Off of the Senior Menu. Side of pancakes included.
Alice I.

We were in the area for an appointment and wanted breakfast after. The plan was to try Toast, which was an equal amount of distance away from where we were. However, when we called Toast, the girl on the phone said there was a 40 minute wait and she was also rude. So we immediately opted out. It was 11:30am on a Thursday. We then decided to go to the old standby, IHOP. This location was off Sunrise Highway, around the left side of the mall. It has its own entrance from the outside and plenty of parking. We could see from the windows that there was hardly anyone inside. It was pouring rain and we were hungry. So we went against the low rated Yelp reviews and empty seats, and listened to our stomachs (and the hangry tweenager). We were kindly greeted upon entering. We asked for a booth and got seated at a clean table by the windows. Our waitress came right over to take our drink order. She was kind and efficient. An apple juice, a pot of decaf and a pot of regular coffee came to the table hot and fresh. We needed a few minutes to look over the menu and she obliged. We placed our order when she came back. We had a few questions and she answered them all with a smile. I would like to say that I had very low expectations because of our local IHOP where we live. We used to go often and it is so poorly run. The food is always wrong and always COLD! I don't get why it's always crowded. Who wants cold pancakes!? We spoke to a manager every time, who fixed the food and apologized, which is great...but it was literally EVERY. TIME. So we stopped going there. Well, this experience was the exact opposite. When the food came out, not only was it all correct, but it was also HOT! The way it's supposed to be. We were a party of 3 hungry gals and not one morsel was left on our plates. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the prices. They were pretty high and they charge you for every little thing. But that's not the fault of the restaurant. We paid $70 bucks for breakfast, for 3 people. At IHOP. We were able to take our time and enjoy our meal and each other's company. We were also given coffee cups to go for whatever was not finished from the pot. We would definitely come back again if in the area. Sorry TOAST.

Went on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. No wait. We was sitting all the way in the back. Half chairs, half booth. The booth chair was broken. But the pancakes taste good. Eggs were a little runny but sausage taste good. Overall go for the pancakes.

I love a good omelet and friendly smile. IHOP had both. The restaurant was busy and had a little wait, but everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Tables were clean and cleared with efficiency. The food was excellent and well worth the $90 tab. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. She provided excellent suggestions and allowed us the perfect amount of space and service. I was very pleased with her service. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We were given a military discount as 2 of the 4 of us were service members. They do also offer a senior discount as we were informed.

Went to visit family in LongIsland NY and the family wanted to eat at the I-Hop at 1701 sunrise Hwy in bay Shore. They ordered a couple of different things, they didn't enjoy. I after seeing many times on t.v. Wanted to try there Burrito (Big Mistake) I ordered the egg & bacon burrito. It consisted of hot microwaved egg , cold stale hash browns, cold shredded mixed cheese And some crumbled bacon . Do yourself a favor Don't Bother I will save you the money, it sucked ass.

I usually have a good experience at this one. But today is just not it. Food was cold, and literally had a hair embedded in my Glad they didn't put the onions in it that I actually asked for or I wouldnt have seen it. Im sorry... that just turned me completely off. Im not on of those people to complain in a place but the waiter didnt even ask us how were things. I watched him go to every table and smiling and asking how they were soooo much. But not once did he asked why i pushed my plate to the end. That's just aint it!! I tip good too and im a lil pissed but it's IHOP shouldn't expect much

For a fast food restaurant this IHOP is one of the best I have eaten at and I have been to a few I had the sampler platter which came out exactly as ordered the hash browns were the best I've had at an IHOP and the waitress was on point very attentive and friendly, she made sure that we had everything we needed and some and the food was good I will definitely go back and if you're in the area give them a try

Chocolate chip pancakes

Me and my 2 year old came here Wednesday morning for a late breakfast. The service was very good! He was patient as we took a little while to figure out what we wanted. I got a 4 stack of chocolate chip pancakes that my son and I shared (it was more than enough for the two of us). They have us extra napkins without asking, definitely not their first rodeo with children eaters lol. Coffee was good. Price was good. Overall a good breakfast. Also a little tip: after 4pm kids eat free!

The service is never good here but the food is always standard. My kids love the food so it's a plus! This place would be better if the service was better. The waitress today took my order and someone else brought my food then i had to wait for a good while to get my check. Not very personable and the servers ALWAYS cut me and my kids off when we are walking through the restaurant. As someone who has been a server I find that insanely rude. You should always let the customer walk and not cut them off and walk ahead of them.

