Very patient, warm, smiling, great suggestions, not in a hurry to discuss the options, even talked about possible customizations for our food. It's like their menu is unlimited because Jiana's the type that she will do things because she can and because she wants her customers happy. Perfect example was my cesar salad as a side. It wasnt an option but she made it herself! And it's the kind of cesar salad that I like! Right balance of cheese, anchovies and garlic so good! She was busy but it felt like she had time for everyone and even more! Thank u soo much Jiana! Maybe when we come.back next year hopefully you will be a supervisor or promoted again you deserve it! You and the other 2 ladies were the only ones who seem like they enjoy their jobs hope u guys rub off on them hehe Okay. FOOD REVIEW. Cesar salad - sooo good! Read above for review. Truffle fries -i loooove how it was cooked! Crispy but not hard! Soft on some but more on crispy side! Cheese on top yes pls! The truffle was right amount, not too overwhelming! But the winner was the dips/sauces that came with it. The Chipotle catsup and garlic aioli. Hubby loved the Chipotle and I love the aioli. It was so good, we used it on our burgers too! The aioli might be a bit on the thicker side but it's too good to be turned off by the consistency! There's that taste that u get after a second or 2 that just elevates everything American wagyu steak burger - the burger was good. It would have been better if it was cooked to my liking.. I ordered medium well but it was more medium rare to medium.. but the aioli just made it soo good! I also added the bacon and cheese (great recommendation Jiana! You're so awesome!) . The brioche bun was a bit too hard or not so new? But.. it the burger was decent.. wouldn't order it again though.. Oakside burger - hubby ordered this and medium well. Omg it was cooked to perfection! With char too! Who would say no to a great char soo.. hubby doesnt eat onions.. but Jiana is sooo awesome that she still included the tempura battered onion on the side, instead of in the burger because it was that good! A must try! LOL I was eating it and hubby stopped me coz he loved it! Hehehe thank u Jiana!!! Eggs and bacon was also added per jiana's reco and it was sooo good. So yes, we would order this burger again It was hubby's birthday so it was super nice that jiana had the initiative to give him this cake :) it was a great way to end our meal! The raspberry just elevated the cake so much! So yes, the food was great but jiana was the best! We'll be back for sure!

We're a family of four with a well-behaved standard poodle, so we completely understood that our seating options were limited. What we didn't understand was watching two other families with dogs arrive after us and get seated well before us, along with what felt like half of Big Bear. Our "table is ready" text finally arrived 53 minutes after we joined the waitlist. If the real wait is an hour, just say an hour. At least then we could have taken our dog for a hike, grabbed lunch somewhere else, and possibly returned in time for our table.

Four Words.....CHICKEN FRIED STEAK BURGER!…read more OMG! The bun was gourmet, the burger patty had to be at least 8 oz, that was placed on top of an entire chicken fried steak, American cheese lettuce tomato onion and all topped with fried egg and BACON! I have a huge appetite and I rarely leave a restaurant with a doggy bag but this burger coupled with fresh out of the fryer french fries caused me to take half of this burger home. I just finished the other half and it was still amazing. This burger alone will cause me to be a resident regular at Teddy Bears! If you choose to order it, just make sure you're hungry! Their Ceaser salad had way too much dressing to the point where it was soggy! Overall it was an alright place for our weekend getaway lunch. But we would not eat here again.

Stopped by on 8/9 with four adults and two kids after a trip to the Zoo. We were seated quickly and service was friendly. Good variety of beers. To start, we had a surprisingly tasty birria quesadilla and creamy avocado egg rolls (fried well, not at all greasy). The poké nachos were light and flavorful, but could use a bit more ahi for the price. For the burgers, we did a couple of the Declaration Day and the Bat Country (favorite). One person chose Born on the Bayou chicken sandwich, and regretted it. The flattened chicken was overcooked and lacked seasoning. Fries are great along with the exceptional housemade ranch. We were told the brussels sprouts were one of the most popular items but they were not at all a standout.

The vibe felt like we were eating Sunday breakfast at grandma's. Our server recommended the lattes since they make their own syrups. We got cinnamon brown sugar & bananas foster and they did not disappoint. They were insanely good--and not too sweet/sugary. We also got breakfast burritos with bacon and a side of sour cream and the spicy salsa (it wasn't actually spicy). If you like tangy, vinegar, jalapeño goodness, you MUST get the salsa. Then, while waiting for the check, I made the mistake of reading the one-star reviews. Now I *had* to leave one. Yes, the food isn't served at lightning speed. Ours wasn't either. And you know what? It was worth every minute. This is a small, family-run restaurant--not a corporate chain with an army of cooks hidden behind swinging kitchen doors. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, tasted homemade, and arrived hot and fresh. The staff was warm, welcoming, and working incredibly hard. As a bonus, they're genuinely dog-friendly. We were able to enjoy breakfast with our pup on the patio, and they even have a dog menu. That's not just "dogs allowed"--that's a business that goes the extra mile. Somewhere along the way we've confused "not instant" with "bad service." We expect fresh, made-to-order food from small businesses to appear with fast-food timing, then punish them when it doesn't. Patience has become a lost art. If you're in a hurry, there are plenty of drive-thrus. If you want an outstanding breakfast, friendly people, a place that welcomes your dog as warmly as it welcomes you, and food that's worth waiting for, Broadway Cafe is absolutely deserving of its reputation. We'll happily be back.
