Great friendly and quick service. Food was great too, my favorite was the lamb dish and the gulab jamun. Will be back!

We tried this gem for the first time on Sunday and loved this authentic Indian cuisine restaurant. We didn't have to wait for a table and they brought us our food fairly quick. We also had butter chicken and it was very tasty!

After ordering multiple times on Uber eats, we decided to try dining in at Ifra's. Inside was a little warm for my liking, I definitely think they should turn the air conditioning down some. Our waiter was stern, not the friendliest, but attentive. The food tasted better fresh than delivered. I do have to point out; hey did not have any ice, which I thought was weird. Also, the table cloth was dirty at our table when we got there. This joint has decent food, but it is in need of some TLC.

Ifra is our favorite local place for Indian food. They have one of the best lunches specials around. It's high quality and a lot of value for the money. We got the Chicken Masala and Chicken Madras linch specials during our last visit. The staff is really cool as well

The food was amazing and they have great service! The feel in the restaurant is also very nice and vibrant.

Overview The mango lassi is one of the best I've tried lately, and the naan, plain, garlic, and cheesy, are very good, but the actual food is lacking in flavor AND spice, the service is a little slow. The Experience My parents invited my aunt and me to have a bit of Indian food, and since our usual spot wasn't open, we selected Ifra's. We started with a couple of mango lassies (mango-flavored yogurt drink) which were really, really good, and 2 rations of samosas (the menu has chicken and vegetable samosas, but they didn't have chicken, so we got the vegetable. Each ration has two, good sized, well filled samosas. with a ver mild taste, but pretty good regardless. They come with tamarind sauce and mint sauce... the tamarind sauce was good enough, the mint sauce was not up to expectations. Again, the flavor isn't bad, but you've definitely had better (I know I have). The main courses were where the real problem started. We ordered two Tandoori Chickens, one Chicken Tikka Masala and one Chicken Korma. We specifically requested one of the Tandoori chickens and the Chicken Korma to be extra hot. There were three issues with all of them: 1) almost no salt. easy fix: the salt shake on the table. no problem 2) almost no flavor. yes, even after applying salt. both the mild dishes and the supposedly spicy dishes had such a bland flavor, that if it weren't because of the colors and/or sauces, you would have trouble to accept they were actually prepared. 3) no spice at all. now, this is a plus for the non-spicy (mild) tandoori and to the (mild) non-spicy tikka masala, but the Korma had no spices at all, and I dare anyone to try the both the spicy and the mild Tandoori chicken and tell me which one was which one. My father actually sent it back and they brought it back "spicier". It actually was spicier than the first time, but I've had spicier "mild" versions in other restaurants. Now, I have the theory that Indian food restaurateurs eventually get tired of customers not knowing what they were getting into, and that's why there comes a point when they don't even try to deliver spicy dishes to the regular public. I can understand that business decision, and that's why I know I can go and usually order the hottest level in the menu because I'll be able to handle the spiciness... but this was ridiculous. There is a difference between mild-ing it down for the "delicate" unaccustomed Miamian palate, and a whole different thing to be bland. And that's what this was... I read quite a few reviews here saying it was either great or very spicy and I disagree on both statements: even if we disregard the lack of spiciness, as I said before, the flavor, while good, was very, very bland. The service was ok, if a bit (very) slow, even though we were the only occupied table in the whole restaurant. I don't know, maybe they had a bad day... But I don´t think I'll be giving them a second chance food-wise... but I'm very likely to go and get another mango lassie in the future.

Was craving some Indian food and was reminded of this delicious spot a few blocks away from my place! Of course, I ordered lots of garlic naan bread and chicken tikka masala which was creamy and delicious. The portion was very generous. Food was ready at the time it said it would. Place is small and cozy, and though I've never dined in, it seems like a lovely place to sit for dinner.

