Hats off to Diana, Ruby, Mia, Kat, Tony and Marco for their hustle in trying to keep everyone fed, hydrated and happy. They were running their butts off! Props also to the kitchen staff. I'm sure last night was much busier than even a busy weekend night on a typical week. As busy as they were, food was taking a little longer than normal to come out, but the kitchen staff didn't let it affect their standards. The corned beef & cabbage was delicious! The corned beef was fork tender and melted in your mouth. The cabbage, red potatoes and sliced carrots were seasoned well and buttery. A nice but not overpowering garlic taste. I believe this is a Mom/Pop/Family owned business but it was a little awkward just waiting around trying to get someone's attention. We ordered the Firecracker Chicken again, and my friend got another chicken sandwich I don't remember the name it was some chicken thigh sandwich. Oh we also ordered a side of onion rings $8.00 though for onion rings. Honestly, complete rip off and it was a small portion and they weren't even that good. The owner was very nice and even gave me a complimentary iced tea that he said is one of their popular drinks great gesture, although personally I wasn't a big fan of the tea. Food-wise, this time just didn't hit the same. The Firecracker Chicken tasted very different from the first time I had it, and unfortunately neither of us really loved our sandwiches.
