Food was good, service was slow. Waited almost over a half hour for a burger and sandwich. Others around us got food fast.

The service was great. Drinks were quick waitress was friendly. The chicken wings were superb. Best we have had since we moved to this area. We had the Honey Sriracha and the Spicy Garlic Parm. We will be back. Awesome wings. read more

The food tastes like it was cooked in old grease. I did not enjoy it at all. I went to location in Summerville, GA.

We came in took forever to get even asked to get our drinks, and after asking what we wanted we waited at least 20 minutes to get it. Says under new management but obviously it's worse than before. read more

We found this place a few years ago, and loved it! Became our new favorite spot! Then, it slowly became our least favorite spot! Every time, it got worse and worse! Cold, yucky food... bad service... a few weeks ago, we decided to try it again. Online said it closed at 10... we walked in to a packed restaurant at 9:45. Ok yeah, we get it, they are ready to close... however, when we walked in, the waitress looked at her phone and then yelled at us, WERE CLOSED!!! Embarrassing in front of a packed restaurant... we walked back out and down a block to Los Maguey, where they were happy to serve us hot, delectable food! Will honestly never go back to Jefferson's again! Just don't waste your time when thatcher's is across the street and Mexican is a few steps away! read more

Staff was friendly and very quick to serve our party. Will make the stop there again when passing through!! Love those chicken wings read more

Jefferson's - a jeep parked in front of a building - Burgers Near Me - Summerville, Georgia

My waitress took care of me while I dined in at this restaurant. She kept my sweet tea full at all times. The food was delicious, service great and nice clean restaurant at its best. Their parking lot was small and full so, I had to settle with street parking about one block away. Menu items ordered: hamburger Steak with onions, potato salad, baked beans, toasted bread and sweet tea (See photo taken of lunch). The hamburger steak was cooked just right and delicious. The baked beans were the best ever, and potato salad tasted great too. The toasted bread was still warm when they brought it to me. So I enjoyed my meal here. Other menu items; appetizers, salads, deserts, beer, seafood, burgers, wings, sandwiches, platters, wraps, chicken tender baskets, and etc. For families, they also have kids meals. So, I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I was not impressed. There was actually no love put in the food and they were out of alot of menu items when we dined, but honestly what else could I expect with a restaurant, located in a small town with minimum competition. That's a huge statement. For the price of the shrimp basket it was VERY skimpy. We couldn't eat the salad because the lettuce was translucent. The wings came out cold. I ordered the tacos and it looked NOTHING like the photo. The slaw had no sauce it was literally dry and the tortilla tasted stale. The tortilla chips were fried stale. We wanted oysters but they were out and after trying our food we joked that we were glad they were out of oysters because they might have been a disappointment as well. With such limited choices of restaurants to choose from in Summerville, my question to the owners and managers of this restaurant, why not treat the community better and serve them quality food? Why not up your non-existent competition? This is why people spend their money in Rome, GA and not their own community and a huge reason why big corporations buy out small companies like yours. This why when people go to bigger cities and out of the country their palette can not take appreciation to different cultures spices because of food like this. Hopefully the kitchen staff finds a way to change these things and keep consistent. read more

My husband and I love Jefferson's. Summerville is limited on restaurants so we frequent Jefferson's, especially during football season. We have only lived in the area for 1 year, but have only had good experiences at Jefferson's. Food is good, I especially like the patty melt and the chicken nachos. The pretzels are always a good appetizer and beer is always cold. Our service is always wonderful. The girls do a great job keeping our drinks full and getting us any extras we need. Nice to sit and relax with good food, service and TVs to watch games. read more

We went in for lunch today, I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was SALTY! Apparently there's a new cook destroying their food, the food server comped my meal and confirmed the food was being over salted. Take the salt shaker away from the new cook, they should know better. Even though I only took one bite, I can still feel the effects of the sodium. It tasted intentionality too salty, it was totally inedible. I'll eat there again someday but no time soon. read more

Service was decent but after waiting 30mins for our food it came out burnt and dry, the lettuce on my burger was old and the egg on my husbands burger was like rubber. The manager took both off and the server suggested next time we tell her sooner (we had taken two bites) and that she would get it remade for us. After waiting as long as we did the first time I wouldn't want to wait again especially considering people who sat down after us with similar orders got their food first. read more

My wrap was average. Limited seating if you want to sit outside. Cleanliness is something they could work on . Masks are not required. Not all of the patrons were wearing masks when they entered the restaurant. The other diners at my table aka my family enjoyed their meal. read more

We ordered two chicken wrap and it took an hour to get our food. Luckily they comped our meal.

The food was basic sandwiches and fries, nothing special, but it was tasty. We sat outside and it was just needing the attention of a broom and some scrubbing. Thank goodness the ceiling fans were off since they were coated with dust. Great service. read more

Came in here in on recommendation from several locals. Wife and I got the wings medium heat with fries and sweet tea. We both thought the wings were solid (they are fried) nice and crispy. There wasn't a ton of sauce on them so they had some decent snap to them as my wife said without being too wet. The fries were awesome we both thought. The sweet tea was the very epitome of Georgia sweet tea -- sweet very sweet but what would you expect you are in Georgia and you ordered sweet tea. The wings could have had more celery -- which may seem like a knock but it isn't because the celery was everything it should be but usually isn't at a wing place -- crisp and decent size -- three sticks came with each order. The service was good. It helped we got here before the lunch rush started (most likely between 12 and 12:15 we got here at 1140 read more

Great food, surf and turf varieties, in door and out door dining. Surprising to find this variety and quality in a small community.

Tonight's dinner was horrible - chicken tenders tasted like they were microwaved. Wings were under cooked. Horrible.

