Not only were the prices from the site different than Grubhub, but we were missing the celery & carrots on both meals and we received no ranch. First visit to Calhoun location. Wings were over cooked. Onion rings heavy on batter and extremely heavy on salt. Fish sandwich was on a hoagie roll so high bread to protein ratio. Fish battered in same salty concoction as o-rings. Blue cheese dressing and tartar sauce prepackaged Ken's brand. Some sort of homemade dipping sauce for wings and rings similar to the famous onion blossom sauce. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Overall not impressed...will not be part of our regular restaurant rotation. read more

The wings I got were traditional and we got mango habanero and teriyaki lemon pepper. Had the Spicy Thai wings which didn't disappoint and the gyro was delicious...I only gave 3 stars bcoz placed my order to go and my fries were put in the same container as my wings and when I got them home they were dripping with the Thai sauce and completely soggy so had to throw them out they were inedible. I will be back but next will have my fries packed in different container. Tried the gyro and chicken fried rice...large portion...awesome fried rice...better than any Chinese house in town...gyro really 7/14 ordered the Gyro Special with a side of chicken fried rice...ordered extra meat on the gyro and requested extra tzazitki sauce on the side along with soy and duck sauce. Whoever manages this place has got look into who they're hiring. I've been a good amount of times both day & night. The young hispanic girl, the tall brown haired girl and the pregnant girl are all very sweet, always make sure that I am taken care of. I used to come a while back & was taken care of by a girl I believe her name was Megan. I haven't caught the others names yet. Food seems a little more scarce during the day especially sauce on wings but maybe that's a lunch menu thing. We've been coming mostly on weekends and food has been wonderful but the service at night seems a lot more rough lately. I came in by myself 2 weeks ago & my server was alright but reeks of cigarettes and weed. We come a couple days ago & get the another girl. She also has an extremely foul body oder smell, looks very unkept and was basically asking & begging for tips, I understand these girls get paid most off their tips but I've never witnessed a server doing something like that. Food was great, per usual but it's a little off putting to have to smell my server the times she did check on me. The other older lady I was served by the other time was there as well seemed to be stepping out to take smoke breaks, my server seeming to always disappear. Well tonight I have a craving for some wings and a Philly. I prefer here over dukes so I try calling in to place an order, line is busy. I call again busy again. They must have had the phone off the hook all night because everytime I called it said busy. I usually don't have this issue when I decide to order take out with them but this is the 3rd time I've received poor service here the only thing keeping my business is the half of the staff that are wonderful & the great food I've gotten from here. While visiting Calhoun, GA on Oct., 20,2023 we decided to search for wings. We came across World of Wings and went. There was one other family there ( which should have been our first clue.) My husband decided on the Wing platter with fries. I decided on the burger. I first called the waitress over to ask if the burger there was anything like the picture on the menu ( which was HUGE) she stated it was most definitely like the picture and more than most could eat. I ordered and when it arrived, the bun was indeed huge, but the burger itself looked like a sausage patty. It was dry and had no tomato or onion that I had specified. My husbands wings were palatable, but dry as well with out much flavor. We could have just counted our losses, but they were playing rap music with countless obscenities and kitchen staff were yelling at each other and dropping the "F" bomb repeatedly. We couldn't get a waitress back. We paid and left. Pretty disgusting place. We didn't finish our food. Lesson learned. World of Wings. read more

Counter-service style space, but with full-service. Service was very friendly, attentive, and southern. Got "Hot Lemon Pepper" wings. I'd call them medium, tops. Basically regular buffalo with lemon pepper seasoning shook on. Tasty. Good flavor. But holy cow did I get some tiny mini-wings. One regular size, 2 or 3 kinda smallish, 5 or 6 that were half the normal size. That's not ok. Fries were good, blue cheese is prepackaged. Fair place. Smallish. I normally don't post reviews, but this a public health concern. STAY AWAY!!! My first day eating here on Friday, 6 SEPT 2019 at 6 p.m. Let's start with the positive: service was great & that is it, so I gave at least 1 star. So for my list of what I would advise the manager to fix: 1. Clean your restaurant to include the bathroom. There is no reason why the floors n the eating area should be sticky. I would hate to see what your cooking area looks like. 2. Hire cooks that bathe. One cook jeans needed to be in washing machine. 3. Make sure your cooks are not taking excessive smoke breaks. The other cook took 4 smoke breaks in the 45 mins I was there. And because I was by the doorway, I smelled it as he walked in each time. I can't confirm if he washes his hands afterwards. 4. Train your cooks how to cook. My two fried fish tacos and one grilled shrimp taco with fries was not appetizing. I actually feel like I need to regurgitate. Barf I actually think I would feel better. Cheap food, but you get what you pay for!!! read more

