I ordered a beer and the same waitress, before my ID even left my hand, said "cmon is this fake?" To which I replied "that's crazy, I'm about to be 25. Do what you need to do to verify it's real." I didn't react with attitude, I acted startled and a little bit upset that I was accused of using a fake ID in front of my girlfriend and our friends.