Loved the size and quality of the wings, but there was very little sauce so they were a bit dry. The macaroni and cheese was dry, with little cheese and no flavor, like something from a school cafeteria , but the bacon cheese fries made up for it and my wife enjoyed the fried pickles. Also, the coke taste like they either need to change out the syrup or mix up the carbonation ratio, because it taste like the fountain soda from a gas station not a restaurant. Would come back, but might order differently. read more

If you aren't local, they will ignore you. We got our drinks and then we're ignored as the locals came in. Really really wanted to try the food. They need more servers and some lessons or food service etiquette! If you are going to make people wait while you get other orders and checks.. at least say I will be right back, do t act like we are not there! read more

Jefferson's is so much fun and the food is great! I recommend getting the burgers or the double dipped wings. Tuesday nights are the best time to go and have a beer with friends, eat good food, and play trivia! read more

someone needs to start cleaning. dried food on the utensils, dirty ketchup bottles, first impression was yuck. followed by horribly overcooked burger. how can you call yourself a burger place when you can't cook any burger anything but well-done? Fries were cold and overcooked. Wings were a soggy mess topped by boring, pre-packaged sauce. guess they can't be bothered to make their own sauces. if you really want a good burger, I suggest you keep driving down the road to Lyerly where that little drive-through burger place really does know how to produce a great hamburger. read more

I have eaten at several different locations but the Summerville location did not come close to the quality of food I have had before. The Jefferson chicken I ordered was over cooked along with the burnt bacon on top. Could barely cut it with a knife. This was our first time ordering from here, as we live very close, but sadly it will be our last. The automatic added gratuity because of the pandemic had us paying $28 for two plates. Not worth it read more

We love Jeffersons but the one in Summerville is subpar. I have definitely had better. It's a decent place to grab a bite locally, but if you really want Jeffersons I'd suggest Rome, Cartersville, or Cedartown. read more

Wow, I have stopped at this place four times now and have to say the wings are some of the best I ever had for fried wings, I live in Atlanta and have not found wings as good as these for the money at home. I go to Huntsville a lot so I now plan my trip to be at Jefferson's for lunch when going there. The wings are really Jumbo not like a lot of places that call theirs jumbo and they really are not. Also the staff is some of the friendliest I have seen (all of them). Enjoy read more

The place colsed down in Summerville this place was my go to for barbeque wings. The great memories I had there

Usually love this place. But tonight was really bad. Waited an hour for appetizers and then 1 hour and 40 min for our meal. Nachos were not prepared as usual. It was like someone new or someone that did not know what they were doing was in the kitchen. All we heard was it will be right out. No apologies or explanation . read more

Pretty sure in the time I waited I could have gone to the back and filled everyone's orders who were waiting all by myself. "It'll be right out" translates to an hour wait for an appetizer... Used to love this place. read more

Fried pickles are very good, we had the chicken Philly cheesesteak and it was very good. Large enough to split if you get the fried pickles first. Wing sauce is really good as well, someone had fried chicken tenders with wing sauce. Really good. Service was top notch as well. We were in town for a game, will eat there again if we're up this way. read more

Absolutely loved this cute little restaurant. We were spending a couple days at James H Floyd State Park and stopped in this place on a whim. We sat at the bar and the nicest man started talking with us. He encouraged us to try the wings. They were amazing! So glad we took his advice. His wife is a waitress there...sweetest couple ever! All the staff were incredibly friendly. We loved it so much we came back the next afternoon and had the wings again. Will definitely come back the next time we are in Summerville!! read more

Wow! Just left Jefferson's in Summerville...went there for lunch with coworkers. My salad came with a baby roach walking out of the bottom of the bowl! They "replaced it" with another salad and the bill which was almost $11.00. Stated they wouldn't even discount the meal! They didn't even offer an apology...oh well, at least they didn't charge for the extra protein! Won't be back there anytime soon. Posted for a friend. read more

Went there for lunch. Got my order and it was wrong. Sent it back and got back my food that I had already eaten off of with blue cheese crumbles tossed all over it. Instead of preparing fresh and I'm pretty sure you shouldn't take food that has been eaten back into the clean kitchen and my other half of the wrap was barely wrapped back up. They did take my food off the bill but still charged me the $1 for the crumbles. This is how I got it back from the kitchen. read more

Jefferson's in Summerville is always great. This trip did not disappoint. I am now addicted to lemon pepper rinds. Keep up the good work!

We go here pretty often because my fiancé likes the wings, but every time we go the experience gets gradually worse. The wait tonight was over 45 minutes for a salad and wings. I ordered a Caesar salad, and the chicken on it was cold and the Parmesan cheese was the grated kind that you find at pizza places. I have never seen a Caesar salad like that and it was disgusting. If the restaurant isn't going to make a well known item correctly, then why have it on the menu? Not to mention that we had been charged for a pitcher of beer that we didn't order. If I hadn't looked at the check we would have paid an extra $10 for our waitresses mistake. Overall the experience was terrible and we won't be back. read more

We had the occasion to travel to Summerville, Georgia this past week, and we wanted to return to Jefferson's Restaurant , downtown, for some of their super fried oysters. Very disappointed that they were out of oysters. Instead we opted for a burger that turned out to be equally as good as the fried oysters that I would normally order. The restaurant is small, cozy, clean, and welcoming. The servers all displayed true "southern hospitality",and all worked with award winning smiles. These folks really appreciate their customers. Todd, the owner, was concerned that the oysters were not available, but when we went back the next night with ten family members, he had indeed ordered more oysters. Superb. When in Summerville, this is the go to place. Quality of service and product beyond good. Enjoy the food and the company. read more

Excellent atmosphere and perfect for our little town. You can watch a game there or have a casual family dinner. I love that it offers both.
