I've been to this IHOP for years and the service is usually decent. Sometimes there's a long wait on weekends, but that's to be expected. This time, we made the mistake of going for dinner -on a Tuesday- during their 56 cent short stack promotion. We were seated after 10 min., so far, so good. Then...nothing. We left after fifteen minutes of not being acknowledged, given water, or having our order taken, with my husband trying to flag someone down. We went to Allwood Diner, a more reliable, family business (with high quality food and prompt service) instead. Been to this spot several times on weekends. Quality has gone down considerably recently. In the latest incident, I got an order "to go", and they shorted me an extra order of hash browns that I paid for. And there was hair in the pancakes. This is unfortunately just the latest in a long string of incidents recently, and the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. For those still interested in this spot, be aware that parking is horrendous on weekends and holidays. They share a parking lot with a motel and the small lot is jam-packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The wait times are considerable for seating on weekends, which is why I would recommend getting your order "to go" should you decide to let them prepare food for you. I would recommend finding a higher quality establishment if you want to eat out in the mornings. There's a Mickey D's down the street, for instance. read more

This place is my very favorite. My boyfriend and i ate there yesterday to celebrate our two year anniversary and our server was Steve. He did an excellent job and made us laugh when my boyfriends tea kettle came with no water. When we told him this he took it back quickly with a smile which is always awesome because a lot of people wouldve had an attitude. Came here because my grandparents wanted to go. Place was not clean. Our table's syrup looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile and had broken crayons STUCK to them. My food seemed old, nothing fresh. It was not good. The music from the kitchen was so loud that that's what we listened to for our meal. Entering alone on Saturday 7:30 PM, greeted by what looked like an underage boy, who asked "How many?". Thinking it a joke, when I looked around I saw what seemed to be the entire wait staff gathered at the register, along with what I assumed their manager, since she was differently dressed. I went today and the sausages,eggs,and hash browns were cold which I was very disappointed in. I usually go to ihop with my family and it's usually good. But today was just different it was really crowded I understand that but it shouldn't have any effect on giving the customers what they want and what they paying for. I ordered the pancake combo which came with two sausage links,they were cold, so I thought oh she probably just forgot to get my food when It was done. So me and my family wanted another order so I ordered another order which came with 4 links. As soon as I bit into one it was cold which was very disappointing. IHOP needs to step up there game or I would not be returning here wasting my money. I also gave the woman a very good tip. But if this keeps going on I'm not gonna be returning. read more

I went to ihob Saturday on route 3.. the food was great but to top it off my waitress she was a beautiful older woman In her 80's omg she was so pleasantly welcoming and makes me want to come back and eat everyday.. we need more people in the food service like her.. her smile and attitude was awesome.. AN ok place for breakfast. Reasonably clean and good service.

This is the usual Ihop that we visit but today we left extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Our server was Junior E 20046, he was not attentive at all, we kept asking other servers and bussers for things we needed since he showed up only at the beginning to take our order. We kept having to call him for everything and he had a horrible attitude. Honestly I'm always a good tipper because I care about my servers. But this server did not deserve his tip, we payed $80 for 4 people and gratuity was included! Why was this included, he didn't even deserve it. We wanted to tip the busser who helped us instead but since they already charged for our tip we weren't able to. It was pretty expensive to have a breakfast like this, it was supposed to be endless pancakes and that was not reflected on our bill either. Disappointed because of the price, but extremely dissatisfied because of the service. Not planning on coming back. read more

well so much for a good breakfast experience.. I guess this place kind of changed over the years but after last night after a hard Day's work I needed a good breakfast so I came herethe pancakes were delicious I had churro pancakes from the international menu as my fiance had cupcake pancakes they were absolutely delicious however that's not the problem why this review is 2 * the customer service needs a lot of work..for starters yes we were sat right away which was nicehowever our server just asked us for drinks not even really welcoming himself or saying his name until later and he really wasn't cheery nor happy nor like he wanted to be there as a matter of fact I saw most of the staff like thatlast but not least this guy literally had the nerve to put someone else's dish on our check because we had to orange juice and then the pancakes that we ordered not steak tips and eggs although that would be nice if I actually ordered that but we didn't you know we didn't really order a lot so getting that on the check really was like sad I guess he wasn't focused nor did he care about his job to be honest otherwise he would be spot on I hope the service is Miles better next time because until then I don't think I'll be returning to this one anytime soon read more

Best IHOP in the area. Food and service is very prompt. Even on Sunday mornings which are notorious for long wait times. We can get seated in about 15-20 minutes. We also get our food in a decent amount of time. I love the waiters here. They are quick and courteous. I will never go anywhere else. Make this your IHOP. read more

I live near this IHOP so have gone to it many times. However, last time there was a hair in my food....a total turn-off. I've been to other IHOPS and I have to say they never look clean to me. Maybe it's because of the constant crowds, but still, the managers should make sure the floors, tables, seats, etc. are kept clean all day. Not sure if I'll go back. Another reason I don't go often is their calorie-laden menu. They need to wake up and offer vegetarian, vegan, and healthier food. read more

I have been going there for quite sometime and the one time i went with my sons I asked for a booth the girl looked at me and rolled her eyes and put us next to the bathroom. This place was not poopin at the moment and there were gnats all in the area. The waiter took our drinks for refill didn't even come back until we called out to him. I have to say I'm a burger guy, so when the waitress recommended the monster burger I took up the challenge.
