The food at this IHOP was better in every way than IHOP in Waterloo, IA. Katheryn H was an excellent server, clean and presentable! (Unlike waterloo). The restaurant was also very clean and welcoming. Will continuing eating here.

I've eaten here twice now. It's a solid eat with ok service and predictable food. They are still struggling to keep it staffed. There were signs everywhere hiring for all positions. I could tell this by the fact that the same person seated us, got our drinks, food, our bill and was bussing all tables. There were several people eating here for 10 am on a Wednesday. Our food came in an ok amount of time. I ordered the apple fritter donut French toast with hash browns, scrambled eggs and ham. It was all good. As expected. My husband ordered pancakes, bacon, hash browns and eggs. His was all cooked and prepared to his liking. For those two meals and one water, one soda it was $24. The waiter was nice even though he obviously had a lot going on with doing almost every job. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The restrooms were also clean. It was a solid experience both times I've been here.

Homemade pie slices for $2.99 in this economy is WILD, but was the posted price with a whole laundry list of flavors! YUM! This is a breakfast/lunch spot and they close at 2pm except for a few evenings that they do dinner evidently. It is ABSOLUTELY WORTH making sure you get there even with the odd times!!! The French toast is amazing and I love french toast, I had some with my omelet. The omelet is a thinner version. Cooked on a flat top, folded and filled beautifully with all the goodies I requested. It was delicious! I ate far more of both the omelet AND the french toast! Yummmm. My partner had the sampler (top left on the menu). The server said you had to try it. It had eggs, meat, a side of French toast, AND a 1/4 biscuit with gravy! We took a bite of the sausage with a bite of the biscuit and gravy which was perfect! All the food was good as was the coffee (which had beautiful full flavor and wasn't watered down... momma likes some STRONG COFFEE and theirs was perfect! Our server was also wonderful, happy, helpful, and so nice. Wish I was better with names! They were packed but moved people in and out efficiently so go give them a try!!!

The BEC Sandy had plenty of egg on it and was tasty. Portions were decent but not huge. The restaurant is long and narrow so it doesn't have a lot of out of the way places. It was also brightly lit. Coffee was good and they had a good selection of premium coffee drinks as well. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us appropriately and filled coffee as needed. All in all a really nice breakfast option different from the usual.

But, turn the corner into the diner proper and you know this is going to be some good food. It's bright and airy inside with fun decorations on the walls. We ordered the Korean Chicken Sandwich (a total favorite of the Cedar Falls native) and the single smashed burger. Thumbs up to the Korean Chicken. The smash burger was OK. The fries were delicious. The iced tea was also delicious. I know that is weird to praise, but it was. The only downside to this experience is that we ordered the potstickers as an appetizer and never got them. I would return. (Apparently, breakfast and brunch is a thing here.)

Back in the day, Greenhouse definitely did something different with their chicken. If my memory serves me correctly, they used to have seasoned, cubed chicken pieces, but it seems they have moved to a watery, shredded chicken instead. The other ingredients seemed to be the same, fresh items, but the new chicken was a big disappointment for me. The food here used to consistently hit 9+ out of 10 for me, but during my last visit it was more in the 6-7 range. Giving this spot a 4/5 rating since I'm hoping my last stop in was a fluke. Service and ambiance here is always on point!

The steak was a little dry, but other than that, it was a great meal. I got the Buffalo salad but added steak instead of chicken. The dressing wasn't fresh or homemade-tasting, so that was a bummer. It was a $15 salad, so for the price and convenience, I would come back again. The girl at the counter was welcoming, and since it was my first time, she explained how the menu worked.

Very sports-bar like atmosphere, but it was relatively quiet when we came here. I don't think I'd want to come during a game. Service was okay. I don't really remember any bad service, but I don't really remember any exceptional service. It was about on-par with what I'd expect; drinks were refilled quickly, the order was taken well, everything was accurate. Etc. Food itself was pretty good. Both myself and my partner enjoyed what we ordered. Both of us were impressed by the portion sizes too. The cost wasn't too high, and neither of us could finish what we had ordered. I really liked my Fettuccine Alfredo, but it also was literally drowned in oil and butter. When I was half-way through my dish, there was a visible "pond" of oil and butter at the bottom of the plate. It was a bit disgusting to look at, but the food did taste really, really good. I can't imagine how unhealthy it was, though - which means we probably won't come back too often. As a slight complaint, they serve their drinks in a plastic, branded cups. For some reason, the "plastic" aspect of it really bothers me. They are very clean, but they feel like "cheap" cups. I wasn't impressed by the glassware. Price ended up being pretty good. About on-par with these casual dine-in restaurants. About $30 for the two of us to go out to eat.

It's not about the .75 difference but the fact that both items were higher on the bill. It's the principle of a business raising their prices and not reflecting that change on the menu. Most people would have just paid without looking.
