5+++++++ Excellent!…read more Highest recommendation! Superior experience! Fantastic premium craft cocktails prepared in front of us by an expert mixologists! Shout out to Mixologists Charlie! Excellent job!! We sat at the bar for lunch and the Executive Chef greeted us and engaged us in conversation about the menu! We learned about his favorite dishes and how he locally sources premium oysters directly from oyster farmers! He knew them by name! Wow! Can you say "farm to table" fast enough! Nothing better than knowing the source! A++++ on sourcing local fresh products and engaging customers! Way to show you are passionate and dedicated to providing the best experience! We had fried olives, quite good and unique! Served in a Martini glass with some dipping sauce. A must try! A great accompaniment to one of their craft martinis! We also had the spicy tuna app. That was very good as well. Beautifully plated, flavorful and Asian-Fusion style. Recommended! We split a classic French Dip Sandwich, The bread was perfect! No skipping there! Classic French Baguette, slightly crispy crunch and perfect interior to soak up the right amount of the French Dip without becoming soggy! It also has horse radish dipping sauce on the side! Mmmmm! It had caramelized onions beautifully sliced slow cooked flavorful rib eye! All the right flavors! Probably one of the best French Dips around! Oh I gotta mention the thick crinkle cut chips! So many places fumble by putting just any commercially available fries or starch on the side of the plate. No fumbles at Magnolias! Seems they hand cut thick crinkle cut chips and fried them perfectly so the outside was crisp and the thick inside was soft and tender! Perfect!!! My Martini was a "Caprese Martini". Mozzarella fat washed, with mild olive oil and Basil flavors. Made right in front of us! Served chilled! Garnished with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato! Um perfect! Oh, forgot to mention, they have a super price fix lunch menu! Hard to beat! We will return again and again! After this experience, Magnolias is now on our list as one of our favorite South Shore spots! Cant wait to return! Highly recommended! Great Martinis! Fabulous eclectic tapas style menu! Bravo Magnolias!

We've been coming to Roadtrip in Bay Shore for a while now and it never disappoints. Every dish is…read moreinspired by a different state, which makes the menu so much fun to explore. We've been here for brunch and dinner, and everything is always delicious. Some of our favorites: the Texas street corn dip, maple chipotle wings, Napa Valley goat cheese bites, and the Bayou Creole seafood squid ink pasta (my kids call it the black pasta and they're obsessed). The Scottsdale seared mahi-mahi and Cowboy Bloom lavender chicken were amazing too. And don't skip the Hawaiian lava cake. The glitter mocktails were such a fun touch for the kids. It's a great family friendly spot with something for everyone. Service was amazing! We'll definitely be back.

As someone who has traveled to all 50 states, I couldn't resist checking out Roadtrip Bayshore. The…read moreconcept is fantastic: the menu changes regularly to highlight a different state, and during my visit it was Georgia week. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and unique concept, and accessibility done right.

My sister-in-law invited us to dinner at Bar Lucy to celebrate my brother's birthday. Although I've…read moredriven past it often and was intrigued by the yellow neon sign, it would slip my mind when choosing a place to dine. I'm so glad I've finally had a chance to try it. We started with three appetizers to share: the golden meatballs, the baked clams and the fried artichokes. All three were absolutely delicious. I chose ricotta cavatelli bolognese as my entree. It was rich and meaty and silky - something I'd definitely order again. I also tried my sister's autumn pizette, one of the specials. Thin crisp crust, thinly sliced squas, sausage, cheese and a drizzle of fig glaze. A perfectly composed fall dish. Everyone else enjoyed their meals (spaghetti & meatballs, veal parm, chicken française, and spaghetti with seafood.) We shared two desserts - tiramisu was just as I like it, moist but not wet with all the flavors melding into something greater than their individual parts. The tricolor cake was a slice of rainbow cookie, dense and decadent. Our server Michaela was charming and efficient. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed. Overall, a five star experience.

