For my meal I got the poblano omelette and my friend ordered the two egg breakfast which came with choice of meat, toast and hash-browns. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time but someone other than our waitress brought it out and then our waitress never really came back. When she finally did come back I asked for hot sauce, and she took a while to come back with it. By the time she came back with it, I was already pretty much done/full. We were in the area for an appointment and wanted breakfast after. The plan was to try Toast, which was an equal amount of distance away from where we were. However, when we called Toast, the girl on the phone said there was a 40 minute wait and she was also rude. So we immediately opted out. It was 11:30am on a Thursday. We then decided to go to the old standby, IHOP. This location was off Sunrise Highway, around the left side of the mall. It has its own entrance from the outside and plenty of parking. We could see from the windows that there was hardly anyone inside. It was pouring rain and we were hungry. So we went against the low rated Yelp reviews and empty seats, and listened to our stomachs (and the hangry tweenager). We were kindly greeted upon entering. We asked for a booth and got seated at a clean table by the windows. Our waitress came right over to take our drink order. She was kind and efficient. An apple juice, a pot of decaf and a pot of regular coffee came to the table hot and fresh. We needed a few minutes to look over the menu and she obliged. We placed our order when she came back. We had a few questions and she answered them all with a smile. I would like to say that I had very low expectations because of our local IHOP where we live. We used to go often and it is so poorly run. The food is always wrong and always COLD! I don't get why it's always crowded. Who wants cold pancakes!? We spoke to a manager every time, who fixed the food and apologized, which is great...but it was literally EVERY. TIME. So we stopped going there. Well, this experience was the exact opposite. When the food came out, not only was it all correct, but it was also HOT! The way it's supposed to be. We were a party of 3 hungry gals and not one morsel was left on our plates. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the prices. They were pretty high and they charge you for every little thing. But that's not the fault of the restaurant. We paid $70 bucks for breakfast, for 3 people. At IHOP. We were able to take our time and enjoy our meal and each other's company. I came her with the cuzzies for a brunch meal after a palydate with our kids. I haven't been to IHOP in a long time but wanted my kid to try it at least once. I had the breakFEAST sampler with pretty much two of everything. My kiddo had a burger and fries, my cousin had a BEC on a biscuit, and her kid had chicken tendies and fries. The food was OK. It definitely didn't hit like it did when I was younger. I'd honestly rather make my own pancakes at home but if you're in need of a quick meal, IHOP can't hurt. I love a good omelet and friendly smile. IHOP had both. The restaurant was busy and had a little wait, but everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Tables were clean and cleared with efficiency. The food was excellent and well worth the $90 tab. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. She provided excellent suggestions and allowed us the perfect amount of space and service. I was very pleased with her service. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Me and my 2 year old came here Wednesday morning for a late breakfast. The service was very good! He was patient as we took a little while to figure out what we wanted. I got a 4 stack of chocolate chip pancakes that my son and I shared (it was more than enough for the two of us). I waited 45 min at first for a table of 7 . I spoke to the manager and she said we will try to help but can't hold one table if another one just started eating. As far as the food it's a pretty normal IHOP. In my experience some stick to the serving size and some like to go a little over and splurge, this one seems to be on the second team. The pancakes are bigger here so if you're the type of person who goes to baskin Robbins for the overscoop this is your ihop. Hello, my fellow Yelpers! It's good to be back. It's been almost six months, since the quarantine started...time to get back to business, shall we? Thursday afternoon, turned out to be a perfect day to get lunch after a job interview. Me, my mom and sister, headed to IHOP, by the Southshore Bay Mall area. It's been months since we went out to eat, as we usually did before. Fast forward, COVID-19 time, we entered the restaurant, and a masked associate greeted us. This was my first time at IHOP. I was craving pancakes. Tables were spread considerably apart. A big jug of hand sanitizer was at the door. I saw patrons enjoy their meals, sitting by the windows. My mom and sister ordered 2 pancakes, along with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, and a side order of sunny sideup fried eggs. I had the blueberry pancakes with blueberry compote and whipped cream, and a cup of coffee. The coffee was great, hot and on point with the flavor. The first bite was a warm hug that got to all the way to my bones. The pancakes were amazing. The establishment was clean, and so was the restroom. After all that sugar rush, we decided, after putting back our masks back on, to embark on taking a walk around the mall. Without any doubt, I can recommend this restaurant, if you're looking to eat some good ol' pancakes. Great service, great staff. No complaints. read more

Visited yesterday morning for breakfast and it left a lot to be desired. We were thankful for the short wait for our table but that was literally the only highlight of the visit. Our waitress came, took our order and we literally didn't see her until she dropped the check where she muttered "sorry, I've been busy". Oh, yeah? That's great since I was trying to flag you down for butter and ended up so hungry that I devoured dry pancakes (I don't eat syrup). My nieces mac and cheese came out cold, we had to wait for more water, napkins... the whole thing was a mess.
