A good representation of the franchise. I visited this store on a Sunday in mid-January and the parking lot was quite full when I arrived about 10AM. But I didn't have to wait for a seat and I was warmly greeted and taken to a clean table right away. The friendly waitress made sure my drink was always refilled and ensured I never wanted for anything. I ordered the Colorado omelette (with link sausage substituting for the shredded beef). It was very flavorful and very meaty, but strangely lacking any cheese. I also added the small stack of NY Cheesecake pancakes, as I've been wanting to try them. I've had similar at competitors and enjoyed them. Sadly, iHop's version isn't very impressive. The food was good, but our service was just Ok. This was his first day and he certainly was very pleasant, but he really didn't ever check on us after he brought us our food. I had the opportunity to visit the Hiram Georgia location, which is under new management. We got to meet the new manager and he is a very nice guy and is working diligently to bring everything that they do up to a higher standard. The staff was great they were very attentive and making sure that we had what we ordered and everything was good. I was there yesterday with my family. Since people have been quarantining due to the coronavirus, there wasn't that many families there (I assume that's the reason why not many families were there). I ordered the buttermilk chicken strips with fries and barbecue sauce. They tasted good, with and without barbecue sauce. I had a few fries, but became full after I finished the chicken strips so I gave the rest of the fries to my dad. I do believe, however, that IHOP in general should have more options. I was having a hard time choosing before I chose the buttermilk chicken strips. I wasn't having a hard time choosing because there were so many things to chose from, but instead because there weren't so many things to chose from. If IHOP included more options, they would attract customers of all diets. Also, the inside and outside of the restaurant was clean. Conclusion: I had a great meal at Calhoun's IHOP. Even though there are many restaurants in Calhoun, IHOP was a great choice and we weren't let down. I would recommend it for those who are hungry and are in Calhoun. read more

Very nice IHOP with a clean atmosphere and friendly service. I got 2 egg white omelettes with a stack of three strawberry banana pancakes, and it was very good. My waitress was quick to refill drinks and she checked on us frequently. Overall a good experience and above average IHOP. read more

Three if us wanted eggs over medium. We had to wait thirty minutes for our food. All were brought with over light eggs. We sent them back and got the same over light eggs again. Our pancakes were so cold that the butter would not melt at all. $68 for awful food and very poor service! read more

Came here for lunch...it's been a while since I've had IHOP. This as a joy. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was hot and fresh...also fast! I got the breakfast sampler...the low points of the meal was the sausage. It was inedible...two bites and three bones. Yuk! I will pass on the sausage next time. Egged cooked just the way I ordered, bacon just right, hash browns not greasy, ham good....and pancakes - perfect, but syrup was cold. I will come again and next time skip the sausage...and have the syrup heated. The check came to the table early...but I am good with it...I always prefer prompt payment especially for lunch! IHOP is my breakfast of choice when on the road, this one did not disappoint. Get the Belgian Waffle combo. Service was fast and efficient. This may have had something to do with it being 8:00 AM on a Saturday; 5 wait staff and a fully staffed kitchen and I'm the only one in there, although by 8:30 the place was half full. Note, yelp is showing this a couple of miles off 75 but it is within 1/4 mile. It is connected to the Motel 6 on right so don't miss it, you can't get back to it. If you do your best bet is to park at Long John Silvers and walk over. read more

It is a typical IHOP. The food was good and prepared as ordered. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was crisp. So I give the food 4 stars. I gave a 5 star because of the hospitality and the service which was excellent. Our waitress was absolutely the best! She was very nice and very attentive to our needs. The food is always nice here. Parking can get frustrating, but that's usual at most restaurants in Calhoun. However, if you have a place to be within an hour and a half, you'll be cutting it close eating breakfast here. They are slow. read more

Had a horrible experience with the manager Cassidy on the late shift. We came in with our kids at 9:45 to take advantage of the kids eat free special. We were seated and had a wonderful conversation with our waitress Brenda who was awesome for about 15 minutes there were three other tables with customers so it was not hindering anyone's services and we were not in any a hurry. We ordered shortly after 10 and about 7 minutes later we were informed that our kids could no longer eat for free after 10pm. Cassidy was rude and refused to provide us proper customer service. I will never eat here again and I will be calling the manager. I will reiterate that Brenda our server was exceptional and I saw Cassidy treating her terribly and taking out her frustrations of my complaints on Brenda who did absolutely nothing wrong.