Had a late breakfast with hubby after getting back from the ATL. Had the Hawaiian King French toast with bananas and strawberries and lots of whipped cream topping.

We've been here for brunch and dinner, and everything is always delicious. Some of our favorites: the Texas street corn dip, maple chipotle wings, Napa Valley goat cheese bites, and the Bayou Creole seafood squid ink pasta (my kids call it the black pasta and they're obsessed). The Scottsdale seared mahi-mahi and Cowboy Bloom lavender chicken were amazing too. And don't skip the Hawaiian lava cake. The glitter mocktails were such a fun touch for the kids. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and unique concept, and accessibility done right.

What has changed more noticeably is the management. The atmosphere used to feel warm, welcoming, and inviting, but unfortunately, the management style has become much more rigid. It has gotten to the point where my husband and I actually avoid engaging with the manager (Scott), who is currently there. That's unfortunate because the overall dining experience could be so much better. Do your customers a favor and bring Andrews back. His interaction with guests was truly top-notch. The combination of appealing presentation, satisfying flavors, and substantial servings made the meal especially enjoyable. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It was the kind of dining experience where we could settle in, enjoy each bite, and leave feeling satisfied rather than rushed. Overall, I would definitely recommend Americano's Pie Bar in Islip to anyone looking for a delicious meal, friendly service, and a pleasant dining experience. I look forward to coming back again. Walking in before noon, we have the place to ourselves. Very clean restaurant, we placed our order and chose a nice table in the middle of the restaurant. The woman taking our order was very friendly. My wife tells her no onions on her tacos (it's all good, it was loaded with raw onions) she asked where we were from, I told her we're just passing thru town. She explained the various tacos and papusas, we order ordered four Birria tacos and a pork papusa. The food was delivered, I didn't mind the raw onions. My wife pushed thru and flicked them off her tacos. The end result? Man... those tacos were bangin'! So flavorful and the Au Jus that came with the tacos gave them the extra turbo shot. Highly recommended. I'm new to Papusas and what was served to us was very good. The counter person said I made for you a special Papusa with jalapeño. Now I am the non Hispanic causing panic, I jumped up and thanked her. This was heartfelt and made with love. I thank you KTO for the delicious food the other day.

I knew immediately that I wanted one but which one? Well everyone raves about the birria so I made my choice. My tostada was made fresh, the shell still a little warm from the grease and crispy. The birria was good but it kind of just tastes like a basic stewed beef to me, unremarkable. The guacamole was nice and fresh... but! It was way over salted. I had to brush quite a bit off because paired with the birria it was a salt bomb. Also I love cheese but I wasn't feeling the cheese on this one. It didn't have much flavor so it felt like it was there for the sake of it, I took it off. Now the tostada tasted good after my alterations but it shouldn't be better after removing ingredients. I would like to try another tostada, maybe their al pastor? And I'd hope their guacamole is appropriately salted.

The restaurant is beautiful, warm, and inviting, with such a lovely atmosphere. It's located in a charming downtown area filled with restaurants and shopping, but Bayberry was exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the lemon blueberry Dutch baby, and oh my goodness, it was AMAZING! Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the chicken club, while our boys ordered chicken tenders from the kids' menu. Speaking of the kids' menu, how adorable is this?! It was presented as a sail on a little wooden sailboat! Such a thoughtful and creative touch. The kids' portions were just right, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was beautifully maintained, and even the bathrooms were gorgeous! Another plus was the ample street parking, which made our visit that much easier. Bayberry checked all the boxes for us: delicious food, beautiful ambiance, great service, and a family-friendly experience without sacrificing a more elevated dining atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend and happily return!

The place is very nicely decorated and exudes an upscale but unpretentious vibe. I ordered a glass of the pinot noir which was tasty and at $6 a nice bargain. I got the chickpea fries and was surprised by the texture. It was almost custard like with a slight chickpea flavor in a very light breading. Served with the harissa aioli it made for a nice app. After a while I decided to try the Filet mignon sliders, which I ordered medium rare, the bartender said they don't usually take a temp on those but he'd note it. The meat is sliced very thin but was tender and still had a bit of red. The arugula gave it a nice peppery bite. My only critic is the slider roll was very cottony, but the overall taste was very good. I'll definitely be back and will try something off the regular menu.
