Food came out quickly, which is always a win when you are hungry and ready to relax. The decor inside has a unique personality that gives the place a great vibe. It feels fun without trying too hard. The wings could have used a little more flavor, but nothing worth complaining about. Everything else was solid and the bathrooms were clean, which I always appreciate. Albany may not have the endless restaurant lineup you would find in a major city, but we have some genuinely good spots. Locos is definitely one of them. Good service, good atmosphere, and a meal you can count on. I would happily come back.

I got their Sriracha Shrimp tacos with Cajun fries as my side. The shrimp tacos were very good, some of the best tacos I've ever had. The fries were decent - definitely seasoned well. The food we got was solid. We were able to try a wide variety of menu items: the ribeye, fried catfish, fries, asparagus, mac n cheese, Caesar salad, pecan pie, and cookie skillet dessert. They were all great, but we have some favs we'd get again. Even though they're a "seafood place" we preferred the Ribeye! Tasty, tasty flavor and VERY generous portion. All of the sides were excellent. No notes. Then in terms of dessert, u strongly recommend the cookie skillet over the pecan pie. Sadly, we didn't care for the pecan dessert at all. It felt like it didn't have ANY pecan in it. Meanwhile, the cookie skillet was TO DIE FOR-- YUM!
