Eight. I paid delivery fees, service fees, probably a "breathing near the app" fee, waited all that time, tipped the driver, and somehow twelve nuggets just vanished into the void. I didn't even have the option to dramatically turn around and go back--I was stuck staring at the box like it personally betrayed me. Ordering 20 nuggets is a statement. It's confidence. It's ambition. Eight nuggets is what you get when you're trying to be responsible, and I was NOT trying to be responsible. Now I'm sitting there doing nugget math, cutting my sauce usage in half, debating which nugget deserves the last dip like I'm on some survival show. If I wanted disappointment delivered to my door, I would've ordered a salad. Twelve nuggets are out there somewhere, living the life I was supposed to have.

On this Saturday morning it was for breakfast and I wanted to try their "fully loaded" croissan'wich. These sandwiches have definitely shrunk over the years (see my photo, to see how small it is). But at least the croissant is a nice version. I found the ham dominated the texture a bit much. So, I'd probably just go with the sausage and egg version next time. The breakfast rounds were nicely cooked, hot and fresh, and are a nice pairing. The interior of the store was clean and neat and nicely decorated. The staff that I spoke to were helpful. But I had the unfortunate timing to arrive when management was having a meeting in the dining room with all their staff. I was able to find a table but wore earbuds to block out the awkward and disgruntled comments of the less respectful employees. You could cut the air with a knife it was so cringe. In my many visits I've never had that misfortune, so it's very unlikely to happen again. So it won't put me off from visiting.

When in northern Georgia, I find myself seeking out QT gas stations when my car is telling me that it is time to fill up. The reason is, as stated before, what lays beyond the doors to the store within. Not only are there surprisingly good hot dogs and toppings on rollers, but a food counter, a long row of coffee, iced tea, and soda selections, as well as the usual gas station offerings. Service is also obviously a corporate focus, you are created upon entry and the crew works diligently to meet the customer's needs, certainly a challenge. I recommend finding one if you are in Georgia. I am confident that you will seek them out time and time again when in their area.