Ifra's Indian Kitchen is a great new addition to the strip mall hosting some of my fave restaurants, like Roasters and Toasters. The parking can be tight for that area, but we still always find a spot. The inside of the restaurant is very modern with exposed brick and very clean. The chicken tikka masala was the highlight of our meal. The sauce was delicious and comparable to Indian food that we've had in places like Mauritius and Malaysia. We were pouring that sauce onto our rice, our naan - everything! We also ordered the chili tilapia - spicy, fresh, and good. Our only suggestions for improvement are that the naan and rice were not hot when they came out. I think that they were just understaffed given a full restaurant at 3 PM on a Sunday. We will 100% be back again for that chicken tikka masala! Can't wait! read more

Christmas Eve. Ordered food an hour before close via grubhub. Called to confirm. Food didn't come. It may be good food, but if you can't get it then how would you know? Maybe grubhub was at fault, maybe the restaurant. No call or text. Very disappointed. Very hungry. Merry Christmas Ifra's Indian Kitchen read more

This is a little but special Indian place. The place is simple but the waiter was full of energy. He was great. He was the only server and took care of all of the tables but we didn't mind because he was a great host. The food is delish and well made. The only thing, it seemed they had a bit of a leak problem in the hallway to the bathroom and some of their spices on the hall cabinets were exposed, I would suggest they put them away in some glass jars perhaps for safe keeping and esthetics. read more

My only regret is not taking pictures of the food before digging in. The staff here is incredibly friendly and happy to walk you through the menu and recommend dishes based on your preferences. The food is absolutely incredible. It's definitely on the spicy side so approach with caution even if you think you can handle spicy. We tried lamb with the lentils and goat with the almost paste sauce. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. We're definitely coming back. read more

Very nice restaurant. We ordered takeout. Fortunately, there was plenty of parking because of the pandemic. They had hand sanitizer in many areas. The service was fantastic and the chef was nice and food prepared quickly. We ordered the Salmon masala and mahi-mahi vandaloo, lentil soup, and roti. The roti and the soup were fantastic! The fish in the dishes were a bit dried out, It was okay. I would need to try another dish that is not fish to really get a good feel for the cooking. Try again. read more

Musli and Hindu brothers and sisters please be aware restaurant management claiming they are serving goat meat, it's lie they are substituting BEAF meat for goat meat. I humbly confronted thrice and proved it was beaf its meat. But the person managing the restaurant kept arguing and saying they are not serving beef from last 6 month. I did mention it's un ethical & crime, don't fool and don't do this specifically to Hindu's since they don't eat beef. Even then he was arrogant keep arguing that he is Hindu and it's not beef. Shame on him for fooling the comm . He doesn't know that beef meat muscles threads are thicker &lobg and if pieces are big then it will have bones. you cannot make big pieces of meat of goat meat without bones and it will not have thick and long muscles thread. For Muslim brothers be aware if someone fools people by this can also lie about Halal meat. His prices differences also for meat dishes proves he is not serving goat meat because beaf, lamb and goat meat don't come in same value but his all meat entree is of same $20.99 read more

Just barely squeaks in as a 4 star. Tasty food but portions are a bit small (i.e., the amount of chicken in a chicken dish). Garlic naan a bit less flavorful than some other Indian restaurants down south in Pinecrest or Palmetto Bay which also provide larger entree portions but at higher prices. Not my favorite Indian place; nonetheless, quality food at a fair price so I would recommend. read more

I have eaten and cooked Indian food many times. The Tandoori chicken was four shriveled up pieces with a couple of pieces of onion and peppers. Must have been leftover from the day before. The Shrimp Saag was tasteless. The Naan and rice were fine. Raita was some liquid with a couple of shreds of cucumber. Service is awful. I have been wanting to have Indian food for a while and was hesitant because all I knew was that its usually spicy beyond my tolerance! This place look approachable and ventured in. I ordered the only thing a recognized Veggie Samosa to buy some time with the rest of the menu. To get to the point, everything I ordered was not only extremely tasty but not spicy at all. Creamy goat, which I had no idea it was part of Indian food, veggie samosas (incredible tamarind dipping sauce), coconut cream(soup), garlic Naan bread, basmati rice, and pistachio icecream. Service was Excellent and Fast! Coming back for sure :) read more

