say i have never seen such a disgusting restaurant in my life MY SHOES STUCK TO THE FLOOR!!!!! Whoever runs this place needs to be fired immediately, go back to school, & learn how to run a restaurant. Now I wasn't expecting 5-star service from an IHOP but this has to be the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Like genuinely. Do better & if you don't have gluten free options or vegetarian options then relay that instead of nearly killing someone with celiac disease. It can be deadly . Do your mf research & your job correctly. read more

Service was not good as I had to ask for missing pancakes three times which kept getting forgotten about.

There was no wait to be seated however, the wait to receive our food was 50 minutes. The manager should consider coming around to tables to let them know there is such a wait. Our server was sweet and attentive she wore a wait short so I assume she is new or in training. The serving staff was all women and all you could hear was bickering. This was our fourth time dining and I give them a 3/5 rating because there has always been some sort of wait except in the past it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. I understand there may be struggles due to low staffing but manager at least visit your tables and secondly don't air your dirty laundry and frustrations were parties can hear. read more