She was friendly, brought the menus, and got our drinks started. They also have daily specials throughout the week. I ordered the Meatball Monday spaghetti special, which came with garlic bread and a side salad for one price. To finish the meal, I had the tiramisu. The spaghetti was flavorful, and the tiramisu was light, fluffy, and a great way to end the meal. The service was good, the food was satisfying, and I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Now, I can't remember the name of the roll, but it has bananas and mangoes in it with crumbled Oreos on top. ??? Weird - Yes. Tasty? Meh it was alright. It's like a desert roll so I should have really thought about that, but I had never heard of a roll like that before so I HAD to try it. It was good, but I should have stuck with a dinner type roll. Would recommend if you had a group of people, not as a sole roll for dinner. Service: Two servers, no complaints. Haha, the first waitress gave us these little packages at the start and I was like "What is this?" I opened it and there was a warm towel inside. Nice touch. I think she thought I was a complete rookie because I have never had a sushi place offer that before! Atmosphere: Very nice inside, good for a divey bar scene or for a nice date. Nice menus and the towels were cool. Price: 30$ a person pretty standard. It's sushi, so it depends on what you get. The guy I was with got a straight sashimi plate which was a little more expensive, so it just depends on how hungry you are! Overall: Cool place, bonus for the towels, the unique rolls and the service. Not sure I will be back this way but if I am, I hope this place is still around!

Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7:30pm and is served at the bar only. We were lucky to arrive early since we were told by several people that it gets very busy. We ordered a little bit of everything. For drinks, we tried multiple Komodo Dragon and Mango Madness cocktails, which were $7 each during happy hour. We also ordered several happy hour appetizers and rolls, including the pork gyoza, popcorn chicken, chicken tempura roll, California roll, and American Dream roll. Everything tasted great, the presentation was nice, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered a Yuzu Mule but didn't care for the flavor. The bartender was very accommodating and happily switched it out for another drink, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was welcoming, with dim lighting and beautiful wood decor. We really enjoyed our outing and plan to come back again to try more from the menu.

The restaurant…read moreusually has some great specials and an impressive, rotating selection of east and west coast oysters. The servers are all well versed in the menu items, including the oyster selection, which is always a plus for me. Each time I've visited I ordered a few different oysters and have never been disappointed. You really cannot go wrong with what you order. The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. My first visit I tried the barramundi which, at the time was a special menu item. It seems they added it to the Mains but with a different preparation. This time I tried the salmon which was excellent. If seafood's not your jam, they have plenty of menu items to choose from. In addition to the food, they also have great cocktails and a stellar looking happy hour menu I can't wait to try. I recommend making reservations, especially if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night. Both times I went here the restaurant was packed, particularly the bar area. My only real critique is that the restaurant gets a bit loud, making it a tad difficult to hear but it's also a sign that the place is doing consistently well.

However, the seating in my opinion is on a tight spaced sidewalk where people and cars pass you by. It was crowded and our waiter was fine. The food took way too long to come out. It was like they forgot our order. It was happy hour for clams so that could have played a part. However, others had received their food before us. When the food finally came, the oysters were sad. Such small oysters for a place that's on the coast and bases it menu off the ocean. Our tuna tartar tacos were great. Best I've ever had. The flavor is towards the bottom of the taco so take a big bite to get all that flavor. IMO this is a nice place. I would not make it a go to spot for their oysters. But I would return.

Arianna was my server during a recent Happy Hour. She recommended that G4 Tequila be used for the Margarita that I ordered, and I subbed Triple Sec for a touch of Cointreau. It was so strong that I quickly got tipsy! The complimentary Salsa tasted as if only the freshest tomatoes were used, and the Chips had good crunch. For the entrée, I had the Grilled Bone-In 16 oz. Pork Chop with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Asparagus, Onions and Peppers, and Mango Salsa Chipotle Glaze. The onions were the tastiest part of the dish. TIP: BE SURE TO SMOTHER THE ONIONS AND GLAZE ALL OVER THE PORK BEFORE EATING! For dessert, I had the Dulce de Leche Creme Caramel Dessert Special. I did not like it because the peanuts sprinkled on top paired poorly with the Dulce de Leche; so I exchanged it for the Citrus Tres Leches, which was magnificent! The interior design of the restaurant was magnificent as well--with some shelves of Tequila bottles displayed at the entrance. The vibe is "upscale Mexican". It even appeals to people like me who usually do not eat Mexican food.

It's actually very hard to find good Mexican on the East Coast but Pecado has really mastered it, at least the items I had. The real stars were the street corn, ceviche and the coconut tres leches cake. Although the corn was pricey, it was super delicious with just the right amount of heat. The ceviche was perfectly seasoned and balanced with that lovely punch of lime and again, the right amount of heat (for me). The space is lovely with beautiful pendant lighting. It's obvious that Pecado took a lot of care to create a beautiful space to gather and share great food and drinks. Oh, and the drinks are so pretty. The sangria was strong but in the best way. I recommend and would absolutely come back again.