We ordered for delivery--Chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, samosas, veggie app platter, and cheese and garlic naans. The naans were good, as were the chicken dishes. I asked for mine extra spicy and they obliged. The samosas were delicious, but the rest of the appetizers were just deep fried and soggy with saturated oil. Also, the cost for those things (and nothing else) came out to $88--and that does not include a the delivery fee. So all things considered, this was good (not great) food at an absurd price point. I recommend you skip it. read more

My coworkers and I were very excited to see Ifra's pop up across the street. We walked over for lunch this afternoon (approx 12:15PM) and were refused service. The employee behind the counter explained that his servers were running late and therefore we could not be served. Meanwhile, there is a young lady sitting down...EATING. He then went on to say, we can order food to-go. This was very confusing-it is not a large restaurant and other than the aforementioned young lady, we were the only other customers. So, you can cook our food and hand it to us, but you can't walk 3 feet and set it on a table? We asked again if we could sit to make sure we were understanding. He said no, so we walked out, and we won't be walking back in. I predict they won't be in business too long. read more

The quality of the food is truly unmatched. The koobideh platter or chicken joojeh platter are typically my first pick; with a side of their salad, rice and sumac sauce, simply made to perfection. You can tell the owners have poured their heart into the business, because the food and the service speak for themselves. Another plus? The pricing. It's so reasonable, I wish more restaurants used great ingredients without charging you an arm and a leg. Absolutely love this spot. If you're thinking of trying it out... consider this your sign.

OK experience eating a ground meat kabob close to our motel…read more Shahs' of Kabob started in 2017, and has expanded to ten locations. It serves halal Persian cuisine in a fast casual environment. This location in South Miami is quite small, with only seating for 10 or so people. One thing we noticed right away was the delicious smell coming from the indoor grill...pretty much told you that the roasted meats were going to be good. I wasn't too hungry so ordered the small plate of Koobideh ($15). The cashier was nonchalant when asked about what to recommend. Once ready, it was brought over to our table. It came with a large mound of saffron rice, which was quite good. A better choice would have been half and half of a small salad with the rice. The koobideh was very similar (even exactly the same to my untrained palate) to a Turkish adana kebab or an Arabic kefta...made with a combination of beef and lamb ground meat, made flatter vs round. It was warmed/cooked over a grill and had that nice char taste that one gets from grilling. I didn't notice there were condiments in ketchup/mustard squeeze bottles until too late...it gives the place a kind of hot dog joint feel which I don't think was the intention.

Ifra's Indian Kitchen is a gem that's just a notch away from perfection! I went during lunch, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm, aromatic spices that promised a flavorful meal. The space itself is cozy and inviting, though seating can feel a bit cramped when it gets busy. The food? Absolutely delicious. The Chana Masala was excellent. I asked for it Indian Hot, and they certainly obliged--it had the perfect fiery kick that made every bite unforgettable. The Aloo Paratha was buttery, soft, and downright delicious, rounding out the meal beautifully. The service was friendly but a bit slow. However, they stayed attentive, which goes a long way in my book. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food, with most entrees hovering around $12-$16. Portions are generous, so you'll likely leave with leftovers (always a bonus!). Ifra's is a spot I'll be revisiting--especially for that Chana Masala and Aloo Paratha combo. With just a few tweaks to the service, it could easily earn that fifth star. read more

We're loving this new place - because it's new, it's quite quiet, but I'm guessing once the word gets out about the food it will be busy. The food is very tasty; we've been twice and tried a bunch of dishes and all were great. Chicken Tika Masala is always the dish I order to gauge any Indian restaurant and theirs is excellent. The beer refrigerator was not very well stocked (so had to go to some second choices), but everything else was great, including our lovely server. read more