I don't usually leave reviews but considering it made my 2 year old sick, I figured I i would let others know a little about our experience. First off, we ordered a to go, pickup order for 6 o'clock. We got there a little early and still ended up leaving after 625. We got 10 traditional wings hot lemon pepper, 5 boneless honey bbq and 5 buffalo shrimp, and a chicken tender kids meal. My husbands wings were good, he was satisfied with them with no issues. My boneless were good, nice flavor but a little chewier than I'm used to and my buffalo shrimp were well, not buffalo. No flavor at all. But not terrible. My daughter who's 2, ate chicken tenders that were hard as rock on the outside, so after tearing the rock hard outside off, She ate the inside chicken and fries. She woke up puking it all up in the middle of the night and then some, and then absolutely nothing else. We took her into her pediatrician and ruled that it was more than likely the chicken she had eaten. Maybe they forgot about our order and quickly fried chicken tenders and crisped the outside but didn't cook all the way on the inside. I'm bummed we didn't find our new wing spot, but I don't want to take the chance again. read more

I am so disappointed I can cry. I only have 30 min of a lunch break, so I called in my order and was hung up on 3 times before they took my order. That should of been my sign but I ordered anyway. When I arrived the 2 girls standing behind the register looked dazed and confused... the only one who looked as if they knew what day it was - was busy waitressing for the entire restaurant. It took a very long time to get my food together and it was a simple order... I had ordered the food 20 minutes prior and that still wasn't enough time ? when I returned back to work LATE-my gyro had 7 pieces of meat ( I COUNTED ) & appeared to be dunked in oil, all I could taste was the grease, my co-workers chicken salad had no chicken in it... the onion rings were soggy and horrible... the only thing right was the drinks woops I mean my drink, my co-workers was wrong. They offered a discount for hanging up on me 3 times, but did not honor it. This was my first time trying this place. I was told that the food was great ? did I miss something ? did the cook get fired ? DO NOT EAT THERE. I'm still hungry and wish I could attach photos to this review. I am very very very very disappointed. WORLD OF WINGS-CALHOUN GEORGIA After calling the restaurant to complain the manager was very apologetic and offered to remake our food and bring it to us... they normally do not deliver however she did bring it all the way to our job. This place has really gone downhill. The wings are small and tough and this is their claim to fame so that definitely needs improvement. Food takes quite awhile to be served, probably because the cooks are always walking outside to smoke. My wife and I had been wanting to try this place out since they just opened a few weeks ago. So last night we phoned in a carry out order. I am usually a skeptic about a restaurant that offers a wide array of plates such as they do. I had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and fries and she ordered the chicken quesadilla. The lady that took our order was pleasent (on the phone) with the exception of repeating 'yes honey','sure sweetheart', 'yes dear' over and over and over. Anyways, she took our order and informed my wife that to add french fries to her meal it would be a buck more. No big deal. Well, I went inside to pick up our order, Very nice place! They grabbed our food, which was waiting for us (no wait time here!) they offered to open the plates for me to take a peek... I am thinking, okay this place is working out pretty good, ( until we get home :-/) We sat down to eat and the first fry I toss in my mouth was warm but NOT cooked. The potato in the fry was grainy which means it wasn't even close to being fried long enough- so I couldn't eat those. The philly was decent, the meat was a tad bit too salty. Pretty much bowling ally type sandwich. My wife's plate wasn't getting any more stars than mine. There were no fries on her plate, even after the upcharge of a buck! Her quesadilla was also too salty, so much that she didn't eat it. We will probably try this place out again in a few months- maybe it was just the cook having a bad day or ... who knows. read more

I placed a to go order to pick up. Several times, I specifically told the waitress that I am on chemotherapy and have to have THE most bland food available, no spice whatsoever. I ordered the fish and 5 shrimp with fries. Fries were OK, shrimp was OK, but the fish was ridiculously hot. While picking up the order, I asked the waitress what the black specks were on the fish and the cook told her they were in the breading. I specifically asked several times if anything in it was spicy or had pepper and was repeatedly told no. When I got home and tried the fish, I had to rinse out my mouth several minutes to get the burn out of my mouth. I called the restaurant to let them know that the fish breading was very spicy and they hadn't warned me or I wouldn't have ordered it. The girl on the phone simply said she was sorry and had nothing to do with the kitchen. I've spent over $12 for five smallish shrimp and fries.
