Probably one of the worst breakfast I've ever had from any restaurant The pancakes, we just don't get what they did to them, but they were not fluffy at all, completely dry, and they completely separate separated. The bacon was completely disgusting as it did not have any flavor of bacon, but just oil, and it took forever to get the food out. The restaurant was not even half full, so there's no reason why the quality should have been that bad. We are local locals and I have been there three times and it seems every time we go there's new people and from what our server told us pretty much all the originals when it first opened are gone because corporate is treating them like garbage, many of them only get five hours a day and only get one day a week and they expect them to be there for them when they're needed. This is no way to treat staff, especially in a small community like this. I highly recommend teddy bears, grizzly Mainer, mountain munchies as a far better choice for breakfast. The server was the only pleasant thing about our experience, but we will never be going back again as we know this will not get better because when the manager came by and asked how things were and we let him know they were not that great. Don't waste your time trying to get a table here. They give their tables to the people they know/people off shift (we literally heard them make the "oh you're working today" comment). They sat a party of 12 even after we were told that specific table was ours after it was cleaned off...twice...lol. Then they told us another table was going to be ours adding another 20 minutes on top of already waiting 40 minutes. Idk I've worked in restaurants/retail and it's always a big deal giving customers the first choice before employees off shift. Do better. read more

This was my boyfriend's and I first time here at ihop/applebees. Super excited to try this place out. We sat at the bar top. I hand over my id to the bartender and tells me I can't sit there. I ask why ? And looks confused and ask to see it again. We ordered our drinks and food. The drinks were good. The food looked good. Super excited to eat until I realized I had no utensils. My boyfriend's meal didn't have any ranch. Waited to see if bartender would come by to check up on us. NOTHING. Eventually my food was getting cold already. I asked to speak to a manger. He came by I explained what was going on. He apologized and gave us what we needed. The food was cold and I couldn't enjoy my food at all. I ended up leaving everything behind. We asked for the check and noticed we got charged for everything. Didn't bother to give us a small discount for the inconvenience. We're local and finally decided to check out the new IHOP/Applebee's on Easter Sunday. We were expecting it to be a little chaotic but were pleasantly surprised to find the opposite. Although it was busy, our server Tiffany P. was attentive and friendly, and our food was exactly as ordered and delicious. My boyfriend and I experienced racial profiling at this restaurant. Our experience was fine until my boyfriend's chicken came to the table raw.. He was going to order something else instead but then decided to cancel that order. Our server graciously came back to let us know he spoke with his manager and our meal would be comped. On our walk back to our car, some random older lady server (blond hair with glasses) approached us at our vehicle, along with FIVE police officers, and accused us of not paying for our meal. I couldn't believe we were being accused of stealing.. and honestly the only reason I could think why she would think that is because my boyfriend and I are Latino. After her rude approach, I told her next time she should check with her workers before accusing people of stealing. All that was on our table was $11.99 pancakes that weren't even finished because we were disgusted by the raw chicken. I did not get this lady's name unfortunately. Do not come here. They have a racist server and they serve raw chicken. The only highlight was our server who had been kind enough to speak with the manager to comp our meal. read more

Had ordered a bacon and egg hash brown combo and that apparently can not be ordered through there system, you have to get a meal from menu anyhow, bacon taste like cardboard, eggs seemed real and ok, hash browns were good but everything else was bland. Food was overall served really fast. But I go out to eat for good food and that didn't happen. I guess it's better than McDonalds. read more

I'm not a big breakfast person but this ihop just opened in town so I decided to give it a shot. They did a good job renovating the building and it was clean inside. Loud & busy for a Tuesday which surprised me. I was hoping for a quiet meal. The service was ok & so was the food. Expensive for what you get... somehow my omelette got marked up by $7 for subbing one ingredient & adding avocado lmao that's insane imo (and look how tiny the avocado amount is) on the menu it said it would be a $2 markup so I'm confused but whatever. $5 coffee with no refills... I just don't feel that what I got was worth $30 plus tip. If I want to spend that for breakfast I'll go to a small business not a chain but that's just me. This was a one & done for me but maybe I'll try the Applebees menu sometime idk... hidden charges just pmo read more

The place is well done and inviting for diners. Service was okay. Coffee had no taste at all. Dark color. Hot. But no taste at all and for over four dollars a cup, not worth it. Big burrito felt premade and reheated. And I am a person who has always loved to grab pancakes at IHOP. Well, for some reason the recipe is still down the hill because these were the worst pancakes I have ever had. Cold and dough was separated top and bottom. I hope they figure it out. Too nice a place for big bear to have mediocre food. I would start by serving a pancake that is well cooked and the scoop of butter on top actually melts because they were freshly made. Our first experience at the new IHOP/Applebees. Not impressed. I ordered the broccoli/chicken Alfredo it was barely warm and very dry. Sauce tasted like it waswas out of a can. My husband has the mushroom/ Swiss burger. Cold mushrooms, cold grilled onions, cold French fries. My daughter ordered grilled cheese burger and her fries were also cold. We ordered an appetizer and it was served after our dinner was served. They were also out of the bacon for my daughter's burger and out of broccoli for my Alfredo. Such a disappointment. They still charged us full price even though no bacon or broccoli . I had high hopes. So disappointing. read more

My husband and I were looking forward to eating here, but it was very disappointing. The server was slightly rude, and our food was cold when it was brought to us. We told our sever it was cold and all she said was, "oh I'll talk to them in the back." She did nothing to fix it at all. The coffee tasted like they had given us decaf when we ordered regular. And honestly the water had more flavor than the hash browns and eggs. The only good part was the pancakes, and even those were cold. read more
